Meanwhile, in the meeting hall, the three masters were happily catching up and bringing back past heroics, enjoying their time. Jin was listening closely as experiences from masters always contained knowledge worth learning from. Sophia was also doing the same though for a different reason. She found the tales to be very entertaining and impressive. It made her fantasize about her future. She was imagining herself reproducing similar feats.
It took around an hour and a half for new people to be brought into the hall. Three people, heavily chained and roughed up, were being forcefully dragged in the room by a few guards and a haughty butler. As they reached the inside, the butler bowed deeply to the seniors. It wasn't every day that he met so many of the top brass and he couldn't help but be nervous.
Due to this, he tried to act more than usual. As he had the guards push the three further in and down to their knees, he exclaimed: "On behalf of my esteemed branch leader, Ryu Yong-Sik, I present to you mighty seniors the three sinners you have asked for!"
There was an awkward silence as everyone took in the sight. All the members of the Ryu clan were now drowning in their own sweat with a few passed out. Song-Min and Hye-Ja looked at each other with a slight smile of mockery on their face. As for Hae-Hyuk, he was smiling. But that smile would give shivers to anyone who witnessed it. The usual amiable smile gone, his entire face seemed to contract in anger.
He asked with a neutral, completely even tone, devoid of emotions: "Are those the family members of Min-Su?"
The butler, not quite understanding the situation, thought that he did good and the senior wanted to reward him. He bowed and hurriedly spoke: "Yes, yes, venerable senior, these are said sinners!"
He wasn't even able to stand back straight before his head exploded. Then it was the turn for the heads of all the guards who brought the three in. The entire area was painted red as the bodies fell down on the ground lifeless and headless. The members of the Ryu clan were scared shitless at the display of ruthlessness. Hae-Hyuk had not even moved and all those people were dead... But more than anything, he dared to slaughter them in their own house!
The Patriarch hurried to bow: "Please, venerable senior, appease your anger! We will bring Yong-Sik here for punishment but please, find it in your heart to forgive our clan!"

It was the first time Jin witnessed Hae-Hyuk make a move. And he couldn't see anything but heads explode without prior warning. The gruesome sight didn't shake him but instead made him think. How could one fight against such an attack? He couldn't see it or feel it yet it was a one hit kill... He looked at Hae-Hyuk who remained stoic. Well, there was no facial movement. He couldn't see his eyes due to the blindfold which made it hard to grasp his emotional state.
He was angry for sure. It was obvious. However, to Jin, what mattered was his countenance. This man had not even flinched before killing all those people. His Master was a murderer used to it apparently. It was a new facet of his Master that he discovered. Though he had expected it.
Sophia on the other hand reacted strongly. She didn't expect her new Master to be so ruthless. He killed those people simply because they brought the three in such a way. It was obvious that the butler and guard only obeyed orders...Yet they were killed like that... She was questioning the act. No. She was already associating it with evil in her heart. What her Master did was evil. This is what she was really feeling right now. However, she remained silent. She knew that speaking now would be a bad idea. But she wouldn't let the matter go like this either. She would wait and ask him. Why he did that and why did he seem like he didn't really feel anything about it.
As for the other two other supreme masters here, they were chuckling on the side. This clan drama was really fun. They never expected that the Ryu guys would have the balls to bring the three that Hae-Hyuk asked for in such an overbearing way.
Looking at the crying Patriarch who had his head on the floor, Hae-Hyuk remained cold and told him: "I believe some explanations are required, Patriarch"
The Patriarch didn't even move. He remained with his head on the ground as he spoke: "Please, venerable senior, this must be a misunderstanding! I will do my utmost to bring out the truth and a satisfying conclusion!"
Then, the Patriarch yelled at a group of elders: "Go fetch Yong-Sik right this instant! We need an explanation!"
The elders hurried away while the Patriarch remained on the ground pleading mercy from the venerable senior. Hae-Hyuk ignored him and turned to look at the three people that had been brought him. They were in seriously sorry states.
The youngest woman wore rags and there were traces of cuts everywhere on the parts of her body that could be seen. She seemed not to feel anything as her eyes looked blankly down. As for the other two, they were a couple and were bawling. They had some bruises here and there and blood could be seen on their rags.
Hae-Hyuk got up and went towards them. He went down on a knee as he looked at them and he asked: "Are you Min-Su's parents?"
The young woman did not react at all, not even a movement. But the other two did. They hurried to nod their heads while bowing and pleading to spare them. Hae-Hyuk appeased them: "I am your son's Master, Hae-Hyuk. It is my honor to have become his teacher and I came today to pay you my respects"
They looked up for the first time, being greeted by the dashing smile of a handsome blindfolded man.
