“I did it!” Python admits in a desperate tone. “I need a liver transplant and Kai was trying to get it for me,” he admits as Kai begins to panic thinking of anything and everything that could stop him. “He tried everything but…,” Python continues. “We had no choice. This was the only way… we had to look for a donor for me! That’s why we came up with this plan… I swear we never meant to hurt anyone, Kai just…,” Kai quickly bites Ben’s hand causing him to let go.
“What is wrong with you! Just get away from here!” Kai shouts and Python breaks away from the people restraining him and like a robot, he follows his brother’s orders and runs away with policemen in pursuit.
“Oscar! Ben!” Clarissa says as the two men rush after Python, while the other officers restrain Kai.
“He is crazy,” Kai says as he stares at Clarissa. “He’s dangerous, he left me here and…”
“You expect me to believe that he was lying?” Clarissa interrupts.
“You believe that rubbish?” Kai responds in a concerned tone. “You will soon understand what I mean and what he’s capable of.”
‘SHOT’
For a moment Kai smiles and then reverts back to his compassionate persona.
Meanwhile, Nicholas embraces Ann, they stay there silently in each other’s arms silently both wanting to say so much but not finding the words. Everything was out in the open, everything was bright and clear, even the fact that when Nicholas leaves this time, he will never be coming back.
Just then, they hear someone frantically screaming and running upstairs. Nicholas takes a few steps ahead curious about what’s happening, but he is surprised to see Python now bursting through the door, having almost lost his sanity. He rushes towards them looking as if he had gone insane and he fires two bullets. Nicholas immediately jumps in front of Ann and is now on the ground. As the gunshots are fired, a group of police offers rush in and tackle Python to the ground before he can shoot Ann. Pinned down, they ask him where he got the weapon from, as he stares at Ann angrily who only notices Nicholas now covered in a pool of blood. Ann who is horrified with what she’s just witnessed, rushes to Nicholas’s side.

As Andrew and Oscar hear the gunshot, they rush even faster praying Ann is all right. As they get there, they are horrified to see Ann is now covered in blood, while holding Andrew. They come to assist her only to discover she is perfectly fine and the blood is from none other than Andrew. The men feel guilty realizing their doubts and concerns were not only baseless but completely wrong. The police officers tend to him as much as they can, trying to keep him alive, but that proved too much of a task, as he breathed his last breath right in front of them. Ann breaks down from what happened and though the time of death wasn’t told to her, she knew what happened.
As Andrew’s body is taken to the hospital, Ann couldn’t hold back her tears and is now mourning for him. Ben and Oscar both comfort her as they drive to the hospital, as Ann too needs to get medical attention and she doesn’t object. At the hospital, with emotions at an all-time high Oscar finally comes face to face with Fiona, who was resting in one of the other rooms, unaware of what happened.
Standing at the door he takes a step forward making himself visible to her and she immediately sits up and stares at him. They silently look at each other, as Fiona asks about Ann. Following a brief update with Oscar trying to control his emotions, they soon embrace and cry finding comfort in one another, while leaving the difficult conversations for another day.
Ben smiles on seeing this and he immediately returns to Ann who is still crying uncontrollably. She is being comforted by Emma who embraces her as she sheds a few tears as well. Ben stands in the hallway for a while, just watching Ann cry, Emma soon gestures for him to come in. He comes close to her and wipes her tears, despite being happy to see him, knowing she’s alive, the pain of seeing Nicholas die takes her over. As she continues to cry Ben embraces her, comforting her and allowing her the opportunity to unleash every emotion she wants to express. There was a lot going through his head that evening, and many questions about Andrew, who he had strongly suspected was Nicholas. But all that didn’t matter now, because what he saw had convinced him of one thing.
‘I don’t care who that man was anymore, all I know is he saved Ann’s life. And it’s because of him I have her with me and that I am grateful for.’
