Mira noticed the swiftly escaping Yeti, she sensed its fear, and she stretched her open palm toward it. A rope made of diamond swiftly shot out of her palm and swiftly approached the Yeti’s back.
The Yeti recognized the diamond; it was the thing it had broken earlier. It adjusted its position a bit and swung its arm backwards at the approaching rope. Not only did the diamond rope not break this time, it coiled on its arm that was covered in compressed snow and Mira used it to yank the Yeti toward herself.
Mira sent a psychic message saying ‘I won’t kill you’ and pulled the Yeti toward her other arm that was pulled back for a punch. The arm that was pulled back was crystalline as it had merged with Mira’s diamond. The Yeti sensed a great amount of danger again and tried to stop itself by making ice platforms. But they broke; its struggle wasn’t able to save it from the overwhelming strength that gripped it. Sensing the foreboding from the Yeti’s mind, Mira said ‘Let’s box!’ and threw her punch.
The diamond on the elbow of her arm exploded, shooting out a stream of white light, propelling her fist downwards into the ribs of the Yeti below her.
“THOOOOM!!!!”
The Yeti was rocketed toward the ground by the punch. Its body hit the ground in the blink of an eye and created a crater after which its body bounced up and forward toward the battle field of its children. The bounce was a result of the snow covering its body, it was cushioning the impact.
It bounced again and again making craters as Mira flew after it. There was a depression in the side of its chest that spewed silver blood and had some of the broken bones of its ribs poking out of its fur. The snow in that area was completely gone and silver blood was flowing out of its mouth and nose as it bounced.
Mira watched in surprise as the snow on its body congregated on the wound. The wound was soon healed back to normal as the pile of snow on it was expended. Mira smiled as she thought ‘Truly the perfect punching bag’.
She fused her whole body with her diamonds, turning her red skin crystalline, making it reassemble a ruby with low purity. She accelerated toward the Yeti as a stream of white energy shot from her back and foot. She modified her direction of flight and ascended upward in an arc.
When the Yeti bounced up again with its back arced upward, it was close to the back of its army of monsters. Mira front flipped as she sharply descended in an arc, assisted by powerful explosions of air and the force of her force field. As soon as she was right above the Yeti’s back Mira raised one of her legs and
“BAAM!!!!!”
The ascending Yeti was swiftly returned to the ground with its back arcing downward, the snow on its back nowhere in sight and its arms and its legs flailing upwards as a result of Mira’s diamond hammer kick.
“BOOM!!!”
It slammed down on the ground, rocking the earth, and creating a deep and wide crater. Its spine, ribs and hip bone were shattered as a result of the attack and silver blood gushed from its mouth, nose and back.
Soon enough, snow covered its body, penetrating the wounds and expending their self to heal its body back to health. This time there was only little snow left; it could only cover patches of its body. The snow and ice in the environment gravitated towards the body of the Yeti trying to fill up the missing snow and ice on its body.
Mira floated in the air as the monsters of both armies looked at her. The Yeti slowly got up after a while but it stood in place kept its head down in surrender to Mira. Its monster army and children surrendered also after seeing this.

Mira returned to Jake who was freeing the Yeti children from the roots of the Tree of Eternity that stood behind him. He said “If all the monsters keep surrendering there’ll be no way for us to get en-code”. Mira smiled and said “Just give me this one. We’ll wipe out the next army we face”.
Jake nodded and said “With how powerful you are I might choose to evolve before Charlotte wakes up”. Mira said “I think its better you wait. There are still stronger monsters in America alone. We still have ways to go”. Jake shrugged and went to organize the retreat of the army.

Wolfy, the Lycanthrope that was previously the advisor of the Azard king, looked at the steaming red giant with awe as she floated above the Yeti that had its head bowed. His confusion deepened as he wondered why this powerful giant was now working for the humans and vampires.
He thought ‘If only I had known they had this giant. I would have worked with them to defeat the Azard instead! I would have had a better position than just a soldier. Where were they hiding such a powerful monster?’
Wolfy, as the people of Night City called it, had a very poor understanding of humans. The more he lived with them the more he was amazed, he wanted more than anything to be a human.
“Wolfy!” a voice called, it was the voice of a man that Wolfy feared greatly. The man could steal the time from people, there was no way to resist it once it started happening. Even if one escaped the damage would still be irreversible. Wolfy trembled a little and answered “Yes Jake” as the man approached.
Jake smiled and said “Your English is getting better. Keep it up! I need you to tell the new monsters how we operate around here. They are going to stay here with you, Swan, Flower, Jerry and Mira to be educated”
Wolfy nodded his head respectfully; a gesture it learnt meant affirmation. He looked at Jake in confusion before saying “Who is this Mira?” The Humans and Vampires had given the leaders of intelligent monsters different names. Swan was a Tornado Pterodactyl, Flower was a Treant, Jerry was a Weremole.
Some monsters were not intelligent enough to submit to Night City after they killed the Azard king. These monsters also didn’t submit to the City even after they sent messages to them requesting their surrender.
This made Night City to mobilize their forces to attack the territories of the monsters and force them into submission by threatening their lives. Night City wiped out some of the monsters and left the rest as live stock to be killed for en-code and Ranks when the people became stronger.
Night City did not judge worth by destructive power but by intelligence and contribution. If a monster race proved to be useful and versatile they would be kept alive and nurtured, if not they would be exterminated or kept as bags of en-code and achievements for their people.
Jake was confused for a while at Wolfy’s question before showing a look of realization. He pointed to the floating red giant that was currently patting the Yeti on the head and said “That’s Mira, she wasn’t around when we brought you guys in so update her if she needs to know anything. I don’t believe I have to tell you to obey her”. Wolfy nodded and Jake walked away.
Wolfy looked at the floating giant in awe. He was thinking of how he could get into her good graces.
