Sid slumped against the wall. His skeletal hand squeezed a piece of cloth that was wrapped around his bicep as his arm hung limp. It looked to be in pretty rough shape, like it had been crushed under a Boulder.
For a brief moment, he seemed to rest against the stainless steel wall.
Sid was in a narrow hallway. There wasn't even enough room for Sid to stretch his arms out fully. There was no ceiling, but an endless black that stretched out from where the steel walls ended.
Ting!

The noise was reminiscent of a hammer striking an anvil. Immediately, Sid pressed forward. He kept his hand gripped firmly on his limp arm as he jogged forward.
Ting!
The sound had gotten closer. Sid increased his speed for a moment, but then seemed to almost stumble. After his feet nearly tripped, he slowed back down to his jog.
Sid looked back. There was nothing behind him. At least, nothing that he could see. Yet, it was clear that with every moment something was getting closer.
Ting!
Ting!
Closer and closer. Every moment the sound grew louder and more ominous.
Sid came to a diverging path. Two left, and one forward. He didn't hesitate as he took the second path to the left.
This was a bad decision, as he ran into a dead end after just a few moments. He turned around and quickly made his way back.
As he emerged, he saw what was chasing him. The exact length of the hallway was what was essentially a giant metal mouth. Instead of teeth it had solid chunks of metal that tinged as they gnashed down towards each other.
Sid paid it no mind and took the other left path.
