“Why?" You chuckled. You threw off your blanket and slid out of bed. As soon as you stood up, your vision spun. Lucian was quick to hold you as you were about to fall.

“And even with all that, I still don’t want to see you get hurt,” he scoffed. “I’m really pathetic.”
“You’re not,” you muttered. “Look, I am- I’m sorry. When I entered the past, I only had one thing in mind, and that was to save you. Everything went to shit after that.”
You could hear his soft breathing.
“Time behaves differently around here, but I didn’t expect that to happen,” Lucian said. “If that happened, is it possible that I could change the past by going to that specific time?”
You shrugged. “Honestly, I don't even have any idea how I got there.”
He was about to say more when suddenly, his bedroom window slid open.
