She managed to reach the tower entrance after a long rush. Corpses littered the streets from there to the Chromatic Abundance. How many died? She didn't know. She didn't want to either. It was far worse than she ever thought it could be. Her only goal was to destroy evil yet so much happened... So much she hadn't planned for.
As she was now safe and surrounded by dozens and dozens of men from the tower, she watched Campbell and the five underlings left that he had. The six of them were bloodied all over and their robes were torn badly. They were very exhausted too. But the anger and murderous intent remained strong. Maybe even stronger than ever before.
Campbell screamed: "Are you happy now, you fucking whore?! You destroyed everything! Everyone who died today is because of your fucking self-righteous bullshit justice! Who do you think you are?! Who are you to decide what is right and what is wrong?!"
He was truly at the end of his rope, venting for one last time all his grievances in front of death. But it managed to shake Sophia. Because what he said was true. It was because of her that it turned out this way. Campbell wasn't done yet though:
"What did we ever do to you?! We even had a fucking deal with your Mother?! Why did you have to attack us?! Why did you have to drive us into a corner like this?!"
She remained silent as tears streamed down her face. All those years, she killed many people. She never thought too much about it. To her, it had been some evil punishing outings and no more. But as she saw the ruins of the city and the aftermath of the chase... As she remembered Justin and his team as well as all the others who laid down their lives for her to escape... She cried. She began to question herself and her actions.
Campbell didn't give her that time though as he screamed: "I shall die here today but I will have you accompany me to hell!" and then he rushed forward. Five men rushing alongside him. They went straight forward, all out towards her.
...But they never reached her.
Hundreds of spiritual techniques of high and mid-levels rained down upon them as they rushed forward. They had been surrounded with no way out and now, they were being fire-focused. They had no way to dodge or defend. They ended up taking all their attacks.
It created an incredible explosion with a deafening sound that resounded throughout the entire city. A cloud of dust formed around the place. And once it let out, one could see six charred bodies in a crater.

Campbell was one of them. He laid there at the door to death. All his senses were failing him and he was having a tough time breathing. He could not even speak. He was looking at the sky though only a blur was what he saw, his vision failing him too. He had lost everything. And why? Because of one self-righteous spoiled bitch.
He would have laughed at the absurdity of it all if he could have. But he couldn't. For this was his end. He closed his eyes never to open them again.
As she saw him dead, as she saw the great devil, that she fought for many years, dead, Sophia Crowe didn't feel happy. She didn't feel fulfilled, nor did she felt like she had done good. She felt empty and sad. Because it was only now that she realized that this result came at a cost.
Never before had she considered the consequences of her actions. She always had someone to repair things. But could they repair people's lives now? Could they bring the dead back? Of course not. People died because of her, good and bad. So much destruction, so much pain was caused because of her and her justice...
It was true that butchering people and selling their parts was inhuman. It was true that it was an evil act. But stopping and punishing such evil had a cost. As to whether that cost was worth paying... She wasn't sure anymore. It wasn't her paying for her actions this time, it was only others. And they paid with their lives.
How many families would be broken? How many friends would cry? How much was lost and what was truly gained? This wasn't something people could rationally consider. She couldn't do so. Right now, as everything was ending, she could only see the sadness and the heavy cost everyone else paid.
She fell to her knees as she began to cry.
It was at this time that Jin and Min-Su arrived at the base of the tower and saw the six corpses in the crater. They were impossible to identify but both guessed right. It wasn't hard to imagine who would have followed Sophia all the way here... Speaking of her, they could spot her too. She was on her knees bawling.
Even though the one she hated was dead, she was crying. She wasn't crying for him of course and they weren't stupid enough to think so. They could understand why she was crying as they witnessed the surroundings. The death of Campbell wasn't free.
Jin sighed. Min-Su shook his head. They had both believed it wouldn't have ended well but even they didn't think it would have been this bad. Her justice brought results alright.
Min-Su looked around and asked Jin: "What do you think about this whole thing?" to which Jin asked back: "What about you?"
Min-Su paused before he answered: " I don't feel like this is how justice should be. This sight...It doesn't feel right "
Jin nodded as he said: "Sometimes, justice require one to be evil to pass it down. In the end, what's right and what's wrong...It doesn't matter. Only pain ever follows regardless. It's always been like that whenever people fought"
Min-Su reflected upon those words. They rang true as he gazed at Sophia. Whatever happened today originated from her actions and she would have to bear that fact for a long time. Her actions were based upon a righteous thought but the result... Min-Su looked at Jin and asked: "So, do you think that evil is necessary in this world?"
Jin shook his head sideways and answered: "No. I believe there is no pure good and evil, only people with conflicting views on what those are"
