CH. 411

Gen acknowledged Drem’s beliefs. Sarina grumbled slightly but could only accept it as well. That was just how life was. Not everyone would have the same opinion and respecting each other’s was important to live in society-

Bullshit.

They were going to tolerate it for now since they needed each other and that was it.

Between this group, everyone was aware of the truth.

They were still together solely because there were more benefits to be had like that.

Gen turned the subject back to what mattered to him: “So, can you give me the bottle now?”

Drem tapped on the table with his fingers before speaking: “Give me back my shit first”

Gen frowned: “What do you mean?”

Drem snickered: “You emptied all the warehouses of the Capital, do you take me for a fool? You think I did not notice that your bag was filled with spatial rings?”

Gen chuckled and threw the bag to Drem. He did not care about it. This was the wealth they would have to share for the ‘sect’ they were going to create. And what was in that bottle was millions- no, billions- of times more precious than a bunch of resources useful only until one reached the 30th stage.

Drem grabbed the bag and checked the contents before nodding to himself. Indeed, that was the wealth he amassed through the past few years in Vrislorin. As he thought, it was impossible that the greedy Gen would have given up on that much. Even if it was little in the grand scheme of things and the eyes of the strong, it was a lot to us and exactly what they needed.

Drem took out the bottle back. He gazed at it deeply. He still longed for the woman even now. The charming effect she had on him back then was that strong. Still, he handed it over to Gen. Risa felt relief when she saw that. This was one of the most important matters that had been left to handle.

Now, it should be smoother.

She clapped her hands: “Now then, any suggestions on our sect’s name?”

There was a long silence at the table. She decided to break it so as to avoid the awkward atmosphere: “How about we go with the ‘Equality Sect’?”

She was rejected by all of them in an instant. From there, they began to discuss and debate on how it should be called. Only Nangua remained forever firm in his opinion and wanted it named the Pumpkin Sect. Of course, everyone ignored him.

In the end, they decided to call it the East Tide Sect for it would be on the east coast and it felt like a random name that no one would particularly give attention to.

Now they only needed to figure out where to settle.

The land was vast but it was not like there were available territories everywhere. People already owned these lands.

They needed to either steal some or buy some. Obviously, both would likely be difficult. For others, that would have been so but for them? Not at all.

Gen and Risa easily found a spot available. It was very small and on top of a cliff but they needed no more than that. They only required to be officially recognized as owners by the Republic so as to avoid conflicts with the true powers here.

They reached their new ‘home’ three days later.

It was, as expected, a small hill on the cliff, overseeing the ocean.

“Not quite what I expected” admitted Nangua.

Gen laughed as he stated: “We are cultivators, we only need to expand it ourselves, wouldn’t you agree?”

Risa grinned. She pointed towards the right side and stated: “I will place my peak on the right side. There is more sunlight over there”

Gen acknowledged that and stated: “I will create my underground from the left then”

Drem asked: “So we get the middle?”

Gen and Risa nodded.

Drem turned towards Ame who looked away. She proceeded to ask Risa: “Would there be space for one more on the right side?”

Risa awkwardly laughed. To be honest, she would rather that Ame and Drem made up. That way they could keep them under control more easily. A glare from Gen told her that it would not be possible and she ended up agreeing. She would make a second peak for Ame.

Risa was the first to make her move. She asked Nangua: “Can you channel your spiritual energy to me as I work, please?”

Nangua nodded: “Sure”

He placed his hand on her back and waited.

She began to channel her own energy and it turned into a whirlpool in front of her arms that extended towards the right side.

She gave a serious order: “RISE”

And then, as the spiritual energy fluctuated, the ground began to rise. Nangua hurriedly began to channel his energy into Risa so that she had a continuous flow of it.

The ground rose and rose to create a small and stable hill.

Risa was exhausted but satisfied as she looked at the fifty-meter-tall hill she created. It would have taken no more than a wave for her past self yet it took all of her and more to make this today.

Yet, she felt happiness instead of sadness.

For this was the new beginning she dreamt of for so long while trapped. She could already imagine how it would look in the future. She would make her peak rise and rise higher until it towered over the heavens themselves.

She would deliver true justice to this world this time.
