Jola energized the katana as he held the sheath with his left hand and the hilt with his right hand with his legs and back bent a little to give him more stability. He felt the electricity in the blade vibrating against his skin, he counted until the right time and tightened his grip on the blade, the 3 minutes and 23 seconds passed and the blade flew out of the sheath and Jola’s hand with it.
The force was so strong that even with his stance it drew him forward… in an instant Jola was gone and an intense yellow flash of lightening shone for a brief moment accompanied by a thunder that sounded a few 10 meters away from where he was staying. His feet had made indentations on the ground as the blade drew him, so they knew the direction he went to.
The two women ran to where Jola was with a worried expression. When they arrived they saw Jola on the floor face flat with the katana in hand, the tip pointing toward the destruction the lightening and force had caused.
A 300 meter line of destruction lay in front of them in the direction that the blade pointed to, the air was very hot, like they were close to a furnace. Jola’s hand that held the blade was charred and he had passed out.
Some seconds later he woke up and observed his surroundings, the two women were beside him while Samira was some meters away. He got up and Anita asked worried “What happened?” he replied “The katana was too strong, it pulled me forward, it took all my strength to not leave the ground and hold the katana, the electricity must have knocked me out”
Samira thought ‘This didn’t happen to Jade when he did it, he must be weaker than Jade then’
They went back to where Samira was and Samira said “I guess you aren’t strong enough to handle it when it’s fully charged” as she looked at his burnt hand “you can unlock the sheath before it is fully charged so that you don’t’ get burnt again”. Jola replied “How?” as he looked at the katana looking for a switch, latch or a screen “there is no switch”.
Samira had a surprised expression as she said “Sorry, I forgot you aren’t used to this type of technology. If you order the blade with your thoughts it can be unlocked. You can also use the other skills the same way”.
Jola was dumbfounded ‘With my thoughts? How is it possible to make such a thing?’ He stared at Samira in confusion.
Samira armed Night Havoc and swung it, a flying slash was produced from the blue aura that coated the blade. She holstered the axe and said “Just like that it’s very easy, why don’t you try it?”
Jola couldn’t hide his surprise as he thought ‘Wow she also has skilled weapons. This is the real deal’.
Jola swung his blade with the intention to do the same, he told the blade to perform a flying slash and it did. Although the slash didn’t come out at right time, Samira said “You have to order it before you slash or it won’t have enough time to prepare the attack, a little practice and you’ll get the hang of it”.

Jola performed 2 flying slashes and with those two he was already used to doing the attacks, he could feel a vague connection between his mind and the sword, which he had not noticed before.
Samira told him “Try out the aura blade” and Jola did just that, he told the katana to make an aura blade and it did; a blade of white aura with some yellow lightening arcing around it, it was curved just like the katana, it was an extension of the blade of the katana, the blade was very bright and very hot.
Samira nodded as she saw he had gotten the idea and said “So how much?” Jola turned to face her and said “I don’t know let me and my friends discuss this first” Jola handed the sword back to Samira and consulted with the women.
Teni was the first person to speak, she said “Are we really talking about this? Let’s just take the blade from her, she can’t fight us” in a hushed tone to ensure Samira didn’t hear.
Anita rebuked “Teni, you really think that’s a good idea? That’s why we never let you lead a team, you are too rash. What if we attack her and her master retaliates? What if he is testing us and watching us right now?
Do you think we are able to defeat someone who can make something like this? And even if her master wasn’t with her again, what if he finds out that his student was robbed by us?”
Seeing Teni’s unconvinced expression she said “Even if we are as unstoppable as you think you are, we don’t want to make an enemy out of someone who can make such a thing, our aim now that we’ve seen the weapons capabilities is to employ the maker or trade with him if possible. Do you understand?” Teni thought for a moment, realized her stupidity and nodded in agreement.
Anita looked at Jola and said “Ask her who her master is when we’re done, we have to try. Now for the weapon, you used it how much do you honestly think it costs, power wise, I know it is priceless if we were to consider the research importance”
Jola replied “From what my IP said, it seems to be made from a Rank 6 monster and a Rank 5 monster adding the cost of the workmanship, I think it is worth about 2 million en-code, if we ignore the rarity and the fact that it is perfect for my stat build and fighting style”
Anita smiled and said “Tell her we’ll buy it for 4 million en-code” Jola and Teni nodded, although it was a huge sum for the sanctuary they both knew this weapon was worth it.
The group broke up and Jola told Samira “I am willing to pay 4 million en-code for this weapon. Samira smiled and said “Deal!” as she stretched her hand for a hand shake, which Jola took.
Anita came forward and transferred the sum to Samira and she gave Anita the weapon, when it was received Jola asked “Please can you tell me who your master is?”
Anita mentally face palmed and thought ‘You don’t have to beg her’. Jola was a nice person which made him a bad business man, and the fact that Samira had sold the weapon so easily had made him bring out his nice side.
Samira responded as she had been taught many times “That’s confidential”. Jola hurriedly asked “Are you going to meet with him again? We would like to send him a message” Samira replied again “That’s confidential” “b-but-” “That’s confidential”.
There was silence for a while before she broke it again “So can I go to your settlement now or do you still have questions”.
Jola was brought back in to reality from his world of pain ‘Now that I think about it I came here to interview a Rank 4 who wanted to enter the sanctuary, how did it suddenly become the most important trade in the history of the sanctuary. This was a really weird day’
Jola replied “You can, we will get someone to give you a tour of all the important places around the city”. Samira said “Thank you, but I would rather explore by myself”.
