You've finally reached the house after stumbling down a number of times, once in the path down the church and then three times at the dandelion fields, when most of the thunderous noises erupted. You opened the front door, forgetting one of the most vital rules Lucian had taught you before.
Your body went rigid as you saw two shadows in the dim light inside the house. It’s Lucian’s mother and half-brother. Her bones snapped in odd angles as she slowly made her way to you. She stopped a few meters away from where the striking moonlight touched the floor.

“Where is my boy?” She thundered. “What did you do to my boy?”
You pressed your palm over your mouth, remembering what Lucian had warned you about before.
Lucian’s half-brother turned to you, its big and inflated body made him look as if he were some kind of balloon.
“Mother,” he said, “Mother, what is that person doing here?"
Lucian’s mother groaned as she took another step. “Where is my baby?”
“Mother, I am here,” the other shadow said.
Lucian’s mother turned back sharply. He retreated into the shadows like a scared dog. She turned to you, stepped into the warm moonlight, her feet disappeared in the light. She took a step back.
“I… need my… son,” she said in a painful tone.
And that’s when you decided to point in the direction of the town.
