"Totally acceptable," Kristina said, raising her hands.
You breathed in the crisp air and released a shaky breath. You noticed how the people of the town were working together to fix the decorations. They also engaged in conversations that rather looked lifeless because neither of them were smiling, and if so, it looked like they were told to smile at gunpoint. At least they are trying to make everything normal again.

Atlas glanced at you. "I can't wait for the festival."
Kristina placed an arm around your shoulder. "Our friend here will experience their first ever New Helios festival! Isn't that exciting? There will be tons of food stalls, amazing games, contests, and, oh, don't forget the..."
"Dance!" Kristina and Atlas said in unison.
That sounds good.
Atlas pressed his hands together. "Okay, what if we just try to forget what happened yesterday for a bit and help these people set up for the festival?"
"That's a good idea," Kristina said, stretching her arms.
You nodded. You could use a break from all of this heavy thinking.
