"He's just some goofy dude," Kristine said.
You slowly nodded as you watched him disappear inside the library. "You two are..."
Kristine's expression slowly turned sour as she blurted out, "Ew no, we're just friends." She playfully elbowed you, "How about you, huh?"
"We just met yesterday," You replied dryly.
Kristine set up her bike beside the lamp post and placed a "for rent" sign near its wheel. "I thought you were one of them."

You looked behind you, but all you could see were people setting up colorful decorations in front of their stores. "Who?"
She shrugged, "I always forget that you're new here! It's really strange to have a new person here in this small town. What I mean is those fangirls. Atlas has an "underground" fangirls group that he probably doesn't know about or is just too clueless to realize."
"Oh, that's kind of creepy," you muttered.
Kristine chuckled, "Right?" Her eyes drifted towards the guy on the steel staircase putting up decorations, "Hey you! If your scissors fall on my bike, you're paying for damages."
"What the hell are you talking about? Can't you just move?" The guy shouted back.
"I was also wondering, what's up with all these..." You looked around you.
Kristine clasped her hands together and said, "Oh, you are going to love this town."
