Sploosh.
Narissa rubbed the bridge of her nose as she let out a long sigh. "I can't believe I was tricked into using that thing."
Twang!
Og'drimun fired a small tooth from his slingshot and hit one of the flying creatures in its open mouth. As it started to choke and struggle, he turned to Narissa. "Hey, you still got one I'm pretty sure."
Hey man, I lost all of mine, can I borrow yours for a bit? Death asked as he cozied up next to Sid.
As Sid swatted away another attempted boarder, he shook his head. "It will be better utilized in my possession."
Come on bro, just for a little bit. You won't even notice it's gone; I swear! Death pleaded as he put his hands together to beg.
"Curious. Do you believe my sensors are truly that damaged? That I would not notice the absence of something?" Sid queried.
"You can borrow mine if you want." Ted suggested as he held up his fishing spear.
It didn't feel like much of a loss to him anyway. After all, Ted hadn't been able to hit anything the entire time he had the weapon. It obviously took skill to use, which was something he very clearly lacked.
Oh, heck yeah. I'll totally slay with this thing! Death happily grabbed the spear.
A moment later Death saw something move in the water, and he chucked it at the mysterious object. The mystery object turned out to be nothing but a rubber boot. To top it all off, he had missed his throw, and now the spear was floating in the water next to the lone boot.
Uh, you wouldn't happen to have another one of those I could use, would you? He asked Ted.
Narissa groaned even louder as she sat down in despair. "I swear you're all no better than kids. Just a pack of annoying brats."
"I disagree with that assessment. I may be the youngest here, but I act with maturity and comprehension befitting that of an adult. The others are all of legal age as well. There is not a single child among us. Even Og'drimun, who appears small, but is the oldest out of all of us." Sid argued as he hit away another two encroaching enemies.
"Yeah! I'm the oldest so you guys should listen to me." Og'drimun said as he puffed out his chest.

Narissa looked up at Sid with the tired eyes of a single mother barely holding onto her last strand of sanity. She gave him a fake smile and in a sickly-sweet voice said, "Of course my darling, whatever you say."
Pockets watched the exchange unfold with glee. She even giggled to herself at a few different points as she watched the others use the tools that she had given them in various ways.
Then, her eyes lit up. "Wait, I could be helping too!"
She quickly reached down into her pants and rummaged around as she stuck her tongue out to her side. She seemed to grab onto something, but it was almost like it was pulling her around. She shoved her other hand down her pants and tried to grab ahold of whatever she found down there.
Pockets strained and groaned as she tried to pull out whatever she had grabbed onto. Her face turned red from the strain. But finally, she managed to yank it out of her pants.
A firehose stood tall like a tv antenna. Then, a moment later, it drooped down in front of her. She glanced over at Ted and winked. "Jealous?" she whispered secutively.
Ted missed the joke completely, but Og'drimun snorted and laughed on his behalf.
"Alright! Now I just need to turn this bad boy on, and we'll be in business!" Pockets declared with glee as she seemed to soak in the demon's laughter like a form of energy.
Narissa looked at the scene as it unfolded. She opened her mouth like she was about to say something, but then seemed to think better of it, and closed it without uttering a word. She just turned her head away as she shook it from side to side.
Pockets yanked out a fire hydrant from her pants and planted it firmly on the rubber ducky. It already had a hose attached to one side, and even had a wheel attached to the top. Pockets put one hand on the wheel, "And here...we...GO!" she said as she flung her hand across and spun the wheel at high speed.
She grabbed onto the hose with both hands and looked out expectantly. But only a small dribble sputtered out before it went completely dry again.
"I swear, this doesn't usually happen," Pockets gulped as she tugged on her shirt collar nervously.
Then she turned to Og'drimun, and tried to make excuses. "I mean, this is perfectly normal. Under so much pressure to perform, this kind of thing happens to everyone, right?"
Og'drimun smiled back nervously. "I uh...I don't know what you mean." he lied.
Ted tapped Pockets shoulder.
She looked over at him with a face bright red from embarrassment.
"You're stepping on the hose." Ted explained as he pointed at her foot.
Pockets dramatically folded her body down until her head was touching the ground. She indeed did haver her foot on the hose, and behind it the hose had swelled to half the size of the rubber ducky as it floated in the water to the side of them.
Pockets snapped back up and put a hand on the back of her head as she giggled. "Oopsie daisy! Silly me." Then, with just one hand on her hose, and her eyes still shut, she lifted her foot.
Ted's heart sunk as he immediately realized his mistake in pointing this out to a clown like her.
And indeed, the giant ball rushed up along the hose. It went back into her pants where it disappeared, and then flew up to the nozzle where it seemed to stop again.
Ted let out a sigh of relief. However, Pockets opened her eyes and looked over at the hose that still wasn't performing. "Heehee. Silly me. I must've turned it off, earlier."
Ted's pupil's shrunk, but it was too late to warn her.
Pockets unleashed the hose on full blast, and it sprayed out with enough pressure that as the jet stream of water hit one of the bat creatures, it cut it in two, with the chunk hit by water seemingly erased completely.
"Whoa!" Pockets cried out as the hose rose like a giant snake and flung her around behind it as she held on for dear life.
The water shot out like a cannon and cut through everything in its path. Why the pressure was so great, it even briefly parted the red liquid filling the room as it shot through it.
"Look out!" Og'drimun cried.
"No, to your left!" Sid warned.
I swear it just keeps following me no matter where I go! Death complained as he continued to teleport around.
"That's because like smoke, it follows beauty," Pockets purred as her eyes glazed over slightly.
"Is this really the time?" Ted gulped as he stumbled back just out of the way of the deadly beam of water.
Too bad, that beam passed straight through the rubber ducky. Split in two, all the air shot out like a bullet and caused the two halves to fly out from under everyone. They got smaller and smaller as they flew around the room like balloons that had been let loose.
Back to all floating in the water, they seemed just a little worse for wear. Especially Narissa who looked like she was completely checked out from her surroundings.
"Well, I guess we're stuck just like you Sente...hey, where'd he go?" Ted asked as he looked to where Sentenza had been, but no one was there now. In fact, he couldn't see Sentenza anywhere.
