112] - [Schemes]

112] - [Schemes]

Amidst the clear rain, below the darkened sky, explosions rang out erratically.

Droplets of the Heavens falling into the pits of a bloody hell, a pitiful young man was savagely tearing apart body after body.

Skin was torn, flesh ripped, bones crushed and minds broken apart like shattered glass.

"Die!!" Yelling at the top of his lungs, a soldier brazenly launched himself to the front, hoping to stab the little demon only a couple of meters away. Stepping on the dismembered bodies of his brothers and sisters, the man pushed through his crowded friends. Unable to connect from a lack of range, the man simply decided to throw his halberd into the fray.

Connecting with the young man's shin, it pierced through. Unfortunately for him, after removing the weapon, the wound healed in mere moments.

As if a lost wolf howling at the moon, the little demon was overcome from eruptions of inner turmoil and sensory cataclysms. His vision bloodier than his own body, his pain and suffering higher than the darkest night, the youth was tormented from the countless influences on his consciousness.

Regaining an ever so thin amount of lucidity from his berserk state, he decided to use one of his buffs.

"Do something dammit!!"

Silence reigning, the world rumbled.

Parting the common clouded Heavens was a humongous yet blazing ball of earth.

This giant meteor, enough to cover the sky, was falling right in the middle. And with a bang, the world turned upside down.

'Finally, he is using some stuff... though... was giving him one Absolute Martial Meteor too much? He still hasn't used anything else either...'

While Alexander made sure to temper with everything given as to avoid the world's destruction, something else came as unexpected. The young man barely started to employ his Mana God and Aura God powers. Just the Aura God alone should have given him an impermeable body, but Alexander also altered it. It would only be active while Mana was circulating.

Getting more and more used to his strength, the young man managed to slowly use his Mana. And with it came enlightenment from his given master prowess.

Surrounded from all sides and corners, in the middle of a literal army, the little demon was not backing down.

Sending a palm strike, a soldier was pulverized while one on the side stabbed with a spear screaming.

Evading to the side, a sword was thrusted from behind. Ducking, he only stopped one and let himself be the victim of two.

A pair of halberd and poleaxe dancing on each side, the young man used his current posture to jump high into the air.

Landing back inside the hole amidst the metallic sea, the youth caught onto a whip. Stealing it, his body flashed by for a moment before a blur passed through the army.

Barely a few instants passing, soldiers in a radius of a few meters were falling over, their bodies split in half from the waistline.

The howl of fallen soldiers rampaging throughout the battlefield, the whip was seen imbued in dense Mana, attaining more rigidity than a beautiful sword.

"Call for reinforcement!!"

"Use your magic!!"

Order after order, wail after wail and despair clutching any poor soul nearby, the little demon shredded armor as if paper and flesh as if smoke.

The grassy plains were already littered with blood, dyeing the ground crimson. As for said little demon, he was not too happy about it.

His eyes were hollow while his instincts screamed at him to continue. His own body wanted to bathe in blood, wanting to feel the bones of others break with his very senses.

Each time one was killed, he felt greed.

When one's body was torn apart, he felt thrill.

And when one's bones were shredded to dust, crumbling between his fingers, he felt pleasure.

An addiction already took root within him.

'Was using these buffs too much?'

'Actually... why not go even further beyond?' Smirking, Alexander gently waved his hand, to which a prompt appeared in front of the young man.

Under the admin Alexander's command, your status will be updated : >Strength decreased from Aura God to Aura Master! >Strength decreased from Mana God to Grand Mage! >Your strength will now rise according to the following skill's progress :

-Death Aura (Current level : 2)

This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

  >Kills needed for the next level : 247 / 10 000

(The rise in strength will take into account each added kill)

His eyes still deader than a fish's, the young man looked at another prompt in the corner of his vision.

>Quest Progression :

-Defeat the army (0/1)

-Spare no soul (247 / 10 433)

-Bathe yourself in the blood of your enemies (1/1)

-Suffer less than a thousand fatal injuries (833/1000)

His heart tightly gripped by an invisible hand, the youth felt his fear and chaos of emotions resurface for a moment, before being dragged down deeper into the abyss once again.

His crystal tears tainted by blood as his left eye was suddenly impaled, the poor boy could not tell if he was in Hell or not. Everything felt so real, yet so distant.

He could hear explosions, yet could not.

He could feel pain, yet lacked suffering.

He hoped to sleep, yet received no rest.

He demanded to flee, yet his body refused.

Trapped in his own body of flesh.., torn flesh.., his mind was overcome by chaos. Yet this chaos gave him newfound lucidity.

The more he experienced it, the better he felt. When explosions turned silent, when pain disappeared and when sleep was not needed anymore, he turned empty.

The world slowed down, and his inner voice begged for more.

And so he obliged.

Chopping down heads like he would chop firewood, remembering how he helped the old grandpa and grandma in winter.

Snapping bones like he would snap twigs when playing outside.

Crushing skulls like he would crush dry leaves in autumn.

Tearing apart skin and flesh like he would tear apart cobwebs in his rundown house.

Killing trained soldiers clad in durable armor like he would step on bugs for fun.

In both cases, he would do so with a happy smile on his face, filled with genuine content.

Crying with not tears this time, but blood instead.

Tainted by the corruption of another.

One more soul lost in eternal chaos.

'Wow... he's not half bad. Even managed to manifest a Three Seasons Dao. Are there three seasons in here?' Inspecting the past, Alexander nodded. There were indeed winter, autumn and summer.

'It's getting interesting, finally my Daos kicked in properly. He should be quite corrupted by now.'

Happily munching on his somehow still warm fish, Alexander watched the show.

Hours without end ate at the army without halt. Armors turned to waste as lives were harvested without consent.

All at the hands of a timid little boy.

Without realizing, his show became so popular, countless spectators had already made their way nearby. They looked in fear as the Azure Sun Kingdom's army was being obliterated by a small child.

What kind of demon possessed such materialized innocence? Many wondered...

There was no way for a little boy to be so strong, especially a poor looking one like this. Even without the usual dirt visible, now covered in blood, and the torn clothes completely gone by now. The naked demon still looked poor from its body.

How could a boy this gentle act so violently when so clearly malnourished? Only a demon could do so.

Was it the demon from legends? Some made conclusions...

However, they were all far from the mark.

All of it came from their very Creator's amusement.

Said Creator now wiping his mouth from the fish's remains.

'Good fish. But seems like this is going to last for a few more days. Might as well wait until then. There could be a good... show...' Having an idea for some more drama, Alexander watched the past once again.

Carefully investigating the boy's life until now, he smiled sinisterly.

'Here is my drama!' Laughing out loud, Alexander teleported a young child next to him. A small and frail little girl.

'This kid... I think they called him Liam? Anyways, they should be quite close, love type of close!'

"Hey little girl, you see that kid below?"

Still panicked from the sudden teleportation, she was helped by Alexander's Daos, calming her down.

Asking again, this time he received something.

"Huh..? Li...am? Liam?!" Her eyes wide open, the girl was shocked. She was around the same age as Liam, around fourteen to fifteen years old.

Therefore she already obtained decent intelligence and comprehension. She was not wise, but not ignorant either. Especially as orphans in a poor and shabby village such as theirs.

"W-what's going...?! Mister! What... what's going on?" Obviously she did not know what to do. She was suspended mid-air, far above the ground, by an invisible force.

"You see little girl, your lover down there is crazy now! But don't worry, there is a way for you to save him!"

"There is?!" Her eyes sparkly, Alexander nodded.

"Take this and follow your heart. You will have to separate from him for a few years or even more... but one day you will reunite."

Gifting her a system as well, Alexander teleported her away.

'Let's see how this seed will birth some decent drama for me to enjoy!'

Both of his pawns would now follow their system's orders and reunite in either joy or sadness.

'Though... what's with this army? They don't seem to be from around here. Their skin is not quite the same shade as natives here, and especially their language. I can understand them without problem, but Liam might not.'

'Mmh~ That's kind of sad isn't it?' A sudden surge of nostalgia erupting out of nowhere, Alexander, for no good reason, remembered a certain someone from Valtos' Universe.

'I remember that Liam kid's name, but not the strongest soul in my Eternal Soul Corridor... Well, is it important?'

If Ghutly Vermon heard this, he would already be rolling in his dimensional coffin. The poor man was a legend, but his name had already been forgotten this much by Alexander. However, who was he to complain?

Curiously gazing upon the distant clouds up above, Alexander noticed Liam's use of the Divine Judgment. It was not a difficult assumption to make when the light-grey clouds were illuminated by countless sparks of white lightning.

As for the army...

None were too happy about a divine punishment. A major part of the army being suddenly vaporized by innumerable white lightning bolts for ten minutes straight did not help either.

A few months later, inside the Azure Sun Kingdom's castle, a certain king's expression turned from disbelief to sourness. The cause was the army's messenger and his return.

"Are you sure? If you are lying to me, you won't get off unscathed! You do know that, don't you?!"

"Yes! My King, our army was defeated by a small child! I believe him to have been possessed by a demon!"

"..." Acting as if pondering over the truth and falsehood of the information collected, the king was screaming inside.

'This god damned Hallowed Mountain! Blessed my ass! I won't forget this!!'
