"Please be quiet," Sid requested as he held a finger over his lips.
What are you talking about, why? Death asked with no regard for how loud he was.
Of course, his volume didn't really matter since his words just appeared in the minds of everyone around him.
Sid looked around as he shook his head and motioned Death to shut his mouth.
Nearby was the smiling man, a human male, a floating ball of eyes and blood, a fish man, and a giant worm monster. Sid glanced over towards them, and then turned back to Death.
"We need to head back," Sid explained. "We do not want to make trouble while several of us are out of commission."
Death shrugged. Bro, chill out. Seriously. They're just belting out some tunes. Figured I'd join them for a bit, you know?"
"Join them?" Sid replied. "He was and is our prison guard. He also tried to coerce all of us into killing each other, then just attempted to do that on his own."

Despite Sid's voice still being in a whisper, Death talked in his normal, loud voice for hid half of thr conversation.
That was ages ago. Death scoffed. You don't need to cling onto the past so much dude. Just live and let live, you know?
"That is the problem," Sid sighed. "He was unable to let us just live. I doubt he has changed his motivations and personality so quickly."
Death shook his head. Nah dude. We were away for a while. This whole place has been rebuilt. That's plenty of time to turn his life around.
Sid looked back at the other group anxiously. They still seemed preoccupied with the karaoke.
"I will agree to argue this with you back with the others, but this is not am adequate venue for this discussion." Sid explained.
Death paused to tsp hid chin. But the karaoke... he mused.
Sid looked back and the giant worm seemed like it had turned their direction. Sid quickly ducked down, and pulled Death down with him.
"How about I agree that I will take you back for karaoke when this ordeal is concluded?" Sid suggested.
Okay okay. Now we're getting somewhere. Death agreed with a nod. But what else will I get if I go with you?
"Continued existence," Sid offered. "Now let us go."
The shiny skeletal hand grabbed ahold of Death's dull arm bone and started to pull him away. The skeleton started to resist, but gave up when he couldn't break Sid's grip with a karate chop to his finger.
Dang, you're pretty tough. Death said as Sid dragged him away silently.
As the two of them disappeared, Will turned towards the smiling man and asked, "Hey, did you hear something like stone grinding against stone?"
The smiling man chuckled. "Oh? You heard something? I thought you were going to sing for us so that we could hear you?"
Will stepped back on the stage and smiled as he held the microphone. "Nah, it's probably nothing then," he said.
And with that, Will motioned for the others to join him. "Come on up! I think I finally found a song with enough parts we could all sing a bit."
With various stages of reluctance, the four others joined him on stage, and together they sang through several songs with a surprisingly complex number of parts.
