How long had he been down here? Ted rubbed his eyes as they felt strained from trying to look for anything in the darkness around him. Then, a light appeared in the distance. A small glimmer, and his pace immediately increased.
Ted started to jog towards it as his leg still throbbed painfully with each step. But, with something in sight, he moved into the distance. The light got close, and he reached out his hand. Then, his foot stepped into a slanted surface, and he lost his balance.
"WHHHAAAAAA!!!" Ted cried out as his feet slipped out in front of him and he fell onto his butt.
He tried to reach up towards the light, but he started to speed past it as his legs continued to slide further down the slope. The light disappeared as he sped up more and more. Ted realized that this was getting dangerous as he just kept speeding up, and with the light gone he was back in complete darkness.

Then, what he was dreading came to pass, as the slope came to a quick stop. He tried to catch himself by breaking into a half run as his feet hit the flat ground, and for a moment he seemed to succeed. Despite the darkness he caught his balance, but keeping it up required a lot more skill and coordination than what he had.
BANG!
CRASH!
KAWOOO!
Ted crashed forward in the darkness, and over several large lumps. The first couple felt like loose piles, but the third was solid.
"Oof!" Ted let out a burst of air as he came to a sudden stop.
Ted felt like he had just fought Trizel again. His whole body aches, well, his whole body except for his right hand. It felt oddly warm. He tried to pull it back, but it felt like it was stuck.
Ted grabbed onto his right arm and tried to pull, but then jerked forward as it felt like his hand was being sucked into a vacuum. The pull felt stronger and stronger as his arm moved further and further down.
"This can't be good," Ted muttered.
