Celestial Journey

67] - [Automation]

Travelling east for a few years, Alexander had already reached the Demonic Land Region long ago, as Kermos City was just that close to it.

So in the last month or so, Alexander had already attained the core of this region, almost arriving at its capital.

'The capital city is called Southern Domain I believe? Anyway, it's time to make some preparations.' Spotting the capital in the distance, already feeling powerful Celestial Qi fluctuations from it, Alexander ran in the opposite direction, soon finding a suitable mountain a few thousands of kilometers away.

Floating high above, Alexander struck the mountain and its surroundings with his palm repeatedly, causing the earth to be flung everywhere.

Having dug a giant hole, he only needed to transform it next.

Spending a few days, Alexander had turned the blank canvas that his destruction caused into a hidden house underground.

Entering it, one would realize that half of the house was imbedded inside the nearest mountain.

Transplanting trees and else to hide his handiwork, Alexander then entered it.

Once inside, he instantly directed himself toward the deepest part of the house, inside the mountain.

The house cozy, it had a sharp structure, worthy of majesty, especially for such a random construction.

Sitting cross-legged on a cushion, Alexander opened his palm toward the ceiling.

From it, a ball of golden light shone.

Once it turned silver, Alexander meticulously separated a fraction of his soul before placing it inside the ball.

Blinding like the sun, the ball of silver light suddenly jumped from his hand, landing on the ground below, down the few stairs Alexander had made.

Squirming, the ball began to change shape, getting bigger and bigger, soon turning into a copy of Alexander.

'Not bad, first stage Primordial Harmonization Realm... Should be enough, and if not, I'll just make more!' Done creating his clone, Alexander's soul already showed signs of recovery.

Not wasting time, Alexander ordered the clone to kill anyone and anything it saw before bringing back their wealth and even their entire bodies if possible.

As it had a fragment of Alexander's soul, it only served as a reminder just in case something wrong had happened.

Carefully showing it a new room he made on the spot at the entrance, the furthest place from his main room, Alexander ordered it to use said new room as a storage facility.

Laughing evilly, Alexander was ready to farm this capital city without remorse.

'Surprisingly, in three years, nobody has come looking for me... are my clones just that good, or are they planning something?' Having spent over three years without a hitch, Alexander was truly perplexed. And since he was not worried about soul searching techniques, his now three clones sealed, he could only worry about snakes.

Playing with a soul crystal, Alexander had already broken through the second stage, as his clones kept bringing him space rings filled to the brim with riches.

In the meantime, his soul healed long ago from the last clone he made, Alexander wondered if he should make a fourth one.

'Would it be a waste of time? Three are enough for now, and I'm confident in drying this place until nothing is left with just these.'

Stern about his decision, Alexander was certain he would not need to make another clone.

Ten years later, Alexander looked at one of his clones in wonder, stroking his chin in contemplation.

'Why has number forty-seven come back damaged like this?' Having now over fifty clones, Alexander had to expand his underground bunker, as even using space rings along his internal world could not stop his clones from throwing hundreds of space rings and corpses inside the storage rooms continuously.

'Where do they even find so many people? All of them are above the Cloud Immortal Realm as well... This capital city is actually much stronger and livelier than I originally thought!'

'But oh well, now that I'm finally done with preparations I can breakthrough to the next few stages.' Over the last ten years, Alexander's clone had gathered around fifty thousand Marrahva Crystals per day, most of this average bumped up from his latest years, having dozens of clones to do the job.

In the end, Alexander had earned around 180 million Marrahva Crystals, along a few soul crystals here and there, barely enough for him to reach the fifth stage.

'I'm still lacking in World Seeds, but whatever, I'll just steal some from peak Primordial Harmonization Realm cultivators once I'm done with this secluded cultivation.' Closing his eyes, the cross-legged Alexander, still underground, threw millions upon millions of Marrahva Crystals along dozens upon dozens of soul crystals all around him.

The underground hall drowned in wealth, literally, Alexander began to cultivate his Celestial Soul, quickly turning it into a Nascent Celestial Soul.

Crystal after crystal being shattered from his cultivation session, the hall was now covered in red and pale blue twinkling dust. His figure completely hidden from the outside world by a whirlwind of red and pale blue mist, Alexander's cultivation base started to steadily soar.

Having went through the Nascent Soul Realm long ago, Alexander did not need cultivation techniques to efficaciously cultivate his soul, a piece of cake for a forty-three million years old monster.

As such, in barely fifty years, Alexander was done cultivating.

His soul shaking the mountain he was within, Alexander felt his power rise sharply, his soul much stronger than anticipated, his former perfected immortal soul a perfect and elevated starting point.

Clenching his fist, Alexander gauged his current raw power.

'Compared to the first stage, I am around fourteen times stronger? Maybe more, that boost in soul power was actually much more potent than I first imagined.'

His clones still with some use, Alexander spent a few more years in seclusion, his clones gathering more than enough Marrahva and soul crystals in such a short timeframe.

Placing them around him, he could finally cultivate further. But this time, Alexander first started by absorbing his clones back, his soul somehow gaining a slight boost once again.

Now alone, he looked above, at the smooth ceiling he had made more than sixty years ago.

Punching toward it, the ceiling along the whole mountain were blasted away, sent flying in pieces high above the clouds.

Oblivious to the earthquakes generated from those pieces landing back down, Alexander started to cultivate.

Smiling, it only took Alexander a month to breakthrough the last stage and was now consolidating his cultivation base, pushing it closer to the absolute peak of this realm.

Absorbing his clones an old mean to an easier and much faster breakthrough, Alexander barely needed two months for his Celestial Nascent Soul to reach the peak.

'Great! At the third stage I had my Divine Sense reach three hundred meters, and now it's four hundred!'

The ceiling shattered, Alexander headed straight above, aiming for the sky. Staring right at it, Alexander flew higher than ever, not forgetting to drop a puppet behind to keep potential 'prey' nearby, as he had now pierced the clouds long ago.

'The Celestial Realm and its sky's boundary... why is it so far?' Now a month into his flying journey, he had already managed to crush his former altitude record.

The reason was simple and something he had realized a while ago when he became a Grand Gravitational Realm expert. This was also the main reason he could not fly before and why the clouds seemed so hard to attain back then.

The sky was actually pressuring everything below continuously, meaning one without a proper cultivation base would be unable to proceed after reaching a certain height.

However, now an absolute peak Primordial Harmonization Realm expert, Alexander was more than strong enough to reach the sky's boundary, or so he thought.

'With how little force I feel applied to me right now, can't I finally cultivate mid-air?!' His figure now smaller than a dot from the ground's perspective, it soon disappeared.

Another few weeks passing by, Alexander's speed absolutely extreme, he suddenly felt pressured again.

'...'

'Are you serious? I can't go any higher? Does that mean I can shatter the sky from here?' Compared to the Star Realm, where one would crush the sky's boundary directly, Alexander understood his situation to be somewhat different.

Noticing the pressure too much for him to currently handle, he proceeded to fly back down a little before sitting cross-legged mid-air.

Breathing in the pure Celestial Qi present, Alexander struck the sky above him.

His [World Shattering Palm] finally in use again, as he deemed it fit for such a role, he saw his palm disappear above him, as if faded from nothingness.

However...

Loud cracking sounds reverberating throughout the sky, they soon turning into a powerful rumbling of wrath.

Smiling from ear to ear, he witnessed with joy as transparent fragments of pure power fell on his lap as if trained pets.

'My aim is still good!'

Taking out his only World Seed, its green luster shining brightly, dimming the sky, Alexander started to absorb its power, comprehending the Heavenly Laws contained within.

Once he felt ready, after hours of contemplation, Alexander resumed with meticulousness. Thankfully, his life experience would be more than enough for this task.

Using the sky fragments to cultivate, he immediately used them to replace his internal world's own sky...

...or so he tried.

'?!' Feeling the repulsion, he could only give up, now unsure on what to do with these fragments.

'The first stage is called the Sky Shattering Stage. Does it mean I'm already done? What a waste!' Denying this unsatisfactory outcome, Alexander had an idea.

'If I can't use it to improve my flesh and soul, I can still try to fuse it with my martial arts!' Thinking deeply about how to implement such a wacky idea, he obtained a proper answer in mere hours. Unfortunately, there were actually two different answers.

'If I don't actually fuse with these fragments, but more so... place them back in the sky while commanding them... then throw them at my opponents... or maybe I could comprehend their power and replicate it on my own.' Interested in the sky's powerful pressure, Alexander realized that both ideas could be attempted as they did not clash with each other.

Pondering deeply, his head slumped on his arm, Alexander had finally decided.

'Alright, let me comprehend this power.'

A month passing by, he had failed to comprehend their power, not only extremely complex but also somehow sealed from him.

No other choice, he could only try to tame the fragments.

Now four months in and he had no progress.

'This is problematic, what can I do then? Nothing? I'm almost done with the World Seed as well, these Heavenly Laws aren't too hard.'

After the sixth month flew by, Alexander simply gave up.

'I already broke through the Immortal Sky Realm. But seems like the Celestial Realm's Heavens are not too pleased with my performance, or more so my attempted performance. But I could at least figure out which martial art is most suitable for fusing with these fragments.'

In months, he had at least found out that his [Heaven's Fall] was actually a perfect match for these fragments, not only in execution but also in technique.

Sending a drone-like puppet down just in case, he had to wait for four months before it came back. In the meantime he had already started to descend.

'There are...' Being transmitted the puppet's memories, Alexander found himself in a small pinch.

'Seriously?'
