“What now?” I asked her not wanting to let the genuine smile on her face disappear.
“Ice cream?” She asked back.
“Sure.” I picked her up and carried her downstairs in my arms.
“I can walk.” She told me as I was walking down the stairs.
“You are being pampered today by me,” I told her back.
“If you keep pampering me like this then I might one day become entirely reliant on you.” She warned me.
“Don’t tempt me,” I answered back as I placed her on the chair and went to get the ice cream tub and a spoon.
I fed her ice cream and occasionally ate some spoons myself until she had enough. “Why do you like mango so much?” She asked me.
“Probably because I have a sweet tooth and mangoes are known to be the sweetest fruit in the world,” I answered her.
“I am getting addicted to mango thanks to you. Mango juice, Mango ice creams, Mango sweets, Mango pudding.” She stated the countless items I had in the house that was related to mango.
“Good to know another one joined the dark side.” We both laughed as I carried her upstairs where we watched a movie and fell asleep.
The next day we were woken up by my phone ringing.
I took a look to see it was my grandparents. "The nerve of these mongrels!"
I was angry seeing their number and was about to hang up when Nat pulled on my cheek. "They are our grandparents, so be nice and answer it."
Looking into her green eyes I calmed down. "Last time I did, it was out of my own selfishness which caused you pain and tears. I won't make the same mistake again." I shook my head, denying her request.
*Sigh* Nat grabbed my hands sighing. "Please for me." Her lips touched my fingers.
I wanted to say no, but I didn't like saying 'no' to her when she needed to hear acceptance from me the most.
*Inhale* *Beep*
“Hello?” I called out.
“David, it’s me.” My grandpa called from the other side.
“Yes pops. How are you doing?” I asked him awkwardly.
“How dare you tell your mum about what happened yester…” I hung up the call before he could finish it.
He wasn’t there to apologise to Nat but to scold me for snitching on him and grandma.
“David, call him back,” Natasha ordered me.
“Nat, I don’t want to. He isn’t here to apologise but to satisfy his own anger and humiliation.” I conveyed my reluctance.
“Still he is our grandfather. Please call him back and apologise.” She begged me and I listened to her.
Seeing my look of reluctance, she asked one more time. “For me?”
I sighed and called him back. “Hello, pops it’s me. My phone ran out of battery and switched off."
‘Calm mind’ I activated calm mind.
10 minutes later I put the phone down. I now knew the relationship between my grandparents, and I could never be fixed till they apologised to Nat.
“Well, that was a waste of time,” I told Nat.
Noticing the guilty look for making me call back, I said. “Again, not your fault,” I rubbed her cheeks.
“You did the right thing by making me call back. Now we are never in the wrong. We never have to lower our head feeling we did something wrong.” This earned a smile from her.
"You always make me do the right thing." I hugged her as she hugged me. "As long as you are beside me, I will never do anything that is wrong."
"You need to find a lawyer for mum." Nat reminded me.
"Yeah, I completely forgot about that." I chuckled as Nat pulled away from me.
I looked up the best lawyer in the UK for mum and dad and paid him double the amount he asked for in advance for taking care of that cousin of my mum while offering more if he won.

"Okay, we are going to take a trip to forget everything," I told Nat as I hung up the call.
"Where?" Nat asked as she got off the bed.
"Where do you want to go?" I asked Nat, as I got up.
Nat had a thoughtful look before she nodded. "I would prefer somewhere on Earth rather than space."
I chuckled as I nodded. "Sure."
*Whizz* A portal opened up beside me leading to my ship. Seeing this Nat shook her head. "Let's drive to your yacht."
*Whizz* The portal closed as I decided to abide by her desire. It was a trip to relax her not me. "Alright." I noticed her packing and decided to pack some clothes myself just for the novelty experience.
"Can you drive?" Nat passed me the keys.
"Sure." Grabbing the key and my bag I went down and chose Porsche Cayenne Turbo-S from her garage.
Placing my bag in the boot I drove out of the garage and waited outside.
Using this time I decided to set the destination towards my yacht, waiting for us by a port.
*Clack* I smiled seeing Nat walking down with her luggage after locking the door. Helping her set her bag into the back, we got in and took off.
"David do you want to play a game?" Nat asked seeing we had 3 hours to our destination.
"Sure." I agreed as I placed the car on auto-drive.
"How about I spy?" Thus our 3 hours to the beginning of our little holiday started with fun road games.
Finally arriving before our yacht, I set the car to drive itself back home.
“Sea, air or land?” I asked Nat to which she smiled.
“Sea.” Grabbing our belongings we walked in and prepared to take off.
As the yacht was about to transform to submerge under the sea, Natasha requested something from me. “Can we stay up for a while?”
"Yeah sure." I nodded.
Stopping the transformation of the boat and we stayed on top of the water.
She went to the front of the boat, and I joined her after placing all the luggage inside. It was slightly cold and windy, so I hugged her and became her human blanket.
After a while of watching the sea, Nat turned towards me looking tired. “I feel like drinking something warm and sweet.” She stated as she looked at me.
“There is hot chocolate powder in the kitchen. I can get one for you if you want?” She shook her head as she grabbed my arm and brought me in.
"Let me make something for you today." Nat leaned on my arm as she brought me to bed.
"Give me a moment and you will taste the best hot chocolate of your life!" I chuckled seeing her motivation as she declared.
"You can drink that at least? Or do you need mango for that as well?" I shook my head to her question.
"I will drink anything my beautiful wife makes for me today." Rolling her eyes with a smile she went down to the kitchen without me.
I could hear her messing with the kettles and everything as I opened up a movie for us to watch when she was back.
Just as she came back up carrying 2 mugs I realised something. “I thought you were scared to go down to the kitchen by yourself?” I asked her to which she chuckled with a slight blush.
“Thank god you found me, otherwise I have no idea how you would have gotten another girl to fall for you.” She passed me the hot drink.
I laughed as I got the chocolate drink from her. We sat down, with her in my embrace as we slowly drank and watched the boat move above the sea. “Shall I submerge?” I asked her to which she shook her head.
“Let’s just stay like this.” I nodded as I noticed her eyes drooping tiredly.
Grabbing the mug from her hand I let my bots take care of it. "Let's sleep." Nat nodded as she wiped the fake moustache made by the froth of my face.
"You have one too," I told her as I swiped the froth away.
"Can you cuddle me?"
Hearing the question I embraced her as we laid down. Watching her close her eyes in content I leaned on rested my cheek on top of her head and closed my eyes too, before joining her in her sleep.
------------------------------------------
Waking up I grabbed Nat when I noticed how awfully fluffy and squishy she was. “Huh?” I opened my eyes to see a pillow stuffed in my embrace.
I laughed seeing her prank as I sat up.
"Good one Na..." I suddenly noticed her necklace, her wedding ring, and a note by her bedside. My heart froze as I felt a bad premonition.
I took the note and read the message written for me. ‘Sorry for drugging your drink. Don’t follow me, your life will be better and beautiful without me.’
I crumpled the paper in anger. As I was about to tap my watch to find her, I saw that my watch was missing from my hand.
“I am going to fucking slaughter every single one of you!” I screamed in anger as I realised what had happened.
“Locate my watch,” I ordered the UI in my ship. Nat knew me more than anyone in the world. That must have been why she gave me a sleeping pill that took effect slowly. She knew I would sleep with her, and therefore not notice the effect of the drug at all.
“EM field activated on watch.” The ship's UI answered back. While the drug had taken effect she controlled our ship to escape into the land, before sending me off to the sea.
“Bypass the EM field and locate it,” I ordered my ship's UI. She must have needed my watch to remotely control my ship away from her.
“Watch located 2 kilometres west of here, 2 kilometres deep.” My ship informed me.
I sighed in relief hearing this.
“Show me the surroundings of the watch,” I told the UI and a hologram appeared before me to see that the watch was slowly sinking and was surrounded by only the sea.
My heart leapt seeing this. 'She is too smart to suicide. She knows I will go on a rampage if she is dead.'
I opened a portal under the watch and retrieved it.
“Smart diversion.” She had probably thought I would go locate my watch which would probably be with her.
“Locate Nat,” I ordered my ship.
“No electronic equipment’s detected on Natasha." My UI gave me a piece of bad news.
"Use the personal orbital satellite to locate Natasha.” The only problem was Nat forgot, or rather didn't know I had a personal orbital satellite created just for the task of monitoring and protecting my loved ones.
“Natasha has just arrived outside of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.” An image of her running while covering most of her face appeared on my screen.
“France?” I became stunned hearing this.
“Where the hell am I?” I looked around.
“Australia.” I became stunned as I heard this. She must have given me a very heavy dose that knocked me out for several hours and taken control of my boat to get there quickly.
“Keep track of her.” A portal appeared under my boat, and it disappeared not long after.
I stayed floating in the air. I equipped my watch before resizing as a tiny portal appeared in the air once more. I disappeared into it not long after.
Arriving on the other side I appeared above Nat who was calmly moving through the crowd while making sure to cover her face as much as possible.
Without alerting her, I sat on her shoulder.
I watched as she walked into an alleyway before taking off her current clothes and wearing a filter mask she walked out of the alleyway, on the other side.
This kept repeating for 4 hours, of care fully dedication and meticulousness, before she finally booked a room and decided to stayed there for the night.
