Samira woke up about 8 hours later. She got up from the bed she was on, Jade had returned her to where he put her earlier, she looked out the window; it was night time. Her IP said ‘Congratulation, you have evolved into a High Human’, she looked at her body there wasn’t much of a change, which was expected since she was still a species close to human.
She got up from the bed and walked toward the room’s door, she noticed that she was moving quite fast, she felt very energetic, like she had just eaten a bowl of sugar. Her eyes noticed very minute details in the fabric of the curtain on the window. She felt like she was in a new world.
She went down the stairs and again she saw a pile of concrete moving slightly up and down, she then noticed ‘Its night time yet I can still see in such detail, this is trippy’ she thought as she proceeded to where Jade was.
When she got there Jade was doing squats under the pile of concrete, as she was closer she could see that there was some sort of adhesive that was used to glue the concrete together. Jade dropped the concrete, sweating and panting, with a lake of sweat under him, and said “That was quick, mine took 2 whole days. How do you feel?”
Samira jumped up; her vertical was about 55 inches, which was miraculous for someone who had never trained it. Samira smiled when she got down and said “Awesome!” Jade smiled back and said “Ok, there are some things you have to know. First, don’t tell anyone who I am, I’m a famous serial killer so people will recognize me if you say my name and give a description.
Second, I have some technologies you may never see people with; don’t tell people about the tech, it will just make me more of a target. Third, I’ll be sending you to the city of a friend of mine after I’m done giving you some basic training, be nice to him but not too nice.
Fourth, enjoy yourself when you get there, I know the world has turned to shit but life goes on regardless, I don’t want you to come back a year later as an Emo”
Samira nodded excitedly and Jade seeing her excitement decided to bring it down by saying “Your basic training is going to take some months, you know?” Samira’s eyes widened and then her expression became pained, she said “But, I want to go now”.
Jade responded with a dead pan expression “You really think that because you are as athletic as a world class athlete, you can survive the apocalypse. You couldn’t be more wrong, you can’t beat Abhad now if he was still alive”
Samira’s expression got sullen “So what do I do then?” she said. Jade sighed and said “This is the guidance you wanted, you know? I’m going to send you 1 million en-codes, but first tell me what you know about en-code, stats and your evolution”.
Samira responded “En-code is what people use to get stronger, faster and more powerful; it can be gotten from killing monsters and people. Stats are the measure of various combat essential traits that a person has” Jade’s eyes widened as he heard her speak ‘How is her knowledge so refined, isn’t she illiterate?’

Samira continued “The high human race is a race with generally higher physical and mental quality than humans and they have something called an energy organ, which humans don’t have” Samira smiled as she saw Jade’s dumbfounded expression.
Jade said “How did you comprehend such a concept? You never went to school!” Samira chucked and said “I’ve played Xenoblade this isn’t so complex”. Jade had a blank expression as he thought ‘Oh yeah, it is kinda similar to RPGs’.
Jade explained to her the things she was missing in her description like how a species’ natural maximum en-code determines their strength in comparison to others. He also told her the two stellar questions he had asked his IP and when she asked her IP it responded the same way as Jade’s IP.
She got the information for her race, High Human, it was the same as what Jade got from his IP about High Humans. The quests she got were only for High Humans and Humans unlike Jade who got the quests for Primordial Humans and Humans.
Her High Human quests that were different form Jade’s quests were:
> [Evolution Quests:]
>
> [High Human:
>
> Complete an impossible quest – reward: you get an evolution ticket – status: incomplete.
>
> Improve all stats to the major ‘low’ Rank before evolving beyond the High Human (Homo Altum) race – reward: all evolution options become Ancient grade races – status: complete.
>
> Improve one stat to the major ‘Intermediate’ Rank before evolving beyond the High Human (Homo Altum) race – reward: all evolution options become Ancient grade races – status: incomplete.
>
> Improve all stats to the major ‘High’ Rank before evolving beyond the High Human (Homo Altum) race – reward: a ‘superior’ race option will be available when evolving – status: incomplete.
>
> Improve one stat to the absolute ‘Pinnacle’ Rank before evolving beyond the High Human (Homo Altum) race – reward: a ‘superior’ race option will be available when evolving – status: incomplete.
>
> Acquire 2 evolution tickets – reward: a chance to evolve – status: 0/2 evolution tickets acquired, impossible (incomplete)]
>
> [Impossible Quests:]
>
> [High Human:
>
> Improve all stats to the absolute ‘Pinnacle’ Rank before evolving beyond the High Human (Homo Altum) race – reward: all evolution options become Mythical grade races – status: impossible (incomplete).
>
> Improve one stat to the unreachable ‘Transcendent’ Rank before evolving beyond the High Human (Homo Altum) race – reward: an ‘extinct’ evolution option becomes available and all evolution options become Mythical grade races – status: impossible (incomplete).]
Jade asked her how evolving was with an IP and she said “It wasn’t so special, there was only the High Human race option so I picked it and then my mind went off”.
Jade transferred a million en-codes to her after and they began their workout. Samira quickly realized that Jade’s workout routine was something she couldn’t handle even after her evolution, she used weights for her training that were on the high side of human limits.
