The shattered blue world, possibly called the Lost Sea, was nothing special.
Alexander did not even find enough living beings to call it slightly deserted. Life was on the verge of extinction. As for the strength of creatures there...
Except a few beasts equivalent to the Universe Realm, nothing much appeared.
This puzzled Alexander even more. Was he really at the right place?
But even with some doubts, his Divine Sense still exploded outward from the very beginning. He searched the desolate blue world and felt his curiosity tremble.
The search, while boring and quite honestly irritating, only lasted a single day.
As deep into a blue forest of bent trees and amidst ponds of bubbling liquid, a sign on the verge of dissipation.
This metallic sign, Daos conveyed within to talk, was barely a few million years away from crumbling to dust. The grey material, Alexander could not identify it. But it did not matter.
'The Lost Sea... it's just ahead?' Exhaling loudly, Alexander resumed his flight, this time through the sky.
After a few hours, a giant sea overtook the horizon, drowning the vision of all.
'Just... looks just like a sea... where is the lost part..? Do I actually have to search the whole thing?' His cheek twitching, Alexander did not intend to waste any more time, rushing ahead.
Thankfully, after first searching everything superficially with a quick tour, he noticed a single island lost around its center.
Of course, Alexander would search it in priority, there was no way he would go through the whole sea top to bottom first.
And on said island now stood Alexander, facing a few engravings on a piece of dark blue stone.
Feeling the Daos inscribed within, his mind resonated, translating everything written perfectly. Such was the power of cultivators.
North-east of Limbo, at the edge of its magnificence and poverty, there lies the opportunity all desire. The Lost Sea may not hold anything within its watery hands, but it can guide one through its knowledge.
Follow the dreams of countless and free yourself of greed. Embrace your patience and work toward one day entering the graveyard.
'...' This time, it was his right eye twitching uncontrollably.
'Alright...' His right foot sinking deep into the island along tendrils of Origin Energy, Alexander flung his leg upward, bringing half of the entire island with it.
From a distance, people would see a giant piece of terrain fly high into the sky.
Falling on his head, the island broke once more from a lack of durability.
'Playing with me?!' Clutching his hands, veins bulged on their surfaces before climbing up his forearms.
'You won't even tell me where?!' Sending a punch downward, the sea parted and the earth collapsed. The entire world trembled under the raging Origin Energy, almost causing another quarter of it to crumble.
The Lost Sea almost lost its sea.
Back to flying around Limbo, Alexander was still wondering whether to go north-east or not. Since, technically, he would need to attain Limbo's edge to find said graveyard.
This meant leaving the entire Inner Territory and crossing the entire Outer Territory as well.
'Would I find stealth techniques or something similar in such a shabby place? Most people there will only be weaklings... but...'
'But...'
'...'
'What about the past?'
Pursing his lips, Alexander fell deep into reflection.
Since Limbo was, according to the Greater Primordial Deity's memories, a fragment of a much bigger world...
Would location even matter?
It was not like experts did not even entertain the idea of placing sealed worlds and the likes in there to begin with...
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
'Before I go... let's take a detour to the Seven Towering Peaks. There's probably a good stealth rat there.'
A new destination in mind, Alexander disappeared.
Metallic artifacts forming sparks everywhere upon impact, duels were being hosted amidst the Seven Towering Peaks.
As for Alexander, he was currently gazing down on them, in search of a particular art. Thankfully only spotting six people at the Earth Transcending Realm while seven should have been, his voice rang throughout the battling and tall mountains.
"All of you, owners of these seven peaks, come meet this Alexander now!"
The reason Alexander expected such a low cultivation base after so long was from the old, decrepit man on the purple world.
He then realized how dangerous the Nihility Realm truly was.
When too old, one's body might turn slightly weaker over time, especially when using spatial abilities too much without understanding their strain.
When he arrived, he noticed no one above the Earth Transcending Realm. This gave him great confidence.
With a body and mind one with the boundless void, both his defense and attack power were leagues beyond, even with only a minor realm above.
Defense was a given, but attack only came as stronger in the long run. His teleportation and such techniques would not cost him endurance or even vitality. This was his advantage.
And for his current bravado, he was currently four times stronger than the Earth Transcending Realm's peak. If not for him being at the first stage's peak, never would he have dared to come here so brazenly.
But since a peak first stage could be considered on par with the second stage's very beginning, his prowess was almost as such.
Even in a seven versus one, his chances of winning were extremely high.
Battling someone who could use spatial abilities without restrictions and who held a speed and attack power four times one's own...
It would never be so easy. Could they even catch him in the first place? It was not a matter of numbers overcoming raw strength.
When someone, on average, flew four times faster, attacked four times faster, four times heavier, four times wider, defended much better and felt time slow down much more as well...
This reasoning... most knew of its implications.
"Greetings to this young master!"
"Greetings!"
"Welcome to our Seven Towering Peaks!"
Saluted from seven different figures cupping their fists slightly below his own floating figure, Alexander smirked.
'Well, some people in Limbo aren't stupid. Even that old man from before still knew better than most in my own internal world. Limbo is a league of its own!'
"Cut the crap, who's the rat in here? I need stealth techniques, mines won't cut it for what I need."
Some faces twitching, some hearts fiery and other parts of the body convulsing, these seven old men and women looked toward Alexander with difficulty.
And while they hesitated between lying and telling the truth... Alexander noticed them impulsively turn their heads in direction of an old woman on the right side.
"Her? I can feel your cultivation base, which isn't bad, but... there definitely was one of you which even I could not catch earlier. Are you trying to trick me by not using your techniques?"
Hearing Alexander's loud and stern tone, the targeted woman bit her lip.
"I never intended to deceive the young master! Please be merciful!"
"..." Almost bursting from laughter, Alexander looked amusingly toward the little group beneath.
"Who said I would be merciful in the first place? I'm not going to let you teach me anything."
Gulping, the woman trembled slightly, cupping her fists once more.
"Young master! What may you be inferring? This old woman doesn't quite understand!"
His light smile and even lighter eyes receding, he stared at all seven with indifference.
"Do you not get it? Why should I bother learning your tricks when I can just assimilate your soul!"
Without the need to hear anything more, the seven decided to take action, and so first.
Noticing seven figures teleporting all around him, Alexander smirked.
"Alright, I guess my mind can use six other sets of skills as well." And with a whisper, all that was left of him was a fading afterimage, as if smoke, soon dissipated from the multiple colorful energy blasts.
Reappearing, Alexander regained his lighthearted smile, arrogance oozing out from his very being.
Without words, he grasped the void.
Shivering, an old man of short, disheveled black hair felt his body fall into a swamp of energies. The attack reflected from the luster of his eyes advanced without halt.
And with terror permeating his every cell, a truly gigantic hand of Origin Energy grasped at his frail vessel.
[Grasping the Nine Heavens]. While a martial art meant for Star Qi, its method was very flexible from a clear lack of complex and intricate regulated paths.
A simple yet effective technique. These were surprisingly efficient for such low requirements.
However, when his prey was saved from six others, Alexander's face turned a shade colder.
"You old idiotic morons... This Alexander will show you today how the young replaces the old!"
"Engrave into your souls... how your halted Martial Dao causes your downfall!" His roar fading out from the front, its echoes were heard behind the cluster of maters.
"Careful!"
"He's behind!"
"Watch for space fluctuations!"
"I can't! My mind isn't resilient enough!"
"Waste!"
Arguing among themselves, Alexander watched with a faint curve of his lips and coldness in his eyes.
"Why argue now? For attacking this Alexander with such meagre capabilities..."
"Only death remains!"
Emerging from ripples of space, as if a whale attempting to rob the sky, was Alexander's upper body, his arm extended forward, ready to catch his first prey.
"Shit!"
"Old Ming, careful!!"
"Stupid! It's a diversion! Sister Yue is being targeted!"
"Poor eyes, but great mind!"
Laughing, Alexander was indeed after the stealth master. And with an arm confused as a snake, his hand caught onto an old woman of velvet robes.
His hand clutching her neck like a chicken, he returned to the void.
Silence reigning, the six remaining ones were utterly traumatized.
Watching powerlessly their friend of billions of years be dragged into the sea of true space, they felt cold sweats drown their backs and goosebumps cover their skins.
And as the silence lasted seconds... minutes... hours...
"...W-Wha... What... should we do..? Do we... wait it... out?"
Dry laughs and unwanted tears trickling down their sore throats and pale cheeks, the group finally had the silence be abruptly broken.
Reemerging from the ripples of space, Alexander's entire vessel.
His eyes did not look amused... they showed a vision of despair.
"Now that I got what I wanted..."
"You'll leave?"
"...No. I feel like learning a few more things wouldn't hurt... So..."
His figure vanishing, his aura disappeared while his entire being became one with the world.
"Haha... hey... brother Ji... isn't that... sister Yue's... stealth tech-" Gulping one too many times today, the old man speaking turned his head right, only to see his brother Ji's empty husk of a body stare at his soul.
Lodged into the poor Ji's chest was a hand as if a sharp dagger.
"You're next." Staring deep into the now silent and horrified old man's eyes, Alexander took the old man named Ji with him into the abyss of space.
And then...
...silence returned.
