Together, you snuck out of the attic. Lone man told you to keep close to him. He smells so sweet, even sweeter than before. You tried to touch his coat, but he instead held your wrist gently as he guided you under the shadows.
You could see Lone man's brother tap dancing in the middle of the room, his joints twisting in sick manners.

"Thank you for saving me back there," Lone man said. "It shouldn't have happened. I was just picking some plants that I learned from the book of magic I found in one of our bookshelves when my brother saw me."
"Book of magic?"
Lone man nodded. "I know it sounds weird, but maybe it could help break the curse."
"Do you have it? Do you have enough of that plant? Maybe we should get more!" You said.
I've got a lot," he replied. "Thank you for your help."
