Playing with two space rings, their design elegant, Alexander was currently smiling.
'As expected of two peak Immortal Sky Realm cultivators! More than fifty World Seeds! Isn't that enough to reach the Immortal Sky Realm's peak? Hahaha! To think they even hoped to breakthrough the Greater Existence Realm with only this much... Truly daydreaming!'
While fifty was an extremely high amount for the current Alexander, he also knew that the space rings' owners were actually absolute masters within the entire Southern Demonic Continent. As for other continents, only the Central Heart Continent would consider these two as only strong.
After all, two half-step Greater Existence Realm powerhouses would be respected everywhere within the Celestial Realm.
However, for them to fall against Alexander's half-step second stage Immortal Sky Realm cultivation base... It would be shocking no matter the place.
But for Alexander, such a feat would be considered rare at most. It made perfect sense, how could the Alexander of now be compared to the Alexander forty-three million years ago? Before, fighting above his own realm would be luck dependent, but now...
Now Alexander was a battle hardened veteran, having even fought a battle against a chosen Overlord for a million years straight, without stop, without breaks, without mercy.
So fighting two old, withering men lacking basic mentality holding onto their degrading battle instincts was not a difficult task.
If these two had been a single minor realm below, would have Alexander even struggled? Maybe.
And so, this same Alexander had only one plan formed.
To cultivate!
Journeying across the Celestial Realm's beautiful lands, Alexander flew, marched and relaxed all the while travelling toward the Central Heart Continent.
But he still had one last stop on his schedule.
Flying high above, Alexander stopped a small distance from his limits.
Taking out a shining, green crystal, he held the World Seed firmly.
'You better not tell me I'm still not strong enough!' Sending a powerful palm print high into the sky, Alexander cracked its boundary, its shattered fragments falling onto his lap.
The cross-legged silver haired man cultivating, Alexander first began by absorbing the sky's fragments inside his internal world, this time with unmatched success.
'Phew~, thought it might not work.'
The fragments now floating inside his internal world, Alexander forced them to fuse with his internal world's own sky.
But these fragments would not be refined without a fight.
Shaking from their repulsive power, Alexander felt blood running down his nose and lips.
His internal world creaking, he could barely contain the wild energies.
'Annoying!' Snorting, he could only wait it out, blood dripping onto his white robes.
'Seriously? I just washed those!' Triggered as he still needed to clean his other robes, he felt lucky they each had incredible regenerative powers.
And so time passed.
The wheel of time without halt, more than a century had elapsed. The still Alexander a true statue, a bird's nest had already taken shape on top his head.
The birds singing, they suddenly felt a tremor.
His body drenched in his own blood, the smell uncomfortable, Alexander exhaled some hot, rotting air.
Inhaling this odor, the bird's nest on his head squirmed. A few moments later, a group of small Cloud Beast birds flew away in disgust.
Wiping the top of his head, the floating Alexander slapped the nest far away.
'Good, using these three World Seeds I managed to reach the second stage's peak.' Taking out another nine World Seeds, Alexander was not stopping anytime soon, as he did not have a reason to. Immediately attempting a breakthrough from the Sky Assimilating Stage to the Cloud Ruling Stage.
'My Divine Sense is 550 meters now... Will it go even higher?'
Closing his eyes, he attempted to feel the clouds.
'Did they always have such conflicting energies?'
Detecting multiple different energies, all extremely powerful, Alexander did not back down.
Absorbing the World Seeds' power, his entire body inhaled, from his nose, mouth, pores and else, all sucking in the nearby clouds.
The calm winds suddenly screaming in madness, in the middle of the sky, Alexander ignored the change, only focused on his cultivation.
It was evident to him that such a task would take him many years, the clouds each giants among the empty sky. Even a single cloud would be larger than an entire galaxy, this was their true domineering appearances.
After another century had passed, he had absorbed multiple giant clouds within his internal world.
The clouds clearly smaller than outside, they were easily refined.
This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
After thirty years, these same clouds fused with his internal world, becoming its new clouds.
Once a total of 270 years went by, Alexander could now rule the clouds, his cultivation already to the third stage's peak.
Clenching his fist, he opened his eyes for a moment, before closing them once again.
'Now for the Sky Metamorphosis Stage!' His cross-legged, floating body, flying higher than ever, Alexander did not need his eyes to feel the difference.
Cold and unwelcoming, the sky, when one was so high, turned malicious, or more so defensive.
Preparing himself steadily, Alexander sent another full powered palm strike high above, but also everywhere around.
The space all around him warping into a giant void sphere surrounding him, he felt lonely in the middle of space.
The lonely void covering his peerless vision, he saw this void injury heal at a significant speed. The fabric of space from the Celestial Realm incomparable to the Universes' space fabric, it only took it a few moments to heal completely.
The shattered sky crying, Alexander used Celestial Qi tendrils to capture the fragments before assimilating them all at once.
Twenty-seven World Seeds withered beside him, he soon replaced his entire internal world's sky with the fragments he conquered. Already a peak Immortal Sky Realm master after a few centuries of cultivation, he would not stop so soon. The sky repaired long ago, Alexander sent another palm in front.
The sky destroyed once again, he used his newfound power to catch the fragments, only extending his hand forward for them to be controlled.
Circulating his [Heaven's Fall], Alexander fused the fragments with his Celestial Qi and its circulation path.
Comprehending the Heavenly Laws with ease, his gravitational understanding had long since reached a newfound height.
One week later, his Celestial Qi had metamorphosed, its purity unmatched anywhere.
His own Celestial Qi now carrying the sky's properties, Alexander had become the new sky.
But this was still too little for his greed.
'Now... I only have seven World Seeds left... and I need 243 for the next stage...' Pursing his lips, he stood up mid-air.
'Shouldn't be a problem once I reach the Central Heart Continent.'
Releasing his Divine Sense fully, Alexander could tell its immense increase in radius.
Prior to this, his Divine Sense was 550 meters, but now... it seemed to have increased tenfold, grasping the 5 500 meters mark.
'Did my own Divine Sense increase as well? Shouldn't it be 5050 meters? Maybe a bit more, but still...' Not complaining, merely stating his awe, he immediately set out.
Flying over a mountain range, Alexander stopped.
Having now broken through the Immortal Sky Realm's peak, he wanted to gauge his strength with better accuracy.
"Hmph!" Harrumphing aloud, his arm blurred, extending in a fraction of a second, the space all around depressed.
His palm struck the air, and ensuing were powerful shockwaves, as his casual move shook the earth and dimmed the Heavens.
Raising a brow, Alexander witnessed a somewhat unexpected ending.
'Well I suppose that this realm's name is well deserved!' Resuming his flight, he did not spare another glance to the now chaotic mountain range. His simple thrust enough to reduce multiple mountains to rubbles.
The journey necessary to reach the Central Heart Continent was massive, and even with his insanely high cultivation base, Alexander still felt its length.
'I need to pass through half of the Demonic Land Region and then go over the Valgrand Region. And that's only to graze the Central Heart Continent...'
Following his updated map, Alexander estimated this travel to take years at least. Not only so, but even after surpassing half of the Southern Demonic Continent he would only reach the edge of the Central Heart continent. Hs current destination was the edge between the two continents, the Rogue Territory.
Now a peerless expert within the entire Southern Demonic Continent, Alexander decided to take it easy, not bothering with concealment and trickery when he clearly did not need to.
Therefore he did not hesitate to explore on the side, a small but significant break from his relentless thirst for power.
Already an entire month into travelling, Alexander had met his first stop.
Raising his eyes to meet a giant structure covering the sky, casting a shadow down to entire mountain ranges, Alexander's body started to float.
Raising himself higher continuously, he soon attained his targeted altitude.
'The aura it emanates is pretty docile.' Feeling a peak Blooming Lotus Realm aura from the floating structure, he did not ignore it this time.
Advancing, Alexander approached the giant floating island, its waterfalls ending mid-air. Soon, he landed with grace upon its grassy terrain.
Looking ahead, he first noticed a giant pale yellow castle standing tall amongst the peaceful scenery.
Walking without stop, Alexander passed by miniature plains and short greenery. His feet feeling the smooth surface of a stone bridge going over a small pond, Alexander appreciated its gentle touch.
Suddenly, a rainbow popped out of nowhere, showering the world with beauty.
'Someone was clearly sick with the world below... Not that I mind.' Already analyzing the enchanting floating island and its mysteries, Alexander could theorize about the owner's beliefs.
Closing in on the castle, meeting nothing but peace, Alexander arrived mere moments later, as if a dream, always ending faster than expected.
His figure stopping, he extended his right hand, touching a tall red door.
Under the castle's pale arch, one of its red doors was pushed open by Alexander.
Creaking under its rusty insides, it made way without much trouble. Now separated from the other one, the red door exhibited its thickness, two palms wide side by side.
Behind their protection, nothing but darkness, the sky's illumination barely enough to showcase a meter or so of black and white tiles inside the castle.
Entering without notice, Alexander did not bother cleaning his white shin-high boots.
Snapping behind him, the red door closed itself shut with a bang, sending tremors around from its incredible weight.
"Who goes there?!" An elegant male shout reverberating from deep within, the darkness in front was dispersed by bright yet warm lights.
Watching the chandeliers rock from side to side, Alexander saw the hall in all of its splendor, black and white tiles decorating its bottom, two flight of curved stairs ending at the same spot a few meters high, at a wooden balcony.
Under and next to the stairs, three closed doors, their color dark. Above, a yellow light emanated from somewhere unknown.
Noticing the light to originate from the voice's direction, it did not take Alexander years to figure out what had happened.
Still not saying anything, he waited. Fortunately it only took a few seconds for a scholarly man to walk up the balcony's edge.
"Who are you? What are you doing in my residence?! Get out immediately!!" A pale green robed scholar blowing his top, he released his impressive peak Blooming Lotus Realm cultivation base on Alexander.
'Hmm~? This man is actually holding on?' Readjusting his sharp glasses, the scholar was internally surprised.
"Young man, you seem to have some strength! But even so, does it mean you can enter someone else's home without-"
"Yes. Yes it does." Interrupting the young scholar, Alexander saw his short and disheveled black hair dance from irritation, the man's face already showing tints of redness.
"Fine! Then tell me young man, why have you come all the way up here for? This Ulivop is quite intrigued!" Introducing himself, the scholar waited patiently for a long and complicated answer, indicating why Alexander dared to intrude his house without prior warning.
Expecting a Heaven-defying reason, Alexander's response truly baffled him.
"Just because."
