As Ann begins to feel drowsy in Nicholas’s arms as they have a heart-to-heart talk. Enjoying each other’s company Ann talks to him so comfortably. She tells him how her previous relationships were and how happy she is with him. Nicholas listens and giving Ann a loving smile.
“Nick I am so happy I have you,” Ann says. “I just feel so comfortable, like nothing can hurt me.”
“Ann, you are putting me on a pedestal again,” Nicholas says smiling uncomfortably. “Ann there is something I need to tell you,” Nicholas voice is now serious in a different way, one that Ann hasn’t heard before.
“What?” Ann says smiling. “You said you’ll tell me after fencing class. You haven’t yet. What is it?”
“I think you should rest,” Nicholas says sighing regrettably. “You had an eventful day.”
“Tell me when I wake up,” Ann says as she yawns.
“I promise,” Nicholas says, though concerned about what he promised, he is ready, to be honest with her. His assuring eyes make her feel safe as she drifts off to sleep with Nicholas by her side.
Back at the station, Oscar begins to fear the worst as he realizes something. What if Gregory didn’t say ‘heart’ tattoo but instead said ‘art’ tattoo. He remembers how he saw the letter's A, R and T on Nicholas’s arm. Nicholas explained it stood for amazing, respectful and talented. The first letters of these words were large and easily noticeable compares to the rest of the word. They were written one below the other, causing many people to see it as ART, even Oscar at first. Nicholas was also at the hospital and he knew that Gregory was out of his coma. He fit the exact profile of the killer and he remembers how Nicholas casually mentioned his shoe size was 8. Just then Tom enters the room where he sees Oscar, Dean and Benjamin waiting. Oscar looks up at concerned as he abruptly stands up.
“Where was Nicholas the night Scarlet was murdered,” Oscar snaps.

“What?” Tom asks looking confused as Dean steps forward and tells him the date.
“You had an event on that day right?” Benjamin asks.
“That’s right,” Tom replies as Oscar lets out a momentary sigh of relief.
“I told you Nicholas couldn’t be there. He was busy with this live event all night,” Benjamin says looking relieved.
“All night?” Tom asks as everyone stares at him. “What is going on?”
“Just answer the question, sir. Was Nicholas with you at the event?” Dean asks.
“Yes. He was at the event but it wasn’t all night,” Tom says. “It was live in a way but it was recorded a few hours before it was aired. Nick left early from that event too.” Tom recalls as everyone looks at him shocked. “Can someone tell me what’s wrong?”
“Oscar thinks Nicholas is the one who killed Scarlet and Gregory,” Benjamin replies as Tom laughs.
“Him? No way!” Tom says laughing. “Nicholas is a nice guy. He would never…” Tom is interrupted by Oscar.
“He fits the profile perfectly. His height, his weight. And now we found out that he has an ‘art’ tattoo, which was Gregory’s last words before dying.”
“Oscar also said no one knew Gregory had woken up except for me, Maria, Ann, and Nicholas, and that night he was found dead,” Benjamin adds.
“Wait, why can’t it be Maria? She’s crazy anyway!” Tom asks.
“That’s because the wounds inflicted were done by a man,” Oscar replies as an officer comes into the room with a report in his hand. Dean looks horrified as he says.
“We ran the name Nicholas Fisher. There is no previous record of this man.”
“Wait, that can’t be right,” Tom says.
“Tom, he moved here over a year ago didn’t he?” Benjamin says now looking concerned. “You introduced me to him, did you know anything about him before that?” Tom thinks back to their meeting and realizes Nicholas was so friendly he never bothered doubting him for a second. As Tom stands there speechless he looks around and sees the hoodie in a plastic packet on the table.
“Where did you get that?” Tom asks.
“The killer was wearing this, do you know something?” Oscar asks.
“That’s mine,” Tom says as everyone looks at him. “I mean; I have one just like it.”
“Where is it?” Oscar asks.
“Nick borrowed it,” Tom says softly. “He said he lost it and told me he’ll buy me another one.”
