Floating all around Alexander were a few mangled corpses.
Each of old age and distant dreams, they remained motionless within Limbo.
And, just at his very feet, an old man clung onto life desperately.
"Well, well, well... You're probably thinking how dumb you were for attacking me earlier, don't you?"
Watching in horror as Alexander's face distorted, his smile wide and his eyes crescent moons, the old man felt desolation clutch his heart with an iron grip.
"Before I assimilate your soul as well..."
"Let's play a game!"
"Sir..." Gulping audibly, the old man was drenched in cold sweats.
"No sir, what's the point anyway? You're about to die!"
Even after hearing these words and understanding their truth, the old man was still full of delusions.
"Sorry god, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to only call you as such, please forgive me oh great god!"
His face crunching up from disgust, Alexander was not too pleased with this old man's attitude. He understood his position, and if it was the opposite sex in which he was interested in, he might have not been bothered as much. A man grew likings after all. But this was an old, decrepit, wrinkly man. And this old thing was on the verge of licking his shoes like a cheap dog.
"Yeah... let's play a very fun game! It's called, Alexander said!"
"The rules are simple, I will give you orders, and you must only follow them when I say Alexander said just before. Got it?"
Nodding to the point his neck cracked, the old man readied himself.
"Alright..."
"Alexander said, stand up!"
'Easy!' Scoffing inside, the old man stood up.
"Good! Now... sit!"
Almost bending his knees, the man caught himself in time.
'Haha! I'm not stupid-'
"Blargh!!" Sent flying across Limbo's desolate space, the old man had his stomach suddenly kicked in by Alexander.
"Wha... Why?!" Begging for answers, he only saw Alexander's bulging veins cover his face.
"This Alexander told you to sit, but you dismiss? Are you out of your mind?!"
"But..." With eyes wide open and a heart beating faster than ever, the old man suddenly received enlightenment.
"You..."
"Come back here. Oh? Not here already?"
"Wait- Ahhh!!!"
'What do I do?!! Help! I need help-'
"Crawl!"
"Crawling are we? But I never said Alexander said!"
"HELP!!!"
Amidst the lowly roars of a defeated and humiliated old man, droplets of universal blood rained upon the Seven Towering Peaks more and more each day.
And when a flattened skull of utter solitude landed onto the dueling arena, Alexander was nowhere to be seen.
'I got the stealth technique, some useless weapon knowledge, artifact refining methods and a few pill recipes. Not so terrible, and since it's free, I don't mind it.'
His tasks now completed, Alexander chose to rush outside the Inner Territory, in search of the mysterious opportunity.
Yet, when his vessel began to move, it stopped the next instant.
'...'
After so long... Alexander was having some indigestion.
'Some little ones want to ascend...' His face freezing, Alexander realized himself to now be the same as Valtos back then.
While older and stronger, if it was not for him holding them in place, he would have let them ascend while in the Earth Transcending Realm. However, the being in question was acting wantonly, disrupting his Celestial Realm.
'Fine! You want to ascend while at the Instinct Liberating Realm?! Here you go!'
This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.
Beneath the Celestial Heavens, above the soft grass, a man of sapphire eyes and golden hair gazed upon the clear sky in horror.
Falling right above his head, a gigantic hand of beautiful silver.
Laying his eyes onto this truly monstrous hand, the man felt innate inferiority.
And as one would have it, the man was about to be caught.
A youth of silver frowning amidst Limbo, Alexander noticed the man to not be alone but more potent was his own body's reaction.
Inspecting his Multiverse, he noticed multiple Universes to have collapsed. And, under his hand, not only resided this man of gold, but also a woman...
...and another, and even more people.
'Haha! Not bad!'
'...' Frowning as well, the man of gold and sapphire watched in confusion as the silver hand vanished.
However, to clear away their doubts and quench their drive, shackling their wild impatience, was Alexander's voice.
"So many of you! This Alexander is quite impressed. But, do all of you really intend on ascending? You have no idea about what lies further, and even less about how dangerous it is!"
Feeling slight nervousness, the leader, man of gold, cupped his fists toward the sky.
"Your Excellency! We are indeed ignorant, but why delay our request further? Were you not on the verge of accomplishing our heartfelt goals?"
"I'm doing this out of compassion. If not for me stopping you while I am travelling within the Inner Territory, would your little Instinct Liberating Realm cultivation bases protect your lives when exposed to the outside?"
"The world beyond, that of Limbo, is not so easily crossed."
"When I was in your position, it was required of me to reach the Half-Universe Realm's summit before being able to survive."
Exchanging glances, the group of many experts felt slight disappointment and humiliation. However, Alexander's voice pushed these emotions away with his next sentences.
"But... I am currently in direction of the Outer Territory... so, instead of cultivating further, why not wait for a bit? Once I am there, I don't mind dropping you off!"
Smiles beaming, the leader bowed slightly.
"Please do so, Your Excellency!"
"..." Silence returning to the Celestial Heavens, the dozen members of the group sat cross-legged, gentle grass hugging their legs.
"Everyone, prepare to seal yourselves for few more eons. This senior... doesn't seem to understand the difference in time. If we let ourselves be played with like this, our lifespans won't cut it!"
Unaware, Alexander did not imagine for one second that his lack of understanding of the unrestrained Time Dao caused his own creations to despise him and his indifference.
To Alexander, a few billion years were not much... but to the people inside his Multiverse...
The concept of a billion years turned completely different. Even a single year was much more than Alexander's entire life.
Deep into the Dark Wall's most beautiful section, a black robed man, sitting on a magnificent chair next to a desk, suddenly jolted awake.
"Did I forget to tell Alexander about the flow of time?"
"Well, it shouldn't cause any problem. If he cannot figure it out, then it just wasn't meant to be yet."
And back to his desk job was Valtos.
With his urgent matter dealt with, Alexander darted ahead.
As for his forgiving and generous attitude, Alexander felt a lack of options. If it was just a few people trying to surpass him, he would have slaughtered them on the spot, however, his cultivation instincts claimed a different opinion.
And as his figure flew across the empty space, the frown on his face never receded.
A troublesome situation was making itself known to him, and his hate toward ants hoping to challenge him did not help.
A clash of beliefs appeared. A separation of body and mind shaped itself visible.
A disparity between consciousness and subconsciousness had formed.
His journey boring, all that Alexander saw were a few random worlds here and there, and of course, some Primordial Humans' remains as well.
Now a few thousand years into it, Alexander neared the Inner Territory's edge.
And during this time, his subconscious alerted him of a rather obvious overlook.
'Wait... Can't I know how broken my internal world's flow of time is with worlds? I can tell the difference between Tier-10 Worlds, therefore...'
Inspecting his Primordial Main Worlds, Alexander noticed worlds already aged deep into the ninth tribulation tier.
'A ninth tribulation world is... if I remember correctly...'
'...correctly...'
'...'
'Oh...'
'Oops?' Scratching the back of his head in embarrassment, Alexander now understood his mishap.
A ninth tribulation tier world was a duodecillion years old, this meant his internal world to be going...
'A nonillion times faster?!'
His eyes wide, Alexander almost choked on his saliva. And with it, came full blown stress.
In mere moments, his mind became flooded from hundreds of calculations and predictions. His spirit was breaking apart, trying its best to understand the implications on the past, present, future, techniques, knowledge, his Multiverse, Limbo, anything and everything.
'I can't let these freaks live!'
Above the Celestial Heavens, a familiar silver hand approached dangerously.
Noticed by the sealed experts, they unsealed themselves, ready to ascend.
Yet... the hand showed no sign of peace, or good intentions for that matter. The deadly aura it emanated... did not seem fake.
"Watch out!"
"It's an attack!"
"Retrea-"
The silver hand crashing onto the Celestial Realm, the earth became the new sky.
From afar, the centermost part of the Celestial Realm erupted for all to witness, and with it came shockwaves spreading at insane speeds, reducing countless races and civilizations to dust.
The center part's earth was still gaining altitude far above the distant clouds while the fully visible shockwaves snapped forests, moved lakes, altered oceans and annihilated everything else.
The world's end was near.
All of it from a single hand, the meteor of doom.
And the cause of this shocking cataclysm were Alexander's reflexes.
'I actually panicked!' Biting his lip, Alexander had starry bloodshot eyes. Veins of colors disrupted his vision and his stomach felt sore.
Because of the implications, Alexander made a mistake. Caused from his sudden surge in nervousness and unease, he did not hold back when eliminating these experts. Origin Energy was not used thankfully, or his entire Origin Core might have imploded.
This reckless move caused his Origin Core to be thrown into disarray. As for the most glaring damage... it could be considered a semi self-destruction.
Vomiting dark sparkly blood, Alexander felt human limitations catch up to him.
He was not a robot, and mistakes were bound to happen one day or the other. Fortunately, it happened when relatively safe and at a solid enough powerful cultivation base.
As for his blow, it also met his goal, killing all of these experts... alongside all beings in his Celestial Realm. Which was not intended.
However, the true damage was the one aimed at his own self.
"I won't accept this!! I, Alexander... cannot make such a mistake!!"
Still vomiting, Alexander soon realized his entire Celestial Realm to have almost been shattered into pieces. A giant gaping hole had even formed in the center, the Universes below, far away, now in full display.
Thankfully, his body was resilient. But it could still not fully dissipate the raging energies rampaging his meridians.
"I can fix this! I will fix it!! My cultivation! It's showing signs of crumbling!!" Sweating profusely, Alexander tried everything he could think of to heal himself. Unfortunately, such a trauma could not be healed so easily.
"Argh!!!"
"Fuck!!"
Howling to the dark world, Alexander clung onto his lucidity, ignoring the pain and nausea, rushing toward a safe destination in pure agony, feeling deep anger directed at himself.
