More Rank 7 Sentient Magmas came with the Rank 8 Elemental: Sentient Comets as Jade proceeded to the center of the territory of the Elementals. The Sentient Comets were just like the Sentient Magmas except that they had 5 cores and rocky bodies with lava veins on them and were a little bigger than the Magmas.
The Sentient Comets were as their name described, fast and large, they were twice the size of the Magmas and they flew very fast while shooting streams of white super heated rock plasma at Jade from the single large hole in their bodies. The beams were blocked by Jade’s shield generators.
Jade was purposely not using teleport to dodge because monster at high Ranks were way smarter than their lower Ranked counterparts; they learnt quickly and adjusted to teleportation if they knew about it. So it was important to hide ones cards and give the monsters a false hope of victory or else the monsters would be able to come up with a good plan of attack and sometimes, if they felt they couldn’t win they would runaway.
They entered Jade’s energy zone and were suppressed by it even though they had larger energy zones than the Magmas. They tried to back out when they realized that they couldn’t resist his influence but they were blasted with Frost Blast Gungnirs before they could escape.
Jade killed 456 more Magmas and 309 Comets. The Rank 9 and 10 Elementals flew toward and stayed outside his energy zone. Jade was a little nervous; a month ago these Rank 10s were boss monsters to him and now he was facing 8 of them along with 43 Rank 9s. The Rank 9 Elemental: Sentient Volcanoes and Rank 10 Elemental: Sentient Mountains flew toward him.
Like the previous Rank 7 and 8 Elementals they resembled spheres, the Sentient Volcanoes and Mountains had 5 cores and they were just as big as the Comets, they looked to be made of a weird orange metal, they shot out plasma beams from the many holes that surrounded their body at Jade.
Jade then noticed the difference between the Mountains and the Volcanoes; the Mountains could control gravity with way more finesse than the Volcanoes as they used their gravity fields to twist the plasma beams that came out of the holes that were not facing Jade and made them bend toward Jade and attack him from difficult angles.
Jade was shocked as he flew in every direction to dodge the beams of the Elementals while trying to work a solution; the Mountains and Volcanoes were shooting at him even though he hadn’t entered their energy zones. He thought ‘How are they sensing me when I’m outside their energy zone? Do they have eyes? Could it be? These guys are sensing me through their gravity field? That has to be it, unless they have a way of tracing me without me discovering it. Regardless I still have to find a way to kill them.
Unlike the Rank 7 and 8 their long range attacks are very fast, numerous and effective; it will cost me a lot of energy to block them. They’re already used to my energy zone constriction strategy; they obviously won’t get into my energy zone… that’s good cause it would suck to fight them up close and because I doubt that I can constrict the Rank 10s’ energy zones and constricting the Rank 9s’ energy zones would be a piece of work, it might even be impossible. They will be able to destroy the Gungnirs before I can aim properly and what’s to say they wouldn’t be able to redirect the spears with their gravity field. I’m pretty sure that if anything gets close to them they will be able to control it the same way they control their beams’

Jade smiled and thought ‘Perfect, I still have other long range options’. Jade activated Ouki and gave a mental order to the weapon ‘Golden Missiles’. The glaive was covered with a flaming golden aura and Jade rapidly thrust Ouki at the Elementals in the distance.
What seemed to be missiles made of a very bright golden aura swiftly flew toward the Elementals from Ouki’s blade. Aura could not be controlled by their gravity field since it wasn’t matter. The Elementals didn’t even try to dodge as the missiles struck them and exploded, releasing bright golden aura on the Elementals they landed on.
The golden aura burned like fire as it proliferated by consuming the atomic bonds that made up the rocky bodies of the Elementals and caused explosions intermittently. After some seconds the Elementals stopped firing plasma beams at Jade; the golden aura was more troublesome than they had anticipated.
The Elementals naturally didn’t care for attacks that didn’t reach their core. They solution to problems like the golden aura that proliferated was to lose the parts of their bodies that had been affected by the aura and generate new rocks and magma for their body with their cores.
But the golden aura wasn’t just doing direct damage. It was a spectrum aura texture so it was more complex than it appeared. And Jade had used it because he knew it would be a pain in the ass for the Elementals. The golden aura was converting all the energy in the bodies of the Elementals to golden aura. Some of their cores had being completely infected and filled with aura during Jade’s strike and were now out of the Elemental’s control.
The Mountains sent a psychic signal to the Conqueror of the horde. Jade smiled when he saw the direction in which the message was sent and he thought ‘I didn’t sense it at all; the maker of this horde must be very good at hiding’. The psychic message was directed at the Conqueror that was in the ground.
As the ground shook the monster Jade hadn’t noticed came rising from the ground. Jade noticed why he never realized the monster’s presence; it had compressed its energy domain to remain hidden and since it was a very irregular creature; no specific body temperature, heart beat or any moving organ, the Elemental was equal to a piece of rock with an energy zone from its cores… well a very big piece of rock.
The buildings morphed and became a part of the monster and it rose up floating in the air dwarfing the Rank 10 Mountains and Rank 9 Volcanoes; it’s body was as high as a skyscraper and it was just as wide. The IP denoted it as a [Rank 11 Elemental: Sentient Technology Mountain]. The monster was a floating sphere made of a mish mash of all sorts of rocks and materials. It had 7 cores and it split its body into 7 parts. Each part compressed until they were as large as a Rank 10 Sentient Mountains covered with holes where Jade could only assume plasma would emit from.
With the appearance of the Rank 11 the Mountains and Volcanoes discarded the cores that had been infected by the aura. The Elementals would need time to regenerate the cores they lost but it was better than dying.
The Technology Mountain sent a psychic message to Jade saying ‘Why are you disturbing me, leave now and I won’t give chase’ in an archaic tone. Jade was stunned when he heard the message and sent his own saying ‘You can talk? This is next level! How is it that you’re so smart?’
Jade could send psychic messages with his technology but the Mountain could do that on its own. The mountain replied ‘LEAVE!’ Jade replied ‘NO’. Then two large rock slabs larger than the Technology Mountain rose from the ground and they slammed together where Jade was.
Jade flew away, dodging the slabs, and headed toward the Technology Mountain. He energized Ouki and it lit up with golden aura and the aura extended into an aura blade and teleported toward one of the bodies of the Mountain and thrust. The aura blade pierced through the rock while creating explosion and hit its core, fully infecting it with golden aura.
The Technology Mountain was not expecting its enemy to appear out of nowhere so it reacted a little late. But as it sensed one of its cores get destroyed as the golden aura seeped into it, it had to accept the reality; even though it’s IP told it Jade was a ‘Rank 2 Fried Chicken’ he was a great threat.
