You went to your room and locked your door. You tried to drown out the horrible noises from outside by listening to music. You vowed to yourself that you would never go out of the house again. That's what the radio announcer said, right? Do not go out.
And so you did.

After that day, everything returned to normal. You wouldn't lie to yourself; you wanted to go out and enjoy life again. Pretend that nothing happened and call what had happened before some sort of coincidence; after all, those who died on the first day were the eldest of the community.
But you were wrong; after a couple of days, the town held a festival, which started an astronomical tidal wave of events that led to everything you had feared.
You eventually met your end.
