Almost tearing up from such humiliation, Julia Fellav felt pain clutch her heart without remorse. She felt her intention of avenging her predecessors to be nothing but empty air. Delusional dreams. Stupid ambitions.
She could not even tell when her mind had already been subdued by her opponent. And she was not alone in this plight. All beings within this battlefield felt the same, that Monarch Lu was a being too strong to even gaze upon.
This oppression, capable of even making the minds shiver and dreams crumble...
Alexander himself knew of this significance, his eyes shaking.
'Divine!!'
While cultivation realms held honorary titles such as divine, god, and such... the real meaning of divinity, godhood... was more about imagination.
How strong should a being be for someone to consider it as truly divine?
One would need to be undefeated...
And so even inside the dreams of another!
To be victorious even within the imagination of someone unknown...
Other than absolute, not many words could describe such prowess.
And this Monarch Lu already began exuding such might. This gave Alexander goosebumps. Standing near such a being was already taxing as it was, but this thought turned his Martial Heart upside down! His ambition rose a notch further. He had proof just ahead that such an exaggerated feat of dominance was not impossible! It did not even matter if it was an artifact or a secret technique, this feat had already been proven right in front of his very eyes!
And as his body turned from freezing to burning, the Frozen Dream Sect abruptly retreated with their tail between their legs. The Ninth Martial Dynasty's Monarch Lu... his presence alone deterred such a powerful faction!
The Nihility Realm... Alexander had countless questions and doubts. He could not believe this realm to be so powerful yet so strange. How could it be? Why were there so many people spread across this realm with such a vast difference in between them?
It was a first. For the first time, a major realm caused Alexander a true nightmarish headache from utter confusion. Not because of a complex level of intricacy, the Origin Realm was the champion in that regard, but in mysteries instead!
Who was Monarch Lu? Was he really at the Nihility Realm? Was he doing something wrong this entire time? How come some people's Nihility Realm exuded such oppression while others... not so much?
There was only one road paved ahead made for him to discover each secret... He only had to keep going and cultivate further. Until nothing felt like a mystery, until all became slaves of his will!
If Monarch Lu was really so strong, then he would crush him when multiple levels above! And for that, he first needed to escape from Valtos' influence.
To do so, Alexander only knew one fairly reliable method.
'Where will I be able to find a stealth technique? If I have my cultivation base hidden, Valtos wouldn't care about me so much... would he? He wouldn't... right? Haha... He can't see through it right?' A chuckle escaping his mouth, it only caught Valtos' attention for a moment.
'This is going to be a pain~...'
The only real issue Alexander now faced for his plan to be acted upon... was the problem itself, Valtos. Would he keep him nearby? Would he restrict his freedom?
Depending on the answer, Alexander might need more than some time to escape this prison.
While Limbo was a fantastical place for him and his dreams... it was also one of the most restricting yet. Not only because of his current issues, but because of his own knowledge. His wisdom granted him greater freedom of mind, but this also showed him how truly insignificant, lost and stuck he was.
"Senior Valtos, what will happen from now on? Can't I just go now? The Frozen Dream Sect has been defeated, I don't need to stay-"
"Then go away! Shoo!"
His facial expression full of incredulity, Alexander pursed his lips before turning around and fleeing as fast as he could.
He would not stay to change Valtos' carefree attitude!
And with a body lighter than a cloud of feathers, he vanished.
With a clear goal in mind, Alexander reappeared, only to disappear again.
Teleporting as many times as he felt necessary, he darted ahead with a direction already visualized. His current goal was to reach the Nihility Realm's peak. And then, he would finally be able to seriously consider whether to change territories or not.
After the Nihility Realm, Alexander would need to reach the Chaos Archetype Realm. However, he currently did not even know what the two remaining stages within the Nihility Realm were all about.
The first one, Void Returning, was easily seen through. It was a natural phenomenon, a stage all should know by that point. But the other two... he did not receive such luxury.
'If I go back and ask Valtos... yeah, let's avoid that if possible.'

To gather information, Alexander needed to inspect crowded spaces. To use or not his soul searching techniques, he was still debating inside.
'Would be more efficient if I did.' Resolute, his silver figure of light pierced Limbo and travelled across the empty black space of wonders and emptiness.
A star shining... illuminating the darkness. His current drive a raging sun, an indomitable emotion!

.
In the middle of nowhere...
A world of purple.
It was held tightly in place by an invisible force. This purple bead of mountains and seas was glowing ever so slightly. And deep inside a dark and lush forest of purple within its boundaries, Alexander was currently walking.
It had been a few years since he first arrived on this world, and since then, he kept destroying city after city. The population was not so dense, but there were more than enough people.
As for the information he stole until now... it did not amount to anything much. Most of it was simply worthless.
But this time around, when he was currently waiting for some assassins to ambush him, he would find himself intrigued.
As he kept walking, one step at a time, dozens of black robed people lunged at him from the trees' crowns. They held daggers, swords and other weapons, all the while rushing at him from all sides.
Unfortunately, small assassins below the Universe Realm would never amount to much against a Nihility Realm expert.
Butchered without even the opportunity to revolt, Alexander, once again on this day, used his soul searching technique.
'Oh?' Finally freed from the worthless piles of insignificant memories, Alexander obtained a rather interesting piece of information.
The group leader of these assassins not only intended on killing him, but also someone else.
This person was a young man, and apparently, his master was rumored to be quite powerful.
'Well if it isn't what I was looking for?'
Hidden deep into the purple forest of blue mushrooms and exotic wildlife, a mountain of faint light-brown, as if an ethereal shade, blocked the way forward.
And, at the bottom of it, a cave entrance could be spotted.
As for the man currently walking inside, it was none other than Alexander himself.
'How troublesome... having to explore this place. But did they really believe my Divine Sense to be non-existent? Why bother with mazes in a cultivation world? Stupid.'
Skillfully directing himself, Alexander took the correct path each time, not bothering himself with the myriad others.
And at the core of the mountain, past the mazes, traps and arrays, his foot landed inside a giant cave.
The purple glow of the forest revived within, the cave had its ceiling's altitude almost as high as the mountain peak itself. It was as if most of the mountain was hollow to begin with. A mere husk of rocks covering the secret base.
And far to his left, atop a few wide stairs, a cushion.
This light-brown cushion was being pressed by someone's bottom, currently sitting cross-legged on it.
This person, old and decrepit, opened his eyes with difficulty.
The old man showed wrinkles, ashen grey long and unkept hair with a withering air.
Yet...
When it came down to aura, this old man was no insignificant ant. The burst of energy happening as a consequence of Alexander's disruption caused the mountain to quake.
Unfortunately for this old man, while not an ant... he was no angel either. An ant would be stepped on, and his above average strength, as if a humongous elephant, was no match for Alexander, currently soaring high above the clouds.
This exchange of limited aura told everything words could convey, except faster.
The old man was the prey, and Alexander was the predator. One at the Earth Transcending Realm's peak, while the other was a giant step further.
"Young master... what can this old thing do for you under this fine weather?"
"Good choice." Throwing the honorifics away, Alexander even ripped all decorum and commended the old man's choice between life and death.
"What you can do... is let me search your soul!"
A dry, hoarse chuckle escaping the old man's mouth, this same decrepit face fell shortly after.
"Sir... while I appreciate the honesty and your straightforward attitude..."
"Why not ask me to die instead?" Watching the old man's face twist in irritation and unrestrained wrath, Alexander ignored it with a lighthearted smile.
"I guess I might as well. But, remember that soul searching techniques can leave you alive!"
"..."
"Sir, while true, what is the difference exactly? Because if we leave out life and death as finite concepts, there will be no difference."
"Let alone being left on the brink of death, clinging onto my miserable life devoid of hope, I will also be thrown naked into the pits your memories are."
Alexander, hearing all of this, had his eyes lose their apparent gentleness. Instead, they looked at the old man with indifference. And after taking a deep breath, he parted his lips with charming leisure.
"If it is your final choice... then I must abide by it."
Gulping audibly, the old man felt his heart pump faster, ready for battle.
Noticing the old man, formerly on his cushion, now right in front of his face, Alexander scoffed audibly.
"Futile."
The old man teleported right in front of Alexander, his fist crashed onto his casual expression. Shockwaves causing the uneven floor to erupt as if a volcano all around them, the mountain quaked for the second time in a single day.
Dust clearing, the old man watched in disbelief as his hand looked nothing like it used to.
Blood permeated its surface, while bones as if Universes peeked through the mangled flesh.
This outcome was not unexpected by any means, but the old man could not help himself from being surprised.
As for the rest of his body, it already showed signs of breaking apart.
And tearing apart the silence birthed after this sudden attack was Alexander's voice.
"Old man..."
"You were already in bad shape, and now you even attempted to teleport without a Nihility Realm cultivation base..."
"Was this perhaps... a last ditch effort? But no matter. You will die today."
The young man of silver, his robes still fluttering from the incessant shockwaves prior, extended his arm.
And with a grabbing motion, caught the old man's skull with ease.
"Let me see for myself... the secrets your life holds!"
Leaving the purple world was Alexander.
After discovering exciting information from the old man's memories, he waited for the disciple to come back before killing him as well.
Now free of worries, he advanced across the void of Limbo in search of a distant, collapsed blue world.
North-east of Limbo, past the purple world of exaltation, deep into the desolate space, there lies the Lost Sea...
Holding the secrets of the world, the Lost Sea will hold the opportunity all desire. And interfering against one, it can only be one's arrogance.
Do not cross the path you cannot endure, greed must be leashed and patience should be rewarded.
Only the worthy shall enter the graveyard of many.
Even after searching the old man's soul, Alexander was left with cryptic sentences the old man himself did not fully comprehend. Not because of stupidity, but lack of opportunities.
From what he uncovered, the old man yearned for this place, but could not find the strength to move. This was logical as far as Alexander was aware. The old man could not even endure a little teleportation.
As for the sentences... the old man only found them by chance billions upon billions of years ago, when he was once young and hopeful.
With a general idea of the direction and the lack of worlds populating Limbo, Alexander only took around seventy years to find said world.
And right in front of him was a giant blue world, an entire quarter of it blown to pieces, fragments of dark earth, near black rocks, floating close to it.
Without hesitation, Alexander landed on its surface, a clear goal in mind.
