You stopped and waited for him. He was walking slowly, as if you were all in some sort of park in the middle of the day. He was looking around, his hands inside the pockets of his jacket. He saw you looking at him, and he smiled at you. It looks nothing like the deathly worried and afraid Atlas from a while ago. He looked pleasant—and a bit more fresh? Like someone who had just come out of the shower. Someone who was given special good news
All in all, you could tell something was different with him.
"You looked like you were enjoying this," you said.
Atlas was caught off guard; he quickly shook his head and said, "What? No. I'm just glad we're going home."
