As Benjamin sits there for a moment, he takes a deep breath and stands up.
“Are you sure it is her?” Benjamin asks with teary eyes.
“I am afraid so,” Dean says with Oscar staring at him unsympathetic.
“We will get the one who did this. You know that,” Oscar says in a condescending tone.
“What is that supposed to mean?” Benjamin asks becoming frustrated.
“Nothing,” Dean says trying to defuse the situation only to be interrupted by Oscar.
“It means that I will catch the one responsible,” Oscar says as he gets in Benjamin’s face. “Other people might believe your innocence but I do not. I will find out how you did this and you will be arrested.”
“I did not do this!” Benjamin shouts while Oscar stares at him unbothered. Benjamin wipes his tears, turns around and walks away leaving the groceries on the ground. Dean looks at Oscar as Oscar brushes off his stare. Dean tells him to drive Ann home while he handles Maria. On getting into the car Ann looks at him furiously.
“How are you feeling?” Oscar asks as they get into the car.
“Upset… and mad.” Ann says as Oscar nods his head. “What did you say to him?”
“Nothing that needn’t be said,” Oscar replies calmly.
“He was with me that night you know. There is no way he,” Ann is interrupted by Oscar.
“I know,” Oscar says firmly. “But that doesn’t mean that he didn’t hire someone or maybe,”
“What do you have against him Oz?” Ann asks. “I don’t think he.”
“You don’t think?” Oscar says trying not to get angry. “Just because you don’t think he could kill someone doesn’t mean that.”

“I know!” Ann says firmly as they both turn silent.
“Look, call it a gut feeling, but I think he did it.” Oscar says trying to explain himself.
“A gut feeling?” Ann replies. “That’s what you are going on?”
“Yes,” Oscar says. “I just feel he is bad news. That’s why I wanted you to stay away from him!”
“Everyone is not out to get me,” Ann says firmly. “Unless you give me some solid proof, I don’t see any reason I should stay away from him.” Ann words silence Oscar as he is mentally preparing to find the one who killed Scarlet. The two of them stay quiet the rest of the car ride, both in deep thought.
Meanwhile, Benjamin runs home feeling a great sorrow coming over him. As he opens the door he sees Fiona who is getting ready to cook.
“What happened to you?” Fiona asks noticing Benjamin’s horrified expression as he storms in and goes to his room. “Ben,” she calls out as she follows him into his room. Benjamin lies down on the bed, burying his face in a pillow. “Ben, what happened?” Fiona asks sitting beside him patting his back. After a few minutes of crying bitterly, Benjamin slowly moves away from the pillow, his eyes red and filled with tears.
“She’s gone,” Benjamin says. “They found her body. Scar is dead,” Benjamin says burying his face in the pillow once again.
“Ben, I am so sorry,” Fiona says hugging him as he now cries on her shoulder.
“You know what’s worse,” Benjamin says trying to control his tears. “That stupid detective thinks I did it!” he says as he continues to weep.
“You listen to me right now!” Fiona says finding it unbearable to see her brother cry. “The truth will prevail ok. That cop has no idea what he’s talking about, I know you can never hurt her. Everyone knows,” Fiona says comforting her brother.
“I am sorry Fiona,” Benjamin says. “I don’t think I can make it to dinner.”
“Shut up,” She says wiping tears from his eyes. “We can do that some other time ok,” she says as she continues to comfort him.
After Oscar drops off Ann, she goes to her house furious and finds Nicholas waiting for her.
“Hello, beautiful,” Nicholas says noticing her blatant frustration. “What?”
“My idiot brother. That is what!” Ann says annoyed as she tries to control her anger. “He thinks Benjamin killed his wife.”
“What?” Nicholas asks confused.
“They found her body,” Ann says trembling as Nicholas hugs her. “He looked so devastated. He looked heartbroken and Oscar just had to make the situation worse.”
“What did he do?” Nicholas asks.
“I don’t know,” Ann says as she hugs Nicholas. “I heard shouting and Ben stormed off in tears.” She pauses for a moment and lets herself relax in Nicholas’s arms. “His sister-in-law didn’t help either, she attacked him and called him a murdered.”
“What?” Nicholas says as he notices Ann looking angry. “Ann, do you really believe his innocence?” He asks surprising Ann.
