Rocks shattered and flew up into the air as Bakade's claw crashed down into the ground. Behind her, the wolf silently appraised her with his eyes.
"Hahaha! Pathetic! Useless!" cried the bodiless voice surrounded by static. "You were better off dancing with my lasers child."
Bakade's eyes flared up as she turned towards the wolf.
The wolf held the knife with its glowing green edge in his mouth. He was standing on a jagged chunk of the floor.
Even someone without any experience fighting could see the difference between them. There was an ocean of skill and experience that separated them. Yet, Bakade looked as determined as ever.
In a blur, she leaped towards the wolf. The beast just stared at her with an almost apathetic look in his eyes. As she was inches away, she spread out her razor sharp claws, and brought them down.
The broken remains of the rock flew up and small pieces bounced off of Bakade's skull. Her sharp claw easily tore through the floor as if it was nothing but air.
Yet, the wolf was nowhere to be seen.
WHOMP
Bakade's eyes widened as the wolf's head slammed into her stomach.
She went flying back, and skipped across the broken ground like a flat pebble across a lake.
As she went flying, the wolf stood there and stared at her. Like a child watching a spider struggle after they pulled off seven of its legs. It was more of a mild curiosity than any real enjoyment or true interest.
The wolf ducked down as his eyes widened. Nugget's talon flew so close to the back of his neck that a few of his hairs were cut off by her foot.
He turned his head towards where Nugget was landing, but she had disappeared.
WHAM!
A brief moment later, Nugget had slammed into the wolf's side and knocked him back a few feet.

In less than two seconds, she had clipped his fur, and then jumped to his opposite side and rammed into him.
After her attack, Nugget stood on one foot as her eyes glared at the wolf. A swirl of emotions spun in them. Hatred, anger, envy, pride, and even fear.
"Bakaw," she sneered passionately as she stared down the wolf.
A low snarl formed in the wolf's throat as he glanced down where he had been struck. His lips lifted as he bared his teeth at the chicken. All while his growl grew louder and more menacing.
CRACK!
The ground around the wolf erupted in shards of rocks as Bakade slashed through the ground again. Her approach had been completely silent, and the wolf had barely managed to avoid her razor sharp claws.
While the wolf was still moving away, Nugget had leaped forward and into the air. She seemed intent on pressing the small window of an advantage they had.
Her feet flew at incredible speed as she kicked and tossed the fragments of rocks Bakade had hit into the air.
Like a hail of bullets, they rained down on the wolf.
His howl grew as seething rage burned in his one eye. He started to slash into the air with the knife. He cut down the debris piece by piece with unbelievably fast slashes.
Yet, he wasn't quite fast enough. His small dagger couldn't quite reach all of them, so despite his speed and skill, several dozen rocks pelted his body.
A moment had passed. All the rocks were on the ground now, one way or another. Bakade yanked her hand out of the ground, and Nugget stood on her shoulder. Like a two headed beast they stood opposing the massive wolf.
A drop of red blood fell from the wolf's side and onto the splintered ground beneath him. His teeth were on full display as an ominous snarl echoed out from his throat.
The oppressive aura of death around him seemed to almost shrink down. But, it wasn't actually growing any less potent. It was almost like it was concentrating around him into a thicker wall.
Bakade's eyes glanced down at the blood and the flames shrunk into a barely perceptible dot in her moose skull's eye sockets. An eerie breeze started to whip up around them as the scrawny girl opened her skeletal jaw.
"Stop toying around and finish them off already!" The voice commanded.
When the wolf answered with another snarl, red light sprang up from his robotic parts and jolt of electricity danced over his body.
His eye twitched as a brief flash of pain echoed across his face before it was replaced with raw hatred again.
Oddly enough, when the shocks spread across his body, his killing intent seemed to spread out around him again.
Nugget's eyes glanced from the wolf, and back over to the pylons in the distance. Her foot tapped Bakade's neck.
When Bakade turned her head, Nugget jerked her head back behind them towards the objects in the distance. Bakade was silent, but then nodded.
"Gggooooodddd llluuuuuccckkkk." She croaked out in her raspy voice.
Nugget leaped into the air and spread her wings as Bakade turned her back to the wolf.
The wolf's eyes narrowed as they started to move, and he bent down, as if he was going to leap towards them. But, he was cut off.
As Bakade turned around, she slashed her claws through the uneven ground around her, and flung up thousands of small pieces of rocks.
While in the air, Bakade started to kick the pieces towards the wolf again.
He swung his dagger again, and eviscerated each projectile into less than dust. While he blocked the attack, his eyes fell upon Bakade as she sprinted away. And, in a blur of movement, the wolf was gone.
"Bawk!" Bakade yelled as she flung a particularly large rock towards Bakade's back.
The lanky woman leaped up into the air, tucked her arms and legs into her body like a ball, and started to flip forward. As she moved up, the wolf slashed through the air where she had been.
She was mostly out of the way, but he was too quick, and the knife slashed through and into her shin bone on her left leg.
Before he could send another attack, Nugget's onslaught of projectiles had reached him. He growled as he was forced to turn his attention to the chicken's rocks she was hurling at him.
Bakade landed with a groan as her wounded leg almost buckled under her. However, she managed to keep her feet and dashed at blinding speeds towards the pylons in the distance.
The wolf's gaze briefly turned to Bakade before it shifted and fully settled upon the chicken that was currently floating up in the air. His stare could've burned a hole through a wall, and it was directed right at Nugget's throat.
