Taking a look at the world in front, Alexander flew to the white pedestal.
Observing the changes made while he was gone, he pondered.
'I ended up coming back sooner, my Dao of Time inside the system is barely half-way gone, do I speedup the process and go, or...' Brightening, he did not change anything. Making multiple screens of light appear, he sat cross-legged mid-air and enjoyed the show.
After a week of peaceful entertainment, Alexander summed up his world's situation.
'Four great powers, one on each of my Ethereal-Tier artifacts. The highest cultivation base other than the group of morons earlier is around the Heavenly Realm. That's average I'd say, the four great powers possessing a Sky Realm cultivator each and the city where I put the stele having that singular Heavenly Realm cultivator along a few Sky Realm cultivators here and there.'
'The terrain has not changed much if not for the size of human settlements, capitals along gigantic cities having already formed, that however, was to be expected.'
Having spent Alexander's entire Dao of Time, the world had advanced by almost a hundred thousands years.
While cultivators were already considered common thanks to his giant stone stele, it did not mean they were powerful. Comparing his world's bottom layer with a Tier-3 World, Alexander judged his bottom layer to be slightly above average, since there existed some very rare Tier-3 Worlds where Star Realm cultivators were barely considered rare with Heavenly Realm cultivators being common.
Keeping his appearance the same, he changed his height to 1.8 meters, his unassuming white robes fluttering about.
Teleporting inside the bottom layer of his world, he appeared right above the city containing the stone stele.
He had learned that this city was now called the 'Immortal City', mainly because the strongest cultivators resided in this specific city.
Alexander had already understood it to be caused by the stone stele's influence.
Being a public cultivation technique for everyone to see, one without limitation on future achievements, it was as clear as day why this city became so influential.
Hiding his figure until he reached a random empty alley, Alexander's figure reappeared for everyone to see.
Concealing his cultivation base, he walked out of the dark alley.
What greeted him was a bustling wide street under the bright sun, giving it an otherworldly peaceful atmosphere.
'Space is pretty in this Universe, but it gets old quickly, a peaceful city street like this is just as good!'
Enjoying the sight, Alexander walked leisurely to his right.
The street he was currently on went down on his left, and up on his right, seemingly toward the center of the city, as he could see a tall and thin castle far into the distance.
Stopping from time to time, he would buy random stuff from the stalls and stores all around him.
Entering a good looking store on the opposite side of the street, he went to the counter. Behind it, glass panels were protecting many colorful items. It was the same way everywhere else inside the store.
"Hey friend, can I get thirty stalks of 'Lesser Fire Grass', along ten 'Light Mosses'?"
Asking a tall middle aged man, Alexander waited for him to calculate the amount.
"Good choice young man, it's only four gold coins and twenty-four silver coins."
Taking a few seconds to search inside his Inner World's collection of space rings, he found one with such currency.
Handing to the store owner the required amount, he waited as the clerk bagged his goods before giving them to him, thanking him for his patronage in the process.
"Have a nice day!" Leaving happily, he was back on the wide street, and going down the few stone steps the store had outside, he continued walking left.
He kept going up, before looking carefully everywhere. Soon, he smiled as he finally had found a house for sale.
Alexander was currently within the inner city, while not as expensive and luxurious as the core city, it was miles better than the outer city and the wilderness under the city's jurisdiction.
Going to the sidewalk on his right, he observed the house's front. Being inside a city this big did not mean it was spacious everywhere. Alexander had noticed this as soon as he arrived on the street, every store and every house were cramped up together, barely finding thin alleys to walk into.
This was the main reason so many stalls were present, simply because there wasn't much space left, if any.
Reading the price tag, Alexander did not know if it was expensive or not, but since it did not matter to him anyway, he simply knocked on the brown door surrounded by blue walls only five meters wide each.
"Yes?" Opening the door, a middle aged woman asked him.
"I'm here to buy this house, it was fifty-one gold coins right? Here." Handing over a pouch filled to the brim with coins shining a beautiful gold, Alexander waited patiently.
Having obtained so much gold at once, the middle aged woman was brimming with vitality.
"Yes, young master, please!" Having put her house for sale, the middle aged woman had already packed most of her remaining belongings. Taking them, she gave the keys to Alexander adorned by a land deed.

Storing the white scroll after scanning it swiftly, Alexander took the keys and entered the house.
It was a two-story house that, while not large, was still eighty square meters thanks to the space behind.
Alexander was not sure if he would be buying a house within the city, so he had bought light moss beforehand.
'A loaf of bread is ten coppers, and I guess the conversion rate is a hundred for one each time, so that light moss was really expensive, I guess poor mortals here never have a light source.'
Having finished his house tour, he resumed.
'It's alright, I'm not picky anyway, a kitchen, a cultivation room, two other rooms alongside a bathroom and a living room. It's a bit short in width however... the corridor near the stairs is barely a meter large.'
Having settled down, Alexander did not do anything to the house, not intending to make it a cultivation paradise or an impenetrable fortress.
Leaving his house, he explored the neighborhood until it became night.
'This system was a great help, this night sky was way easier to make than without it. It looks very realistic, though it's completely fake.'
Admiring the system's starry night sky, colors brightly shining everywhere, representing the stars, he walked with peace.
About to get back home, he frowned. His eyes noticing a figure lying in front of his door. Deciding to get closer, he got a better look at this figure.
'A girl?' Perplexed, Alexander wondered how something like this could happen.
A beautiful young girl seemed to have fainted right in front of his door, how could Alexander stay unfazed seeing this? He of course had to do it!
Getting closer to the young girl, her attire luxurious, he kicked her to the side, sending her unconscious body flying to his right, tumbling violently on the slightly inclined side-walk.
Seeing the now bleeding unconscious girl groaning in pain, he nodded.
'That's better! I did not know people had young girls dirtying their doorstep instead of leaves, what a weird city. As a gentleman, I must keep my doorstep clean!'
Entering the house, he did not even look back as he closed the door shut.
The rare passersby were shocked watching this scene.
'Who would do that?!'
'Why did such an opportunity befall him and not me! I would take care of her!'
'What did I just witness... I should move out from this street...'
Many different reactions were coloring the passersby's faces, all of them looking at the young girl with pity, greed, and confusion.
Having been flung to the side so brutally, the young girl was forced awake. Opening her blue eyes, she had a confused look plastered all over her face.
Noticing the pink haired young girl waking up, many strangers started approaching her, trying their best to curry favors.
"Miss, what are you doing here? Many bad things could happen at night!" Laughing evilly, a middle aged man was questioning her.
Frowning, the young girl released her powerful aura, immediately suppressing the crowd around.
"E-Earth Realm!!"
Scared beyond recognition, all of them tried to flee, unfortunately, the young girl was not done with them.
"Stay here! I'll let you pigs go if you tell me what happened! I don't remember being injured like this!"
Hearing this, all of them tried to be the first to answer her question.
"Great miss, it was a young man in plain white robes, he had long silver hair and silver eyes, he kicked you to the side!" Pointing at Alexander's house, the man had a flattering smile on his face.
"I see!" Anger clearly showing, the young girl was fuming. Being humiliated like this... kicked like rotten food!
But she could not help questioning Alexander's identity.
'I don't have my crest on, so it's normal he wouldn't recognize my identity, however, to kick me with so much force I would be this injured... he is no ordinary man!'
Being a peak Earth Realm expert, the young girl had a body on par with Earth-Tier supreme grade artifacts, being kicked like this meant that her attacker was clearly within the same great realm at the very least.
What she did not know however, was that Alexander's kick had been limited in power as much as he could, after all, with his body tempered beyond imagination, just a casual kick might've shattered his bottom layer by accident, why would Alexander go so far?
"Alright, you guys can go, but I better not see you around!" Scolding the crowd that was already dispersing, she walked toward Alexander's house.
Knocking a couple of times, the door opened, Alexander's figure visible to her.
"What do you want?" Frowning, Alexander was wondering what was going on.
'Is night always this weird in here, should I change stuff later?'
"Sir, are you the one who kicked me?" Gritting her teeth, the young girl stared at Alexander, fire almost spitting out of her pupils.
"Kicked... Are you the girl that was on my doorstep? If you are, then maybe don't faint at random spots next time." Seeing the young man trying to close his door, the young girl immediately reacted, putting her foot in its trajectory.
Looking at the young girl's foot below, Alexander frowned even more.
"The fuck do you want? You have three seconds or you can say goodbye to your little foot!"
Knowing that a crowd was watching, the young girl would not allow herself to be humiliated like this.
"What did you just say to me?! I'll let you know, I am the daughter of-"
"AAAAAAHHH !"
Before she could finish talking about her amazing background, Alexander increased his strength while using Qi to protect the door along the surroundings, crushing the young girl's foot into paste, dismembering her in the process.
Watching this scene, the crowd was terrified.
"Earth Realm expert... An Earth Realm expert got defeated with a wooden door?!"
"Is this young man an immortal? Maybe a peerless expert training his mind in the mortal world!"
The young girl was petrified, tears flowing down her cheeks without stop.
Looking at the closed door in front of her face, she fainted.
The next scene would be the nail in the coffin for the crowd, before the young girl's fainting body could touch the ground, the wooden door opened at lightning speed. A leg appearing from the house's depths, it kicked the young girl to the opposite side of the street, almost sending her crashing into a house. And just as the leg finished, it retracted before the door closed shut once more.
Silence fell.

The next day, Alexander went out to explore the city a bit more, meanwhile, a small group was eyeing his empty house.
"I swear it will work! A beautiful young girl like her was kicked away like garbage, it means the owner must be interested in men! Look how beautiful I am!" A charming young man was looking at his friends proudly.
"This opportunity, I won't miss it! Watch how this young master gains the favor of the immortal master!"
Not letting his friends react, he stood on Alexander's doorstep before lying down on it, closing his eyes, faking having fainted, waiting patiently until night time.
Walking back home, Alexander noticed the young man on his doorstep.
Confusion could be seen permeating his face.
Looking around, Alexander did not see anything similar to this being on the neighboring doorsteps.
'Yes! He didn't kick me, it means I-'
Kicking the young man to the side, breaking his ribs, Alexander was really getting confused.
'What is going on?! Yesterday it was a young woman, today it's a young man, what next, an old man? A dragon? Is that why the house was on sale?'
Entering his home, Alexander was truly pondering about changing his world's settings.
