Episode 76-Honeymoon

I felt her heart beating in worry and curiosity as my fingers interlocked with hers. “Honeymoon outside earth.”

She looked outside with a bit of worry, just as the ship zoomed off.

I enjoyed the look of shock on her face as she peeped over the edge of our bed to see the floor was see-through. Her hold on me tightened as we watched the ground getting further and further away from us much faster than any ship on Earth.

We sat on the bed with her on my lap. Within minutes we reached space.

“Beautiful.”

Natasha said as she saw the stars, moon, and planets around us. I gave a suggestion seeing she wasn’t looking in a specific direction. “Why don’t you look at the sun?”

The look on her face was really cute. “Isn’t that bad for your eyes?”

I chuckled as I shook my head. “My ship filters out the harmful stuff, so don’t worry.”

Nat nodded as she looked in the direction of the huge source of light of this solar system. “Wow, that looks magnificent.”

It wasn’t a huge glob of light but rather my ship filtered out many of the light to show the actual orange and red furnace.

I whispered into her ears causing her to smile. “Just like your eyes.”

She suddenly realised something as she looked around.

Nat got up and tried to jump on the bed to see it was like normal gravity acting on her. She looked at me before asking. “How?”

I deadpanned as I heard that. “Do you really want to hear my boring lecture?”

I laughed hearing her reply. “On second thought I would like to keep that question to myself for a day when I feel like my day couldn’t get worse.”

*Ping* Seeing the preparation was ready for the ship I looked at Nat who was peeping from the edge of bed having a good look at the whole solar system. “You should come and sit by me very quickly.”

I warned her to which she quickly acted.

Just as we were sat comfortably, the whole space around us became warped and distorted before unravelling showing we were somewhere else.

Around us, there were spirals of galaxies. “You have got to be kidding me!”

Natasha looked at the many galaxies in front of us in disbelief.

I took her right hand and folded all her finger except for her index finger and pointed at a certain galaxy. “Milky Way.”

Then I pointed towards another nearby galaxy. “And that is where we are going.”

Suddenly the space around us warped once more and we were in front of a blue planet similar to earth. However, unlike Earth, this solar system had 2 suns and 23 planets.

“Welcome to XC12RE14.”

I told Natasha who couldn’t believe what she was seeing. She asked me.“We are in space?”

“Yes.”

“Then we were outside our galaxy?”

To which I nodded. “Then we travelled to a completely different planet?”

I told her as we started to enter the planet’s atmosphere “Yes, a completely uninhabited planet just for us. Took me a while to find it.”

Nat was in a daze as she watched the opportunity of a lifetime. Within minutes landed down successfully.

However, our ship was still invisible while our bed floated in the air surrounded by new and exotic flowers and plants.

I kissed the side of her head to awaken her from her daze. “And I got something for you.”

Nat turned to look at me. “I don’t think anything that you can get me will beat what I have seen today.”

I smiled as I went into my pocket before bringing out a small blue box much to her curious eyes. Opening the box, a blue glowing tablet laid in the centre of the box. It seemed like she realised what it was before I even needed to say it as her eyes turned red with tears. “Is that…?”

She was truly the woman who knew me better than anyone. I nodded as tears streamed from my eyes in joy seeing her so happy. I grabbed the blue glowing tablet and her right hand. I placed the tablet on her hand causing her hand to tremble. “I…”

Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings.

She was lost for words, but I couldn’t help myself to see her crying face anymore. I caressed her cheek gently as I wiped her tears. “Nat for better or for worse I am here for you.”

Her eyes moved away from the tablet towards me. Ignoring the tablet, she dropped it on the bed before she hugged me. “I don’t need it. I just need you.”

I smiled as I caressed her back. “All I need is you too.”

Her hug tightened and would have nearly crushed my ribs if not for me activating my HE serum. “I want to see you always happy and smiling, Nat. So will you take it?”

Nat shook her head. “I always thought kids would make us even happier, but you showed me that is not true David. You always find ways to make me happier and forget my pain.”

I smiled as I heard her. “Trust me, Nat, I am running out of tricks from my book. Kid’s are the last trick left on my list.”

I heard her chuckling causing my smile to enlarge. I motioned for the tablet and a nanobot carried it to my hand. I pulled Nat apart, as I looked into her bewitching green eyes that slaved my heart.

I moved the tablet to her lips, which she slowly parted for me as I placed it in her mouth. I saw her swallowing the pill.

Her whole body began to get warm at about 50 degrees Celsius for a moment before she returned back to normal. Nat looked at her hands and body in wonder as she asked me. “What happened?”

I smiled as I grabbed her hands in mine. “That was all your wounds being healed. You are currently one of the healthiest people on Earth.”

She looked down at her stomach. “Even that…”

I nodded with a smile. “Yes, even that.”

I saw her eyes slowly being overfilled. Before I could say anything she suddenly wailed. “Ahhhhhh!”

She cried and cried like an infant. We had nothing to hold back while in each other’s presence.

I held her close to my chest and rubbed her back slowly as I comforted her. “I am here for you.”

I soothed her constantly with those words as she let out everything she had been holding back. I lulled her pain just as she would always do for me when I broke down.

She suddenly stopped crying to ask me. “How… will I ever repay… you?”

“You have repaid me so much that I am in debt to you Nat, by coming into my life. This is the least I can do for us.”

I told her as I kissed her head. “Besides this was my selfishness to see you happy, have kids with you and to have a family.”

We stayed like that for a long time before we both drifted to sleep on our wedding night.

Just like how we first came together out of selfishness we entered our new life out of selfishness.

We woke up the next morning in each other’s embrace. Nat looked at me guiltily. “Sorry for last night.”

She apologised with guilt to which I replied by kissing her lips softly before moving back to have my forehead rest on hers. “How about breakfast?”

She replied to my question with a question. “Can we stay like this for a while?”

“Okay.”

I think we stayed like that until it was lunch before Nat decided it was enough. “Thank you.”

I smiled as I kissed her forehead. “The pleasure is all mine.”

She pinched my cheeks. “You are still bad at romantic compliments…”

She swayed my cheeks from side to side as I saw a smile on her face. “…but I still like it.”

We both laughed as we got out of bed and went down to the kitchen. We had some lunch before Nat, and I changed our clothes from last night to something more casual clothes to walk around in.

I asked her as we got ready to leave my yacht/ submarine/ spaceship. “You ready?”

She told me as the door slowly opened. “No matter how many times you keep asking that I don’t think I will ever be ready to step into another planet.”

I grabbed her hand as the steps laid before us to our honeymoon destination.

Before us lay a completely new world. Nat leaned on my arm. “I mean what kind of husband takes his wife to a new planet for their honeymoon?”

I replied as we began walking out. “The kind of husband who knows that his wife loves to walk around.”

We walked around the new planet looking at the beautiful fauna and alien wild creatures for a bit before we decided to camp near our ship for a while.

We started by making a small log house. With my help, it took less than 2 hours before a simple fully furnished log house was ready.

Nat gathered the remaining small woods and brought them to me. “I have never seen a house being built that quickly by 2 people.”

I chuckled as I slowly began setting up a campfire which somehow ended up as a bonfire. “I have so much to show you then Miss Romanoff.”

She chuckled as my nanobots brought out some meat from inside the ship before we began cooking it.

I turned the ship invisible after to give us the feeling we were truly alone on this planet without any intelligent life. Nat asked me as she sat on my lap with a blanket around us. “Are you good at storytelling?”

We stayed close by the fire and close to each other as night set in. “Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, about 3.14 million light-years away, in a planet with close to 7 billion…”

Nat turned her head to look at me with a blank face. “I am never letting you tell stories to our kids then.”

I chuckled as I kissed her cheeks. “Why don’t you tell me a story?”

Nat nodded as she began telling me a story of a cat and a mouse. “Tom and Jerry don’t count as a bedtime story.”

I pointed out to which she chuckled. “Didn’t think you would notice that.”

I grabbed her fingers and began playing with them. “I may be clueless with the recent pop culture, that won’t make our kids ignorant of pop cultures when they want you to tell them stories.”

We stayed and talked in front of the bonfire until late at night after which we went into our handmade house, and laid on the handmade bed.

Our night was a night filled with activity and pure joy for both of us.

Life went on like this for few days before I decided to move to another location.

This time it was a beach. Similar to last time we built a small cabin using the available materials before we started playing in the sea.

After a while we got the bonfire set up once more and had seafood this time.

Like this one month passed by, where we went to different spots and lived there for few days before moving on.

We occasionally called our family to inform them we were fine. We skipped out on the part we were on another planet altogether in order to not give my dad a heart attack.

Natasha was still confused about how I got a signal from a different galaxy to which my reply was. “Magic.”

However, she thought I was joking and counted it up to be some kind of advanced science thing. She wasn’t entirely wrong and I decided not to spoil our honeymoon with a debate of the existence of magic and whatnot.

Natasha was sad to leave after our 1 month of holiday. I slowly leaned in and nibbled her ears as she looked at our honeymoon destination moving further away. “We can come back here whenever you want.”

Natasha nodded as she turned around before leaning in and biting my ears. “Ow!”

We both chuckled.
