Lone man muttered your name as he tilted his head.
"You're warm," you said in a soft whisper.
His eyes widened. He touched his own hand as if that would work. You could sense panic in him as he looked at himself and then at you. "How about you? What are you feeling?"
"I'm feeling alright," you replied. "Why? Is there something—am I turning?"
"No, no. I can still see you clearly. You still look good as ever." His tone suggested that he was smiling. "Maybe the changes in me have something to do with the rain."
You nodded.
"Come on," Lone man said, "let's have fun."
