6:30pm, Jade had walked a few kilometers before he saw a barricade, around the barricade two trucks were parked behind it along with 5 men.
Jade slowed down to a normal walking pace when he saw them, he didn’t want to alarm them, when he came so close that they saw him, he waved his hands, signaling that he came in peace. The IP identified them as 'Rank 1 Human' when he got close to them.

Samad saw a strange person coming towards he and his friend’s assigned post, the person was wearing a loin cloth and a vest that sparked, making it look like it was made from crystal fur, he was also dragging a giant bag made of the same material.
One would expect Samad to be appalled by the man dragging a bag as large as a bus but the moment he took note of the man’s peculiarities; he smiled and said to his friends “Jackpot, the boss is going to reward us for finding such a weird person”
His friends looked at him, smiles with smiles on their faces as they got up to receive the new comer. “Hello, good job making it here, beyond this barricade is a sanctuary for refuges. What is your name and where are you from?” Samad asked as politely as possible, but when he got a closer look at the man’s face he found that he recognized him.
He was a terrorist that had killed and tortured many families and had done so many atrocious acts that the United Nations had to subdue him. Samad immediately backed up and pointed his gun at him saying “put your bag down and your hands in the air”
…
Jade looked at the gun that was pointed at him; a gunpowder weapon. Two days ago he would have been alert, when these kind of people who seemed to have had experience using a gun pointed one at him, but now he just felt numb.
‘I can’t meet anybody without them raising their guard as high as the heavens, I need to read the article that was written about me’ he thought as he sighed and said “I have no problems with you people, I just want to keep travelling, I’ll avoid your sanctuary”
Samad responded by shooting him. The things he’d read and watched about this man made him fear for his family. ‘Liar, I’m sure he’ll just find a way to enter the sanctuary and start killing people’ Samad thought as he shot his gun.

The bullet flew forward in a flash, but in Jade’s eyes it was like a stone that had been thrown in water; not too fast and not too slow, Jade caught the bullet and threw it to the ground.
Samad’s eyes widened when he saw what Jade did. He looked back to his friends who had the same expression of shock, even then they still emptied their clips at Jade, in an effort to deny the reality of what was happening and because it was the best they could do.
Jade caught all the bullets that were shot at him and threw them on the ground and said “Are you satisfied now? I’ll be moving on then”. Samad and his colleagues entered the two trucks after finishing their bullets and drove off toward the sanctuary.
He could still see the truck in the distance. He sighed and thought ‘Why is the truck headed to the same place I’m going?’ he pondered for a moment ‘I’m going toward my base where my weapons are, their sanctuary is built around the same location.
In order to secure such safety they would need weapons that aren’t being used by people so the powerful monsters won’t be there on the first day, my base has strong weapons but is unguarded so monsters won’t have attacked it on the first day, someone could have found the weapons by accident and shared them with people to create a secure area... SHIT!!! MY BASE!!!!’ Jade’s face was filled with fear and impatience.
…
The moment Samad entered the truck he took the radio transponder and contacted the sanctuary security. “HELLO!!” he said, “Hello” the voice over the transponder said, “YOU KNOW THE TERRORIST THAT WAS ALL OVER THE NEWS WHEN HE WAS ARRESTED?” Samad jogged his memory “JADE THE STEALER OF MEN, THAT WAS HIS NAME, HE IS HERE. OUR GUNS DON’T WORK, I DON’T KNOW WHY, BUT HE’S COMING TO THE SANCTUARY” Samad shouted over the device.
The person on the other side was shocked speechless and curtly said “I’ll pass on the message” and cut the connection. The person on the other side misunderstood a part of the message; he thought the phrase ‘our guns don’t work’ meant that their guns malfunctioned.
Hence he reported to his superior that an armed terrorist was making his way to the sanctuary. When his superior heard the name of the terrorist he shivered and ordered 12 of his soldiers armed with new gen weapons respond to the threat.
…
The moment Jade made the realization; he filled his legs, back, lungs and abs with energy and ran toward his base, breaking the sound barrier. In 4 seconds he had passed Samad, who began trying to contact his base again.
Jade saw his base after running for 19 seconds and jumped towards it, it was under an abandoned warehouse in an industrial area. While he was in the air he saw that the area he had reached had people in it.
He landed inside the warehouse, after breaking through the roof, and looked around, finding it untouched; no footprints, no broken parts, nothing. ‘Thank God’ he thought before heading to the secret entrance of his base.
