“You’re here to make things right?” Lucian, the Lone man asked.
You could feel that although he and Atlas had been good friends, Lucian couldn’t help but doubt him. You wanted to tell Lucian to trust him, but you also thought that it would be better if Atlas was the one to prove himself.
“Yes,” Atlas replied.
Rolling your eyes, you sighed loudly. “That’s it. Lucian, you can trust Atlas, I swear. What’s happening in our town is... horrible, and it’s killing..." you trailed off. You glanced at Atlas and saw pain in his eyes. “And it’s killing the ones we love.”

Standing next to a wooden staircase that led to the top of the hill, Lucian pressed his hand against the rocks.
“We aren’t safe from those trapped souls,” Lucian said. “The townspeople turned into these shadow figures… but, unlike me, they are mindless.”
Atlas, as if he had not heard Lucian, took a step forward.
You tried to stop Atlas. “Hey! They might be dangero-“
He looked at you with a flat expression. “Wait here.”
