Just as they walked past an alley Natalia grabbed the man by his shoulder and pushed him towards the alley.
*Crash* The man flew towards the bin and crashed onto it, before sprawling onto the floor. “What the hell?” The man groaned from the floor amongst the garbage.
“Now if I were a normal woman, I would say all men are scum…” She knelt before the man before punching directly into his face.
*Smack* The man’s head recoiled onto the floor from the impact, while Natalia ignored the pain in her fist. “Uhhh…” The man was dazed.
“…but what goes around comes around, so I just have to suck up to my lose and agree that there are scumbags like him and us in this world, who loves to manipulate people.” Blood dripped from the man’s broken nose and lips.
*Smack* Just as the man was about to recover Natalia's fist met his face once more. “UH!” His face recoiled back, but this time the dazed look slowly disappeared due to the pain, on the man's face.
Natalia slowly stood up as she waited for the man to recover. “You are good. The only problem is I don’t trust men anymore. At least those that are extra nice to me. So, please do quickly tell me before I get angry, why are you after me?” Natalia asked the injured man who looked shocked and frightened more than anything in the world.
“Wh… what do you… me…mean?” His voice trembled as he attempted to crawl back and make some distance between them.
Suddenly his face morphed into extreme pain as Natalia’s leg stepped on his manhood.
“AHHH!” He screamed in pain as he recovered complete clarity from her punch from before. The man grabbed Natalia’s leg trying to lift it, but that became a bad choice as she increased her strength.
“Stop! Seriously! I don’t even know you! I was just trying to help!” The man pleaded and begged in pitiful pain.
“I will ask you one last time, and you should probably know, since you came after me, what happens to those who make me ask twice; why are you after me?” Natalia looked at the man writhing in pain under her shoes as she increased her pressure.
“Someone named KGB e-mailed a group of us and offered us each $5 million to capture you!” The man suddenly gave up in painful tears, causing Natalia to pull her leg slightly back in shock.
“Since when?” Natalia slammed her foot back in place causing the man agonising pain once more.
“2 months…” *Bang* Natalia suddenly jumped back just as a bullet pierced the man’s head.
*Bang**Bang**Bang**Bang* Bullets started firing without stop as Natalia began running forward before taking cover behind a large waste container.
In her panic to avoid being hit, Natalia didn’t notice that the bullet that was fired towards her never made any sound at their impact when it met a surface.
The bullet stopped firing as the magazine was emptied.
Natalia peeked out from the cover to see where the shots were being fired from along with the identity of the person. Just as she noticed a woman loading her gun from the top of a roof the woman noticed her and smiled back.
She aimed her gun at Natalia causing her to duck behind her cover once more.
*Bang* The sound of a single shot resounded, and everything was quiet for a moment confusing Natalia.
*Crash* Natalia looked out of her hiding to notice the woman that had been firing at her on the floor, with blood pouring out of her head.
*NEEEOOOO* The sound of police sirens began approaching. Without wasting much time Natalia rushed towards the woman and searched her pockets.
Grabbing the phone, she ran off before the entire neighbourhood was converged with police.
20 minutes later a woman sat in the public bus with her hood up, while going through the phone in her hand.
She frowned unable to access the phone as she got off the bus and made her way towards West 47th Street, otherwise known as the Shield HQ.
Walking into the building she rushed to make it to the cyber division. “Agent Romanoff?” The receptionist called out to her, but she ignored her as she hurried to her goal.
Hurriedly walking towards the cyber division, she looked for someone she knew inside the facility. “Tinsley!” Natalia called out to the familiar woman walking towards her desktop.
“Romanoff?” Tinsley stopped in her tracks to look at Natalia.
“You need something?” Natalia nodded as she passed the phone in her hand.
“I need everything from this phone ASAP.” Tinsley frowned just as a woman with short brown hair walked behind Natalia.
“Romanoff.” Natalia looked behind to see Maria.
“Hill?” She greeted back, only to receive a non-apathetic face back as Hill looked at Tinsley and the phone in her hand.

“We need to talk.” Natalia nodded and followed after Maria.
“Do you mind explaining why you were seen running from a crime scene?” Hill asked Romanoff as they walked towards the front of the Shield HQ.
“They were after me.” Hill frowned as she heard that.
Almost every top organisation in the world knew that the Black Widow fell in love with the most expensive and powerful whore in the world. So did the people who came after her.
The KGB were betting on the aspect that the Black Widow hadn't moved on from David, and wanted to use that to their advantage. Hence why they send someone who reminded Natasha a lot of David, to make her feel close to him.
However, what most of them never took into account was the heart of a woman who was told never to love or have emotions. Although she was like every person who wanted to love, it was difficult for her to fall in love. And when she fell in love, she found that her love was like nothing she could have ever imagined. That person burned her heart in the fire of lies, making her afraid to fall in love again. Thus the doors of her heart were sealed off to anyone to never feel hurt like that again.
Then there was the aspect that no one even imagined; David visiting her 2 days ago.
“But I didn’t kill them. The man was killed by a woman who shortly died by the hands of someone I didn’t even see from the roof.” They both approached the reception causing Romanoff to become confused at their destination.
“Seems like there is a whole group after you.” Hill nodded towards the receptionist who passed the letter towards Romanoff.
“What’s this?” Romanoff grabbed the letter before looking at Hill in confusion.
“That might give you an insight on why those people were after you,” Hill stated as she stepped back allowing Romanoff to read the letter.
Romanoff hesitated as she saw the letter was addressed to her name to the Shield HQ. That meant someone that knew she was working for Shield and her identity.
“Don’t worry we examined the letter for any traps beforehand,” Hill assured Romanoff who nodded.
Romanoff looked down at the letter to see a very familiar messy handwriting.
[The Red Room was painted red with the blood of all its executives. All the remaining Widows and officials are being hunted one by one with a bullet through their head.
Be careful and don’t bother to look for us.
P.S – Fold your clothes up properly. Don’t leave them in the washing machine again like that.
Alex]
A smile slowly came up on Romanoff’s face as she read the letter before it soon turned into worry. “Red room?” Romanoff turned towards Hill who nodded.
“We just found out about it. It’s true.” Natalia at that moment felt relief like no other as she heard that.
“Then who is after me and the others?” Hill shook her head.
“We just started looking and haven’t found any lead. You got any leads from your side?” Hill asked her.
“Just someone named KGB who e-mailed a group of people to get me in return for $5 million.” Hill frowned at that message.
“How is it going in Russia?” Nat asked Hill who had an annoyed look.
“The usual with any other country: they weren’t aware of the facility still in operation and declined any involvement of it.” Hill shrugged as they began walking.
“Fury went there personally to get all related documents and should be back within few hours.” Romanoff felt a growing headache as they walked toward Hill’s office.
Seeing Hill was about to ask a question Nat spoke up. “His name is Alexei Alanovich Shostakov. But I suggest you don’t look for him because he would be off the radar by now.” Hill nodded but still took note of the name down on her phone.

*Ping* The old man looked at the message he just received. [Stephano and Beatrice failed.]
“FUCK!” The old man threw his phone away in anger.
*Ping* Another message popped up in the old man’s phone. He went towards his phone and picked it up. [The ‘One-Eyed Man’ of SHIELD is here.] The old man’s read the message in worry as he quickly walked towards his drawer. Opening it he grabbed his passport, few bank cards, and a gun.
“You know I would always come for you no matter where you hole yourself up.” The old man froze in terror before quickly turning around with his unlocked gun.
“Who are you?” The old man shouted as he quickly unlocked his gun with his trembling hands at the man standing in the dark before him.
“I wanted to slowly hunt you all one by one. To let you taste the fear and terror of impending death slowly. But after your stunt yesterday…” The man extended his hand to show his unclenched palms to reveal several crushed bullets in his hand especially a bullet tainted with blood.
“… with the close call on Nat, I don’t really feel like taking you all out slowly.” The man stepped out of the darkness.
“YOU!” The old man didn’t hesitate anymore as he quickly fired his gun. *Bang**Bang**Bang**Bang**Bang**Bang*
The old man stopped firing as he looked at David in shock seeing all the bullet stopped in front of David, held back by several small fiery orange string.
*WHIZZZ* Thousands of fiery orange strings suddenly appeared behind David.
“Devil!” The old man uttered in fear as he stepped back.
“I would have been okay with your plan to use her to find the mysterious killer of the red room, better known as me,…” The old man turned towards the door.
“HELP!” He screamed as he ran towards the door.
“… but I didn’t like the aspect of how all of you unanimously decided to force her back into the life she once left.” Just as he approached the door he felt a burning sensation on his chest.
“He…lp..” He screamed weakly in pain and horror as he looked at the thousands of orange strings going through his chest.
“Goodbye, Mr Dmitri.” *Thud* The strings disappeared as Dmitri dropped down, with his abdomen looking like a horror prop for anyone with Trypophobia.
“This is both her and your end of nightmares.” An orange portal appeared, and David walked through it disappearing from the room just as several running footsteps began sounding from outside the door.
“Mr Dmitri!” They tried breaking through the door, not aware their dead boss was lying against it making it harder to open.
*Crack* The guards broke through the door and walked in. "Fuck!" The lead guard covered his mouth in revolt, as he looked at the 1000's of holes going through the back of his employer.
Another guard walked forward and checked for a pulse to see Dimitri had passed away. "Dead." He shook his head at the others.
"Search the perimeter!" The guards got into action, in order to stay away from the unpleasant corpse of Dimitri.
One by one David resumed his hunt against the remaining officials of the Red Room and the remaining widows without mercy.
Soon, the vast majority of the influential Russians began receiving the distressing news of the passing of several key people inside and outside their country. All of them killed with thousands of holes littering their body. This terrified the unaware officials, wondering if it was another purge by their leader.
Although the death seemed random, which terrified many of the rich people or politicians, the top brass realised it was a clear cut warning to them. They realised all the dead officials were people handling the matters of the Red Room directly or the construction of a new one. It was a warning against the construction of anything like the ‘Red Room’ ever again.
However, only the dead knew it was nothing like that but rather a clear warning not to go after a certain woman.
