We spent the night lecturing and grinding the importance of keeping his mouth sealed to his friends about my identity.
Of course, knowing him he would sooner or later spill everything so instead, I grabbed him outside to reveal few details about his search history recently gave him some extra incentive to not spill anything lest.
Jack sighed tiredly before he went out of the room. However, before he left, he looked at me in excitement. “Can I try your armor?”
“You can but it will crush your limbs within seconds of wearing it. The protection I layered on my armor is not for a joke.” I told him which earned a pale face from him and he quickly walked back to his room.
Mum and dad soon left the room leaving just Natasha and me alone.
We got onto our bed. "David?"
"Yeah?" I looked into Nat's eyes.
"Do you think we will have a boy or girl?" Nat asked me.
"I think we might have both." I guessed earning a look of confusion from her. "I mean fraternal twins aren't out of the odds right?"
Nat rolled her eyes at me. "Then what will you name our baby if he is a boy?"
"I don't know but I have a name for a girl though." Seeing the curious look in her eyes I whispered into her ears the name I had thought of if it was a baby girl.
Nat smiled hearing the name. She looked at me before nodding her head. "You are getting better at the romantic side of things."
"You like it?" I asked her only for her to pinch my nose.
"Ow! Ow! Ow!" I grabbed her hand causing her to relax her hold on my nose.
"What are you trying to get out of me by buttering me up?" I grinned as I shrugged my shoulders.
"Can't I get my beautiful wife some sweet butter every once in a while?" I asked back. She chuckled as she moved her hand and caressed my hair.
We began our mindlessly chattering about little details of the future with our children, beginning with Nat's choice of name if our baby was a boy.
In fact, we didn’t sleep until 3 am as we kept talking and talking. There was something fun, satisfactory and fulfilling about planning out your future with your family of your family. It's something that can't be explained in words.
We were woken up at 6 in the morning by Jack’s alarm for school. Being a light sleeper meant Nat was easily woken up by the minute amount of noise which in return woke me. Over the past few years, I had picked up on her habit of being a light sleeper which was rather annoying.
Natasha looked at me tiredly. "Shall we have some breakfast before coming back to sleep again?" I suggested.
"Why can't we just sleep in?" She asked me back as she tightly wrapped her arms around me.
"As comfy as this is, mum and dad will wake us up for breakfast in 2 hours. So, we should eat something now and sleep in rather than getting some incomplete sleep."
Hearing my suggestion Nat groaned. "I don't want to."
I smiled as I leaned in and placed a kiss on my wife's forehead. "Up you get beautiful." I picked her up before placing her feet on the floor, much to her annoyance.
"I am so not going to leave you alone when the craving comes in." She threatened me.
"Gladly princess." We walked out and I cooked something for breakfast. Finished with breakfast we went back to our room just as mum came out from her room.
“Why did you not sleep yesterday? I could hear you talking when I woke at 2 am.” She asked us.
“Jetlag mum. We made some breakfast and ate some for ourselves. We are going to sleep for a while.” I told her to which she nodded.
Getting back into bed we drifting off to the sweet dreamland once more.
I slowly woke up to find it was now 11 am. Due to me being awake, Nat opened her eyes and looked at me with a smile. "Shall we get ready to start our new lives?" Nat asked me to which I nodded.
"Let's go."
We invited both mum and dad to come with us as we went back to our new home. Needless to say, when I arrived the house was pretty much bugged with spying pieces of equipment.
“One second,” I told them as I took my phone out and typed something.
“Rats?” Natasha asked me to which I nodded.
“What happened?” Dad asked us.
“Someone bugged the whole house,” Natasha informed them as they looked kind of worried.
“Ok done. It was MI5, nothing to worry about. All of the devices are down.” I told them as I walked in.
“Is this something normal?” Mum asked us as she got in.
“Pretty much normal for us,” I responded back casually.
We showed them around the house and some of the bugging devices much to our parents' fascination. "I have to say I never thought the day would come when I could see these things play out in real life," Dad said as he rolled in his fingers the tiny spherical camera.

Nat and I chuckled as mum sat down on a spare sofa. “What do you need out and what do you need to buy?”
Nat turned towards mum to reply. “Pretty much everything. Going to give all the usable furniture to charity and buy new ones.”
“So, Ikea?” Mum asked.
“Ikea.” We all nodded.
Mum got up annoyed at the fact that she has to stand as soon as she sat down and went out to the endless Ikea with us. We started with beds for our bedrooms and moved on from there.
Mum and dad left after a while and left us to choose everything by ourselves.
Like that we spent the whole day there shopping for everything we needed. We booked everything to be delivered in 1 week.
By the time we left Ikea, it was 6 pm.
Like that we spent the next 2 days shopping for everything we needed. Walking in and out of shopping malls, stores, etc were practically our lives for the next 2 days.
Then began the event of shifting out and cleaning everything up. *Achoo* I looked at Nat who was sweeping the corner where a cupboard used to sit with a broom. "No, I won't stop and rest." As if knowing what I was going to ask Nat replied.
"Fine, but if you haven't finished by the time I have shifted the cupboard down then I will be forced to help you," I warned her as I went out of the room to see a rather large cupboard.
"Yeah, but you can't use your bots, magic, or superpowers." She added on a rule to which I grinned.
"Woman lo and behold your mighty husband!" Rolling up my sleeves I hugged the cupboard.
Nat stopped what she was doing and stood by the door to make sure I wasn't cheating.
Without activating any sort of power I lifted the cupboard up. "I told you, no superpower." Nat reminded me.
I grinned hearing this. "This is no superpower sweetheart." I walked towards the stairs carrying the cupboard that barely weighed anything to me. "This is the culmination of years of intense training."
Seeing her slackjawed was the best thing ever as I went down to deposit the cupboard. "That is still cheating." She called after me.
"You wish!" I shouted back. "When I come back up, you are taking a break whether you like it or not."
Our cleaning up went like this until the house was finally empty and it was time to paint.
"Okay, how do we do this?" I asked Nat looking at the hologram of the house.
"Deep aqua for the hallway." Nat dragged and dropped the deep aqua colour onto the hallway to see what the hallway would look like.
"Not bad, how about some nice patterns of coral leaves?" I suggested causing several coral leaves of various colours to appear in the hallway.
"And where are you going to find the pattern stencils?" Nat enquired.
"I will draw it myself." Nat looked at me in question.
"Not that I doubt your artistic skills, but I always assumed art would be your weak side considering you were good at everything." I pouted hearing that.
"I will have you know I aced art in my high school. I just didn't focus on it, simply because I didn't care about it." I defended my art skills.
"Is there anything you are not good at?" She asked me.
"So far just romantic compliments and trying to get you to see I am good at everything." We both chuckled as we finalised the remaining colours and patterns around the house.
Each room had a different colour and theme, like the hallway which was the sea theme there had deep aqua coloured paintings and beautiful coral paintings over it.
Nat and I got to painting the house on our own. While she painted I just drew the patterns for each room carefully.
Few weeks passed by before we finally finished redecorating our whole house. Of course, I threw out all the bugging devices much to the MI5’s annoyance.
I started tutoring Jack for 1 hour every day online since Natasha and I moved to our own house. He was reluctant but a self-made drawing pad, given to him in return for keeping the secret about me and attending the tutorial sessions on time was well appreciated by him.
Once all the re-decorating was done Natasha and I, naturally, grew restless doing nothing but sitting around. Usually, she had or could have expected missions. Now both of us had nothing to do and sat around bored. “So quiet David,” Nat whined as she leaned on me.
"You know we could actually try going to different places, only this time it won't be for a mission but for ourselves," I suggested as I remembered what Nat told me when she first got into my yacht. 'You know I never really got on a yacht unless it was for a mission.'
Lifting her head from my shoulder she looked at me for a few moments before a small glow emerged. "But we have to go slowly through every place and not rush it." She added a condition which I was rather happy to agree.
So, we started driving to new places, trekking, and camping to keep us occupied.
We started with Clint's place. Clint, Laura, and their kids much to their happiness and joy to find Nat pregnant, which led to us having a small celebration party for Nat.
We stayed for 2 days before both of us came back home to resume our journey.
"We really need to tell others," Nat informed me as she packed the bag for our 3 day trip to Snowdonia.
"About?" I asked her as I debated between a water gun or water balloons. We limited only 1 fun item per trip, lest we exhausted ourselves.
Nat stopped packing before she glared at me. "About us being pregnant."
Choosing the deflated water balloon I placed it in my bag as I looked at her. "Alright, but who else do we have to tell?" I asked her without thinking as I focused my attention on noticing the 'Don't Break the Ice' game set in her bag.
"..." I shifted my attention to Nat to see her blank look.
"Umm... sorry. I will tell Bruce." I grabbed my phone only for her to peek at my choice of a fun game.
Grabbing my phone, I video called Bruce.
*Ring* The phone ran for a while as I carried on packing.
*Clack* "Mhmm... not now..." Both Nat and I lifted our heads up hearing a very familiar female voice from the phone.
On the video call was a rather interesting make-out session with someone…“He accidentally clicked it right?” I confirmed with Natasha as I made sure I didn't activate the hijacking software to accept his call for him. Meanwhile, Nat was too focused on seeing the video to figure out who the woman was that was going down on the bed blocked by Bruce.
“Holy crap isn’t that Hill?” Natasha looked at Maria Hill taking off her jumper.
Thankfully, the hijacking software wasn't active which meant Bruce or Hill must have accidentally pressed 'Accept' during their activity.
"Yes, it is Nat." I hung up before we both had to witness anything more than simple tongue play.
Both of us remained silent for a while before I spoke up. “How the heck did those two wounds up together?” I asked Natasha.
“With her gathering intel on you through Bruce before, during, and after our wedding, then with her now working for Stark where Bruce is constantly cooped up it's natural they hit it off.” Natasha shrugged off the juicy matter as if it was normal.
"You are taking this rather too well." I pointed out to which Nat grinned.
"You think I should be more playful?" Nat asked me.
I shook my head. "Maybe we should start gossiping and the sorts, like those annoying people with nothing to do," I suggested which earned a grin from Nat.
"I am in." Thus we started our gossiping session as we began packing.
After an hour I called Bruce and he answered his phone, this time willingly. This time, however, in his video there was no one else except him.
“Hey David, Nat. What is up?” He greeted us.
“…” We kept staring at him for few seconds before Natasha grabbed her phone and called Hill.
*Ring**Ring* Hearing the phone ringing beside Bruce got a grin out of Nat and my face. “Yeah, she is definitely there.” Natasha hung up and looked back at Bruce who had become very awkward.
“You do know it is not nice to spy on other people’s lives?” Bruce asked with more than inconvenience displayed on his face, thinking I had spied on him.
“Oh, I didn’t spy. You did this to yourself, Bruce.” I told him which confused him.
“Check your call history,” Natasha told him.
I could see him press something on his phone before he opened his mouth in shock. “I… When…How… what?”
“You accepted our call, and we were subjected to a make-out session between you two. Don’t worry we hung up as soon as Nat got a clear view of Maria’s face.” I told him.
“Tell her to come, join in we got some good news,” Natasha informed Bruce, who awkwardly turned the phone to the side to show a heavily blushing Maria sat massaging her head.
“We are expecting, and we won’t tell anyone.” Saying that both of us hung up to not make it any more awkward between them.
