Earlier at the hospital, Andrew had told Ben he might know where Ann is and that was all Ben needed to hear. He was desperate, his sister was injured and the growing fear of what could happen to his girlfriend was enough for him to hear Andrew out.

“The night I collapsed at your cabin; I was kidnapped by a mad doctor. I think you can fill in the details of what he was planning to do to me, anyways I escaped but it wasn’t without getting injured. When I woke up, I had no memory of what had happened the previous night, or anything else for that fact. That’s was until Dr. Kai followed me here.”

“What?” Ben says listening impatiently, questioning the story he is being told.

“Yes, over the past couple of weeks, I began to remember. I didn’t want to believe it either but, when I saw him here, I knew it wasn’t a dream. Anyways I pretended that I didn’t remember anything and I thought he was planning something on me but …”

“So now he’s after Ann?”

“I think I know where they took her.”

Despite Ben’s doubts, he convinced Oscar to cooperate. Having nothing else to go on, this was their best chance to save Ann. As per their plan, they decided to let Andrew rescue Ann, while they created a diversion and pull the fire alarm. It worked for the most part, they noticed Kai taking the fire exit coming out of the building.

“He was right,” Oscar said as Ben nods in agreement. The two men were both surprised and relieved to know Andrew was telling the truth however they still had doubts until.

“Where did he go?” Ben notices that Kai is no longer to be seen.

“Let’s go,” Oscar declares.

“What if this is a trap,” Ben says as he and Oscar discuss the different scenarios and possibilities of what is awaiting them inside the building.

“That’s the signal!” Clarissa shouts. Andrew had taken a green smoke bomb with him, he said if he was ever found out, he will use it to signal them, and he did. Oscar was now ready for action and was determined to find his sister. Soon they found Kai and his brother who was on the ground coughing.

“Wait…” Kai says in a concerned voice. “You don’t understand he will kill Ann,” he says coughing.

“What do you mean?” Oscar says sounding concerned as Ben also joins them in the arrest. “Andrew… that man, he wants to kill her!” Kai says sounding concerned causing both Ben and Oscar to pause momentarily.

“What are you trying to say?” Ben mutters now growing worried.

“Ben, you know me, right?” Kai pleads. “You have to find her before he does anything! He’s a monster, he set this whole thing up!” Ben contemplates what to do, but he thinks back to this entire scenario and realises, everything that Andrew said has happened… even this.

‘Is he telling the truth?’ both Ben and Oscar think as they look at each other.

“Please! He has taken her to the roof, there’s no saying what he’s doing to her there,” Kai says desperately noticing he is no longer being questioned. As he is ready to deliver a few more lines, he is abruptly stopped after he hears someone coughing.

“Interesting,” Clarissa says stepping forward, with arrogance and disdain at the tip of her tongue. “That’s not what your brother said.”

“He’s not my brother,” Kai says hoping to hide the truth as Python looks on confused. “This man is sick and he needed my help. That’s why he came to visit me. He wanted to help so badly that…”

“That he threw a couple of blood-stained bills on a counter in exchange for medicine?” Clarissa looks at Python knowing easy prey when she sees it. “Did you forget that you left your DNA sample there that day? An old friend of mine brought it for testing finding that wound on your arm strange. Now tell me, was that from helping out your brother or murdering someone for fun?”

“My brother would never…” Python says and then coughs.

“I have no…” Before Kai can say anything, he is cut off by the stubborn Clarissa who briefly looks at him to share a deadly stare.

“This will be much easier if you just own up now,” Clarissa says smirking. “You don’t want your precious doctor to get hurt now do you?” The fear in Python’s eyes told it all. With a nod from Clarissa, Oscar grabbed Kai and started beating him.

“Stop!” Python shouts panicking at what he’s witnessing.

“This is ridiculous, I have rights,” Kai protests but Oscar is blinded by rage as he lands a few more blows.

“I did it!” Python admits. And before Kai can intervene Ben covers his mouth with his hand and soon the words just begin pouring out of the desperate Python’s mouth.
