You spent your day following Lucian around. He was a pretty active kid. He loves going outside. He would hop and skip over invisible obstacles. He would run as fast as he could and then try his best to climb a tree, which he always failed. Soon enough, you grew tired. You sat under a huge tree, watching Lucian draw on a patch of soil with a stick while singing to himself.
"So, this is what you've been doing for decades, huh?" You spoke.

Lucian stopped what he was doing and glanced up. He looked around him, like he had just heard you.
"Hey? Lone man—I mean, Lucian?" You scrambled to your feet. "Can you hear me?" you shouted.
Lucian scratched the back of his head. He threw away the stick and hopped his way back to his house.
"Lone man-!"
Then he stopped. The wind was painfully cold against your skin. Lucian slowly turned. His gaze shot through you. His brown eyes were big and curious. He slowly tilted his head.
"Lone man..." he mumbled ever so softly.
He went back inside the house.
