Jin opened his eyes under the now very familiar white dome. Next to him was the giant statue of the woman, Sarina Sempress, who could now be considered a teacher to him. He was still unable to move. His body belonged to the corrupted being at the moment. He wasn't even able to see it since his remaining eye was on the other side of it... But he could feel it. Physically.
The statue said: "It's time. May the heavens smile upon you once more"
And with those parting words, he dived in as he learnt. His eyes closed once more. At the same time, the many eyes of the corruption closed but the many jaws stayed wide open grinning. Sarina sat cross-legged and placed both of her stony hands together. She prayed to the heavens for one more miracle. Because she believed that if something impossible happened once, it could be considered a miracle. And she believed that if something impossible happened twice, it was no longer possible to call such things a miracle.
It would be something beyond it.
And she needed someone like that. Someone who could keep creating miracles to the point that the impossible wouldn't ever again be called so in front of that existence. She wanted to find someone who could make the impossible into the possible. And if this kid managed to make it out alive, she would bet on him being that someone.
...
Jin opened his eyes in a dark place. In front of him, quite far away, he could see a round ball of a bright dark red color. And surrounding it, he could see a lot of it. A lot of the corruption elemental. In all kinds of forms. Hammers, spears, swords, daggers, arrows, polearms... And then, it materialized in front of him with the humanoid titan body he was familiar with. Four legs, six arms and creepy eyes and jaws. The horrible monster that was corruption appeared. His 'existence' appeared.
It spread its arms widely as it smiled: "Welcome to your grave"
Jin didn't bother speaking to it. He called upon the many 'images' that he made throughout the years. Hundreds of spears appeared around him. The corrupted being spat on the ground as it cursed: "This bitch lied as I thought"
She said she would deliver the 'existence' of this host to him on a platter but what the fuck was this? She taught him how to fight back instead. He would certainly devour her once he dealt with this one. It was fortunate that it didn't waste its own time while waiting for the kid to come. It had been influenced by its defeat and learnt from it. It prepared a warm welcome for this meal.

They glared at each other for a moment before they rushed towards the other. Both had a spear in hand. And all the other weapons behind them followed along, rushing forward even faster.
The weapons made of both of the opponent's wills clashed and exploded into each other mid-air, creating sparks. In the middle of it all, their existences were fiercely clashing while dodging and deflecting all the weapons sent at them by the other. It was of no importance how many weapons made from their wills were destroyed, only their 'existences' mattered. There were many weapons but they only had this one 'existence'. Both of them focused all their attention on erasing the other. They aimed everything at the other.
The fight continued for hours. They never tired in this space. Stamina wasn't a concept. Tiredness inexistant. They simply fought at their best continuously. The number of weapons never shrunk. They only collided against another will. Neither will being stronger than the other. The only reason the corrupted being suffered when he invaded Jin's soul sea was because he came in with only his 'existence' and no 'will'. It was his 'existence' that had been harmed.
here, what they needed never changed, they had to erase the other. They had to inflict harm upon the 'existence' of the other as nothing else would have an impact. And both of them were aware that this was the final fight. There would no longer be second chances, no more tables turning.
Gigantic spears flew around as the corrupted being moved erratically, running up or down or diagonally with Jin following in his steps while dodging the numerous gigantic weapons it sent at him. They clashed around the core for hours. The first to make a mistake would die. The corrupted being had the incredible advantage of being capable of shapeshifting while Jin had better techniques and control over the shape of will. It made for equal grounds and a seemingly fair fight. But it wasn't so.
Jin was losing.
His control was better, yes. His techniques were better, yes. But the shapeshifting ability was instinctive. It was faster and more reactive. Jin was aware that he would die here. If nothing changed. But what could be changed? He was at his wit's end. He didn't see any way to break through this situation. Turning the situation didn't seem possible.
So, he could only gamble with his life.
He let the corrupted being pierce him with his spear. He was in agony as he felt for a single instant the corruption of his existence. And then, a miniscule spear rushed from behind his back, piercing through him and continuing forward. As it exited him, he willed it to grow exponentially. Due to the proximity with the corrupted being, the spear impaled it and grew while still inside.
His many jaws that had been grinning became twisted and opened as if to show his surprise. He never expected that this man would pick a mutual end... And corruption exploded. The many dark red weapons slowly dematerialized as if they had never been there and the core began to show cracks. Even the darkness seemed to ripple.
Jin looked down at the form of his 'existence'. It had two holes inside of it. He chuckled as he was forcefully ejected.
