Celestial Journey
44] - ['That']

44] - ['That']

Leaving Tan Jianghong's residence, Alexander slowly drifted into space, taking out a white token in the process.

Injecting Star Qi inside, the token started glowing a pure white light, blinking for a few moments before stabilizing.

From it, a rough voice came out.

"Your majesty! What orders do you have for this humble servant?"

"Give me your current location." Rudely giving an order, the man on the other side did not seem to mind.

"Your majesty, our current coordinates are..." Listening to the precise information, Alexander stopped feeding the token Star Qi, causing its light to recede inside.

Alexander's Dao of Space channeled all around, his figure kept blinking into the void, heading straight down.

After crossing the Main Realms, he stepped inside the Upper Realms. Proceeding to follow the shortest path, he did not hesitate to pierce through worlds, impaling them with pure might.

A few days passing by, Alexander soon found a familiar green world in the distance.

'Wasn't that the area where that old burnt head ambushed me? Did they not move in the meantime?' Remembering about Yang Zhi's arrogance, Alexander smiled.

'My home might've not changed, but I did. Just a step away from that. Actually, I'm already there, I just need to wait I think?' Realizing his overconfidence, Alexander shook his head.

'What am I saying, I'm not sure it will be me... but I can ask now... can't I?'

Circulating his Star Qi throughout his throat, Alexander shouted loudly, his voice causing ripples of Qi to populate the void.

"Heavens! I, Alexander, have a question I hope you can answer!"

Expecting the following silence, he waited for clouds to form above him, covering trillions of kilometers in all directions.

"Speak !"

Hearing the powerful voice of the Heavens themselves, Alexander nodded.

"I have reached the absolute peak of the Ascension Realm, making me curious... am I one of the two chosen ones?"

"..."

Frowning, Alexander was surprised by the mute Heavens. Fortunately for him, the Heavens still decided to be truthful.

"You are! You will be notified once the Grand Macrocosm Trial of Ascendency is ready, at that time, one of the two chosen must ask me to officially begin!"

Cupping his fists, Alexander waited for the ominous clouds to disperse.

'So I am! Hahaha! Now that I know for certain, it certainly feels great.' His mood reaching an all time peak since being unsealed, Alexander gleefully smiled while flying straight toward a humongous white pyramid into the distance.

Landing on it, Alexander ignored the kneeling soldiers in azure armors as he headed straight in a certain direction, not forgetting to release his original height, growing exponentially taller by the moment. Once he reached ten million kilometers in height, he found it easier to navigate inside the even taller corridors and halls.

Walking inside a gloomy corridor, a purple carpet below his feet, Alexander looked left and right, searching for an empty spot between the countless jars present.

Disabling arrays on his right, the bondless panel of glass started to slide deep inside the floor.

"AAAAAAAHHHH!!!"

"MAKE THIS STOP!!"

Ignoring the wails of agony, he headed straight right.

"Haru something, be glad hehehe! You get to be on my prized Eternal Soul Corridor!" Walking to a shelf a couple millions kilometers high, the crouched Alexander placed on it the jar where Haruto's soul was trapped.

"WHAT IS THIS?!! STOP!! I'M SORRY!!"

Haruto's agonizing screams of suffering entered Alexander right ear, unfortunately for him, they immediately left by the other.

Waiting for the panel of glass to seal the right side once more, Alexander reactivated the many arrays present.

"This should do it! Have a nice eternity in there! Don't you worry anyway guys, all of you inside of my Eternal Soul Corridor will be given freedom! Once I win the Grand Macrocosm Trial of Ascendency... You will all receive eternal rest!" Laughing madly, Alexander left with wide steps, leaving behind the agony to forever continue.

Already back to his main hall, Alexander leisurely headed for his gargantuan throne. Sitting on it comfortably, he patiently waited, making sure to stay in peak condition at all times.

'I'll get bored easily, I can't even get the satisfaction of an increase in cultivation, my strength just won't get any higher. I just can't seem to get past this 9.999 Peak-Star power.'

Contemplating what to do in the meantime, expecting the wait to last in between hundreds of years to millions if not billions, Alexander soon found his answer.

"I'll just use a puppet! No, even better, a clone!"

His eyes shining from excitement, Alexander manually divided his soul into two, taking the new soul on his right. Forming a copy of his body on his left, he then inserted the soul inside the new two meters tall body.

To not trouble himself with the Heavenly Way, Alexander made sure the clone to only be a trivial Dao Fusion Realm cultivator.

His original soul already regenerated, he could feel his clone as if playing a game from Earth.

'I should've done that more in the past...' Lamenting at his lack of creativity, he teleported the clone to a random Tier-5 World.

The said clone spawning in the middle of nowhere, on a deserted dirt road under the blue sky, Alexander started to think of his clone's identity.

'His name will be...' Hesitating between something serious or completely clownish, he decided fairly quickly.

This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

'Player... I'll just call it player... oh I know!!'

Opening his eyes with his real body, Alexander took out a space ring from his internal world, extracting a small particle from it. If one had a peerless vision, they would see the particle to be made from metal, with many engravings on it.

Teleporting the metallic particle to his clone, he grafted it inside the clone's brain.

Closing his eyes once more, he took control of the clone.

'[Status]!'

Immediately, a screen of light only he could see appeared in front of him.

Smiling, Alexander selected a random skill to be sure, as he saw many of his techniques and martial arts missing.

[Yin-Yang Union] Level : MAX Description :

A precision heavy technique, using both palms extended forward, sending a Yin and Yang beam from each hand.

(Example : left hand Yin beam, right hand Yang beam), the palms must be oriented so that the beams will eventually hit one another.

After the beams hit each other, they will explode in a concentrated mess of Yin and Yang energies, freezing and melting everything near.

The precision comes from the fact that the opponent must be very close to the impact point of the technique. Full mastery, the user does not need a high cultivation base to use the skill, mainly using the user's understanding of the Dao of Yin and Dao of Yang.

Nodding, Alexander was glad the system he used was functioning properly.

'Working like a charm!'

Playing with the system a bit, Alexander walked straight ahead, following the thin dirt road.

A few hours later, he saw a duo of men approach him.

"Hehe! Young man, it is your bad luck bumping into us!" The men laughing, they waited for Alexander to scream in fright and beg for his life. The said man however, was not paying much attention to their words.

'How does it work... [Analysis]? No... [Appraisal], maybe?'

Just as he thought about the command '[Appraisal]', Alexander saw a window of light pop up.

'That's just too much information...' Navigating the option menu, Alexander completely ignored the two thugs jumping at him with malicious intentions.

Striking at Alexander's clone, the two were shocked after feeling their opponent's defenses, as Alexander still kept a basic Qi shield around.

Done with the modifications, Alexander once again tried to appraise the same one.

Name : George Tymus Age : 503 Cultivation : Nascent Soul Realm (Low Stage) Cultivation Art : Royal Manuscript of Divinity (Incomplete) HP : 98% DAN : 87% STR : 921 000 (Martial Tons)

'That's better!' Casually slapping the air, Alexander sent a gust of Qi crash onto the duo, ending their pitiful lives in the process.

Ding!

You have killed the [Troubling Duo of Cartazis]! [Death Aura] has been unlocked! [Death Aura] +2 [Death Aura] has reached level 1!

Leisurely continuing his careless walk, Alexander soon perceived a city in the horizon.

Taking a day to reach it, he looked at the giant wooden gates.

'Some Steel Darzag Wood... Not bad at all for a Tier-5 World!'

Entering, Alexander paid the guards with the money he gathered from the two before.

'So this city is called Cartazis, I suppose these two weren't liked very much here.'

Unsure of what to do, Alexander release his pathetic Divine Sense.

'It's been so long since my Divine Sense was so terrible... 350 meters... should I forcefully boost it?' Shaking his head the next moment, he denied himself this shortcut.

'It wouldn't be fun this way.'

'But should I... add a leveling system as well? Cultivating with a clone would not only be pointless but also boring.'

Tweaking the option menu for a few hours, he managed to find the right setting.

'So I need to feed the system some Qi... Unfortunately it requires a specific spatial battery. I'll just have make one then.'

His real body putting his palm facing upward, Alexander condensed a ball of Star Qi, Emperor Qi, True Qi and finally Qi.

Feeding each ball of different Qi enough energies to grow a few hundred meters, he closed his gigantic hand, forcing the ball of energies to reduce in size. Once he achieved enough stability, Alexander took out a particle sized piece of pale green metal.

Controlling both the metal particle and the ball of energies, he transferred the energies inside of the particle.

'Now for the tricky part... does it fit? And if so... does it work?' Snapping his fingers, the particle of metal was teleported to the clone's location, quickly entering the brain, finding the system in the process.

Seeing with his Divine Sense the system assimilate the metal particle, Alexander nodded before closing his eyes, controlling the clone.

'[System]!'

Observing the panel of light, Alexander noticed his cultivation base possessing a level next to it.

'Dao Fusion Realm at the fusion stage is level 180. I'm not sure how they calculate this. And how much was considered.'

Looking around Alexander appraised a random man on the side.

'So the very first layer of the Golden Core Realm is level 161. I get the gist of it for now.'

Appraising everything remotely interesting, Alexander suddenly froze.

As the system's window indicated the person he had just appraised to be level 0, with the 'cultivation' indicating that person to be a Mana God.

Alexander only had one thought come to his mind.

'Invader?'
