Chapter 39: Samira’s New Drip and Departure

Jade and Samira went back to the former Banu city, Jade brought out a new set of weapons and armor for Samira from his bracelet.

The gear consisted of a pink body suit made from the skin of a Rank 5 predator, a black and blue full body armor set made from parts of a Rank 5 mineral triceratops’ exoskeleton, two axes; one black, made from the horns of the Rank 5 mineral triceratops, Havoc Night, and the other white, made from the teeth of a Rank 5 mineral cobra’s fangs, Tranquil Day, a green hoody made from the Rank 5 mineral cobra’s hood, a full face mask made from a Rank 5 Sublime Chimera’s shell and survival membrane, and green crystal like throwing knives made from the Rank 5 Sublime Chimera’s spikes.

Jade had discovered while making weapons from monster parts that, making a good weapon and armor set, a weapon and armor set that synergized with each other, from different monster parts was exponentially harder than making them from parts of the same monster.

The aura’s or energy capabilities of various monsters usually never complemented each other, they often worked against each other and when they did complement each other the auras or energies from the two monster parts always repelled each other and if the monster parts weren’t from monsters of the same Rank, the parts from the monster with the higher Rank would suppress the abilities of the parts from the lower Rank monster.

So when making Samira’s armor set he used parts of the same monster, mineral triceratops, in the most part, this meant that the aura that was previously only generated from the weapon could be generated from the armor and infused into the weapon, allowing her to generate a great amount of the same type of aura in a short amount of time.

The axe made of mineral cobra’s fang had no aura capabilities but it had a special ability, which allowed it create a special acidic poison that proliferated by consuming matter with its corrosive properties.

The mineral triceratops had blue and yellow aura capabilities. The chimera parts had no aura abilities either, but they were generally harder than the parts of monsters of the same species and the survival membrane of the chimera allowed it to filter out poison, radiation and such from the air.

The predator skin wasn’t very defensive but it gave great flexibility while still maintaining good defensive properties.

Jade said “The gear you were using was made from Rank 3 monsters, this one is made from mostly Rank 5 monsters; it’s my investment in your services. I advice that you were the helmet a lot of time, if not all the time, although I was the one doing the killing people still saw you so they might try to get you when they don’t find me. I’ll send you to a city that I’ve been to, you can start your life there”

Jade brought out a sheathed katana, its sheath was a mixture of green and yellow while its handle was black and green, and the blade was made of a yellow metal.

It was Jade’s success at combining monster parts from different monsters of different Ranks, it was a draw sword. The two monsters used to create it are Rank 5 aura caterpillar and a Rank 6 lightening wasp. He used the caterpillar’s exoskeleton and the wasp’s sting to make the sword.

The white aura from the caterpillar repels is greatly repelled by the electricity generated by the wasp so when the sword is activated in its sheath, with the sheath locked, it generates a ton of potential and electrical energy.

Since the lightening wasp is a higher Rank than the caterpillar the white aura is forced to take the properties of lightening. When the sheath is unlocked, which happens after a certain amount of energy has been built, a lightening attributed white aura swift sword strike can be performed with devastating power and speed.

He told Samira the details of her weapons and the katana after which he said “I need you to find out the price of this sword, it’s too powerful for you now but you can keep it if you want, I just need to know it’s price, from when you get to the city to when you return here, I want to know how the price changes. For now you can test the weapons”

This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.

Samira nodded and received the gear, while the Rank 5 gear had considerable weight the sword alone was far heavier than all of them combined, Samira stumbled when she held it. ‘Wow, so this is Rank 6 huh, it’s so heavy; it reminds me of when I carried a bag of rice when I was human’.

Jade showed her how to use her weapons. The boots of her armor could release a yellow aura explosion, which gave instant high-speed mobility as well as aerial mobility if used well.

The armor had a special property; apart from generating blue aura, it made attacks slip when they hit it, although if the attack was powerful enough it would not be able to make it slip.

Havoc Day could generate flying blue aura slashes. It had a special skill called Great Aura Slash that creates a very powerful, large and fast aura slash from blue and yellow aura. The skill required time to charge but the result was worth it.

The throwing knives were of two kinds: the normal knives and the special explosive knives that could be triggered with a psychic switch.

She got a room and wore the body suit and the full body armor, she put the two axes in their sheath that was on the armor belt same to the pouch for the throwing knives, she wore the mask under the helmet as they were made to go together, the helmet had the eye holes covered with a black glass, that was made from the chimera’s body parts, to allow vision.

She hung the hoody on her shoulders and came out of the room, Jade seeing her said in a French accent “Darling, you look magnifique. You must tell me who your fashion designer is”. Samira laughed when she heard him.

Jade asked “What are your body’s stats?” Samira checked:

She looked at Jade, smirked and said “If you tell me what race you are I’ll tell you my stats”. Jade saw this coming, he had trained her to always keep information about herself secret even from people she trusted and now that he wasn’t training her anymore she could hide information from him.

He weighed the pros and cons and decided to make an illogical decision, Jade replied "I'm a Primordial Human, so what were your stats?"

Samira was shocked silent; Jade had never revealed more than he needed to throughout the training. He didn't give her space manipulation equipment, the soul (Although she didn't know he had such information) and didn’t teach her how to make weapons.

She told him what her stats were, and when she finished she realized that she had exchanged meaningful information for a vague one; she didn't know what a Primordial Human was she asked her IP 'What's a Primordial Human?' the IP responded 'There is currently no information on that race'.

She realized 'I messed up' Jade seeing her down cast face chuckled and said "Over time, you'll realize how useful such vague information could be".

Jade teleported with her to a location close to the sanctuary and said "Bye, I look forward to meeting you again" with a warm smile. Samira's eyes watered, she remembered how mundane her life was 2 months ago and how Jade's arrival had changed all that, 'He might be annoying but he's just like Malik said; there are many good people even great ones. I get that now'

She quickly wiped a tear that left her eye; she didn't want Jade to make fun of her for crying, but unlike her expectations Jade didn't say anything he just hugged her, which made her sob more and she said "Thanks for all the help. I'll miss you"

Jade let go of her, looked her in the eye and pushed her head back with two of his fingers; his middle finger and his index finger, after which he said "Bye now" and teleported away, leaving Samira wondering what the gesture meant.
