[Several Decades Later]
An elderly David held Nat’s hand as they watched their grandkids. “It’s nearly time Nat.” David grasped Nat’s hand gently.
“I am scared,” Nat replied as she leaned into David’s chest.
“I will be there with you.” They both closed their eyes.
Just as the clock reached 3 pm David reached 100 years old.
As if the Grim Reaper had claimed their life, both of them passed away peacefully.
As they did, David’s body began dispersing into dust, along with Nat’s.
The tribunal appeared alongside an old man. The OAA grabbed the 6 stones dropped onto the ground from the dust left behind David.
“Amongst all the infinity stones, these are the most valuable ones.” OAA declared as he handed it to the Tribunal.
“I don’t see any changes in them, lord,” Tribunal replied.
“No, but the story they hold is far greater than any infinity stones. It is of love, that suppressed several millennia of pain and suffering.” OAA explained. “Disperse them.”
Tribunal nodded as he closed his fist before re-opening it at which point the stones disappeared to various corners of the universe.
They then looked at the approaching figures of David and Nat’s children and their spouses. “Let’s go.” OAA disappeared.
The tribunal watched the adult Sasha and Levi running forward followed by guards rushing to their kids who were crying.
Sasha and Levi, stopped as they went past their kids as their better halves looked after them to where their parents had once been.
They remembered the stories their mother used to always tell them. “One day your father and I will pass away. Don’t worry when we do, because we will be going to a better place.”
“But why mum?” Levi had asked her. “Can’t you and Dad live forever?”
The author's content has been appropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
Their mum had for the first time flicked the child-like Levi on his forehead just like they had seen their dad flick their mum’s forehead.
“Ow!” Levi rubbed his forehead.
“There is no curse greater than being an immortal Levi.” Their mum had explained as their dad picked Levi up along with Sasha.
“Don’t be afraid of death, Sasha and Levi, it’s the greatest gift given to all living beings.” Their dad stated. “Only the foolish would go after immortality not realizing the wonderful world beyond death.”
“I don’t understand dad,” Sasha answered.
“Then let me tell you a story…” David sat down along with Nat on the bed with them and began telling them a story.
Their parents had always told them stories with incredible and profound meaning which had helped them a lot in their life, allowing them to reach great places without their help.
“You okay?” Sasha asked Levi who looked at the place where their parents had disappeared from.
“Yeah, it’s just hard to think that they are not around here anymore.” Levi sighed as he wiped his blurry eyes.
“Hopefully we can see them soon enough.” Sasha smiled as she looked up as a tear rolled down her left eye quietly.

[Outside Purgatory]
A man stood before the exit of purgatory patiently.
At this moment a familiar figure walked away from the gate towards him.
“Aren’t you going to come in?” El gave a mysterious grin. “If not, I don’t mind sending you off to another world.”
David glanced at El in annoyance before looking away. “You don’t scare me anymore El. You got luck last time sealing my memories before I could fully grasp everything, but I won’t let you do it again.”
“Hehehe.” El chuckled. “Believe it or not David, you really were chosen at random to be the first out of the many I had picked.”
David glanced at El. “Many?”
El smiled as he turned around and walked away. “Your story is just a prelude to my entertainment, David.”
“You think I will let you get away with this? What do you think is going to happen when I inform God?” David warned him.
*Pfft* “You won’t because you are not that type of person.” El scoffed as he waved his hand. “Besides even if you do, time works differently here. Common sense doesn't apply to this place.” El laughed as he began walking upside down in the air as he left.
David quietly watched El leave after which he turned his eyes back to Purgatory where he watched Nat receive her punishment.

Years passed as Nat was finally free from her time in Purgatory.
She walked out only to be surprised to see someone sitting at the gate waiting for her.
“Did you wait for me?” She asked David.
“You waited, suffered, and loved me for all those years, isn’t this the least I can do for you?” David asked her as he stood up.
Nat ran forward and hugged him joyously.
“Shall we go?” David asked her after a while.
“Mhmm.” Nat nodded as they came apart. Turning around they looked at the path leading to heaven.
“Is that douchebag still waiting by the gate?” Nat enquired.
“Yeah.” David nodded with a smile. “I held off from punching him. Decided we could do it together.”
“Good let's go beat him up.” Nat nodded with a chuckle as they both walked forward to Heaven along with the dozens of souls going to heaven.
