After hearing the Emperor, Mira said to Funmi through a mental message “The lines have been drawn”. Funmi nodded her head and said 'Yeah, those were fighting words'.
Mira said to the three Lords “Thank you for entertaining us, we will leave now”. After which they escorted Mira out of Hassan’s territory.
When Mira and Funmi had gone some distance away Funmi said with a mental message 'I’m really fast and I can run away when I’m surrounded. Are you sure it’s a good idea for you to actively attack these people?' Mira said “I can teleport” and showed her ring to Funmi “So there’s no problem. If it gets messy I’ll just teleport away”.
Funmi nodded and said 'We should attack tomorrow. To give other people a chance to change and to give you the chance to get used to what I’m going to give you'.
Mira raised an eye brow at that statement and Funmi said 'One of the abilities I have as an energy life form is to bless people with a certain type of lightning. I didn’t understand this feature until our spar. It seems I can make use of different types of lightning with different properties. For now blue is for control and white is for speed and power'.
Mira asked “What do you mean by bless?” Funmi said 'I don’t know too, I guess we’ll find out'. Mira asked “Why don’t you give other people this blessing in exchange for joining us?” Funmi said 'It’s a onetime thing for each type of lightning'. Mira was silent for a moment before she said “Thanks for giving me this then”.
Funmi smiled and said 'No problem'. She turned into a humanoid made of white lightning and floated towards Mira she said “YOU ONLY GET ONE TYPE OF LIGHTNING THOUGH”. Mira nodded and Funmi touched her forehead with her index finger. Numerous arcs of white lightning extended from the point of contact to every part of Mira’s body.
To a normal spectator these arcs looked chaotic but to Funmi she saw a symphony, a pattern, a harmony, a spell, a mantra; ones that couldn’t be activated with energy, only with white lightning could they be activated. Turning to an energy life form had deprived Funmi of her energy organ but now she saw a new hope as she looked at the seemingly random arcs of lightning.
Funmi removed her finger from Mira’s forehead and turned back to her normal self but the lightning arcs still ran around Mira who was had her eyes closed. After a few minutes the lightning died down and Mira opened her eyes.
Funmi said “HOW DOES IT FEEL?” Mira said “It’s like… it’s like… I don’t know how to explain it. It’s like I was part lightning all along but I didn’t know it, like I didn’t know myself”. Funmi said “HMM… WELL THE BLESSING WAS WAY MORE BENEFICIAL FOR ME THAN I INITIALLY THOUGHT. CAN YOU DO ANY NEW THING?”
Mira said “Let me check”. She expanded back to her full size and focused on the feeling she had when she was getting blessed. She felt the part of her that was lightning and grasped it. She pulled all the lightning out and her body went alight with white lightning. Her fur that was red turned white, her skin turned grey, her figure gained some more muscle and her height increased a bit.
Her claws and teeth that arced with black plasma and her red eyes remained the same. Funmi said “IT HAS MORE BIOLOGICAL EFFECTS THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD. I’M JUST GETTING SURPRISES TODAY. I HAVE SOME NEW TRICKS TOO”
Funmi turned her figure back to white lightning but a change happened. Her figure morphed and became more muscular looking even though it she was just lightning and two concentric circles of white lightning formed behind her covering just the area of her back. 3 white lightning symbols formed in the space between the circles forming a triangle of text within the circular space.

Mira’s eyes widened as she said “Wow what is this?” Funmi said “YOU THOUGHT THAT WAS MY FINAL FORM? YOU FOOL, I’VE GONE SUPER SAIYAN BABY!” Mira said “Wow, so what do those symbols mean?”
Funmi pointed to the symbol on the upper left side and said with a psychic message 'This is the evolution of Karma is a bitch called Karma is a bitch made of lightning. Using it, I can absorb any form of energy and turn it to lightning and store it for later use'.
Mira shook her head in disgrace and said “Your skills really deserve someone that can give them a better name, you don’t deserve them”. Funmi said in surprise 'How can you say that it’s a great name, you can’t forget it easily and it describes what it does'. Mira said “Why don’t you call it Divine Retribution or something along those lines? It’s fancier and still says what the skill does with 5 less words”.
Funmi thought about it for a while before saying 'That’s a good name but I have a better one that really captures the essence of the skill while being artsy do you want to hear it' Mira nodded and Funmi said 'Nefarious Thunder Retribution'.
Mira said “Can’t you just call it Thunder Retribution?” Funmi said 'No because it abbreviates to NTR which is the essence of what happens to the person who is subjected to this skill'.
Mira said “What is NTR?” Funmi looked at her dumbfounded and said 'Wow being a sex slave must have really sucked'. Mira nodded and Funmi pointed at the upper right symbol and said 'This one allows me to mark anything I touch and strike it down with lightning or zap to where it is without missing. I didn’t have it before so I have to make a new name. I’ll call it Blackmail, Destroyer or Sentry Mark'. She looked at Mira expectantly, waiting for her to challenge the name.
Mira looked at her with an I-know-your-bullshit expression and said “It can be abbreviated to BDSM right?” Funmi was shocked and said 'You know that?' Mira nodded and said “It was one of the things some of my costumers asked for”.
Funmi said Oh... I get it'. She pointed at the down-center symbol said “This one allows me to create explosive lightning. It might not seem like much but lightning doesn’t explode since it always flows so it’s a bit weird that I got this”.
Mira interrupted Funmi and said “Maybe you got it from me? I can create diamonds that explode with my energy. I think you got some of that by blessing me, although you can only know after testing it on other people”.
Funmi said 'You did make stuff like that when you were fighting Chenzira, it’s an evolution of one of your skills right?' Mira nodded and Funmi said 'Ok I give you the right to name the skill. Please give it a name with connections to a profane word, something cursed or something people don’t like so-'
Mira didn’t let Funmi finish and said "I’ll call it Storm-Nova". Funmi looked at her with a confused face that demanded an explanation and Mira said “It doesn’t have a profane connection so stop searching for any. Nova is the name of a previous form of my skill that dealt only with explosions. Your symbol does the same just with lightning”. Funmi sighed and said 'If you want something done right you have to do it yourself. I should have just named the skill'. Mira smiled and asked “What would you have named it?” Funmi said 'Nuclear Thunder'.
Mira was shocked and said “That’s… actually good, let’s use that name it that instead”. Funmi smiled and said 'Thank you' although she mischievously thought ‘The abbreviation is NUT though. Foolish girl! You can never out smart me!’
Mira sensed her mischievous intent and looked back at her with suspicion but Funmi revealed nothing, keeping a straight face. The girls spent the remainder of the day testing their new abilities.
