I guess there's no turning back now.
"Yes, a shadow or an entity who calls himself Lone man," you said in a whisper.
Atlas walked towards you. "You need to come with me."
"What?"
Atlas quickly wrapped his fingers around your wrist as he made his way through the busy street. You have no idea where he is taking you. Maybe to Kristina's grandma. Then it hit you. Atlas certainly didn't laugh or look confused when you told him about Lone Man. You pulled your hand away from his grasp.
"You know him, don't you?" You asked him. Before you could say another word, a commotion broke inside the library. "What was that?"
Standing on the pavement, a few meters away from the entrance of the library, you could hear the sound of people shouting and panicking. Panic arose in your chest as sirens from an ambulance followed by a police car whirred the air.
