With the options before him Jade thought ‘Instinctual or Profound. Instinctual will allow me to control space more naturally. Profound will allow me control space more ingeniously… I pick… Profound, the Space Apprentice title’.
His IP said ‘Done’.
The knowledge poured into Jade’s mind and he understood the basic concepts of Dimension, Position, State Space and Void became more vivid to Jade. When the whole process was done, Jade thought ‘These missions are cheats’.
His IP continued ‘You have gotten the title’
[Space Commander: You have performed a feat that is achievable with Intermediate space manipulation.
You get Intermediate Space Forging manual volume 2/24]
[Space Programmer: You have performed a feat that is achievable with Advanced space manipulation.
You get Advanced Space Forging manual volume 1/10]
When Jade saw this he smiled and said ‘That’s what I’m talking about! Now the Dread-Smith glyph’. Jade tapped into the Dread-Smith glyph, knowledge was jumbled in his head but it did nothing. Jade opened his eyes as he now knew what he was missing.
He teleported Hak to his hand and looked at the weapon. Now that he saw it after evolving and gaining all the basic knowledge, it looked simple. Like a club made by a caveman, it could be harmful but it was also not the hardest thing to make or break. He activated the Dread-Smith glyph with the weapon in his hands and he got tons of ideas on how to improve it and make it generally more deadly.
He activated his Cosmic-Soul glyph alongside the Dread-Smith glyph and the changes he idealized started becoming a reality. The weapon was changed in real time, patterns of white light formed on the weapon and the shape changed. The blade curved a little to the back as well as the handle. Finally a symbol of a closed vertical eye was formed out of the white lines on the blade.
When the changes were done Jade was afraid to swing the weapon. His hand remained perfectly still as he realized ‘Everything is too fragile compared to the things I can create now. Again, isn’t this too much power? How many people became Celestial, are all of them this powerful? We could destroy the planet if we all tried!’.
Jade teleported the glaive back to his storage and thought ‘Now the Beyond-Death glyph’. He tried to channel the glyph but that was when he realized that he was always constantly channeling it. It didn’t just allow him to have an out of body experience, it allowed also have a inside body experience. Jade realized that his soul could latch on to any matter and call it a body.
Jade’s eyes widened as an idea came to him. He now knew what he would make for the duel’s second round ‘Sentient Weapons’.
…
12:00 AM the next day, a worldwide psychic announcement was made by Avatari using her Angel feathers.
‘Hello World!
This is not your IP speaking!
I’m Avatari a previous human.
I live in India and I would like for anyone who is willing to corporate together for the next event to meet at Hawaii. The location and how to get there from your current location will be given to you.
Do not worry if you can’t make it to the meeting since it will be broadcasted. Do note that not attending also means you will not be able to give your own opinions. I know it might seem discriminatory but this just shows the level of seriousness or power you need to have to get a voice in this meeting.
Both ex-humans and monsters are allowed; anyone regardless of race, grade or rank is accepted, only your disposition towards working together matters. The meeting will happening in a month, 30 days time, at Twelve noon.
Bye’
In Nigeria, a week after the time of Avatari’s announcement
Mira had managed to find another conflict to put herself in.
This time though the enemy was much tougher than Abdul.
2 days before the announcement of the meeting before Jade finished evolving, a group of people were riding pegasi toward Nigeria. The person at the forefront of the group was riding an eight legged horse, Slepnir that ran on the air.
All the people in the group were women and as soon as they came to the shores of Lagos a portal opened up and Lara walked through it causing them to halt. Emeka and Duni also came through the portal. Emeka looked the same while Duni had lost his tattoos. The IP’s of the meta-humans told them the race of the people before them.
The woman at the forefront was an [Asgardian (Odin) (War) (Death)]. She looked like any normal person except her presence gave off an inhumanly holy and pure aura making her seem like a being that should be worshipped, adored and sacrificed to and that everyone who wasn’t her was a piece of shit that wasn’t worthy of her stepping on.
The 8 women that followed her were all [Valkyries] with different names attached to the race. They also looked like normal people but gave off the same inhumanly holy and pure aura only to a lesser extent. They were all covered in black metal armor with different red drawings placed seemingly randomly on each person’s armor such that they all looked different from each other because of it.
Lara said “Who are you and why have you come to my territory?” Exactly as she did for Mira.
The woman at the lead of the group said with an English accent “I am searching for someone; he goes by the name of Jade”. Lara’s face turned serious and she said “You want revenge?” The woman nodded and Lara said “What is your name?” She answered “I’m Camille”.
