You decided to have fun. The phrase seemed so foreign to you, but as Lone man took your hand in his, your worries dissolved and turned into bliss. Lone man laughed as you two ran into the rain. His laughter was contagious, and you couldn't help but laugh as well. He led you to a beautiful lake.
"A lake," you said.
"This is my favorite place," Lone man said, with a hint of pride in his tone.
The lake was still except for the raindrops that disturbed its peace. Circular ripples decorated the blue water. You looked over and saw yourself, probably for the first time in forever since you entered this forest. Surprisingly, you still looked the same—even a bit better, for that matter. It doesn't make sense, but you shrug it off.

"It's like glass," you muttered.
Lone man nodded. "Yes."
Slowly, he guided you into the lake. It was so still that you were afraid it was solid. But, of course, you were wrong. The water was cooler than the rain. Strangely, the water seemed to reject the both of you, as without any effort, you two started to float.
"This is fun," you said. You floated in the lake as the cool raindrops showered you.
Lone man looked at you. Like you, he was floating as well. For a mere second, behind all the shadow and mist, you saw a man with big brown eyes and a smile so pure, your heart melted.
