As they reached the right level, they walked towards their rooms. Hymin's mind was filled with questions while Jin seemed to know exactly what he was doing.
The truth was that he knew exactly what he was doing.
He found the two rooms and opened them both once. The two of them entered the first. Jin opened a window then exited and went to do the same in the other. He asked Hymin to exit the rooms and closed both. Then, he went to the third adjacent room that was, at the moment, not being rented out. He used his spiritual energy to manipulate the lock and open the door. He motioned for Hymin to get in. She did while still not quite understanding anything.
Once they were inside, Jin closed the door silently and locked the door. He took out two children masks from his spatial ring. One depicted a snake and the other a tiger. He gave the tiger to Hymin and put on the snake. Seeing him do so, she did not need to be asked. She put her own mask on. Only after that did she ask: "So, roleplay as animals?"
Jin shook his head and stated: "To hide your identity. Now, let's go"
He opened the window. It was the third level. A mortal would likely die from such a jump. Jin would not. He beckoned for Hymin to come to him and picked her up in a princess carry, frightening her slightly on the moment. She was scared further as he jumped by the window with her in his arms.
He used his energy to land safely and silently.
He dropped Hymin down gently. She was sweating. It had been an instant but she thought she was dying there...Before she could start berating him, she saw him throw the two keys to the rooms they rented into their respective rooms. Then, miraculously, all three windows silently closed. Of course, there was no real mystery. Jin sent some spiritual energy waves out. With enough control, such feats were nothing.
Hymin finally realized what he had done and became incredulous. This was just too much. He was hiding his traces so thoroughly... Just how dangerous of a meeting was it going to be?! She began to reconsider her previous choice. She would not stop here but seeds of regrets were starting to germinate in her mind.
She was not given any time to ponder though. Jin asked her: "Lead the way to the shop"
She nodded and they began to move under the cover of the night. They did not truly hide from being seen though. It did not matter that much as wearing masks was not a crime and cultivators were all freaks in their own ways.

After entering a street named "Yellow Arrow Street", she pointed to a big pavilion not too far and affirmed it to be the stated shop. Jin nodded and took her to an adjacent street. After walking some, he picked her up once more and jumped high. He got up on the rooftop of a shop not too far from the Sam White's so he could have a vantage point to observe the situation.
Hymin was getting to give him some of her thoughts when he motioned for her to shut up and began to hide himself, keeping watch over the shop. He planned to wait and check whether or not this was the right place and it was truly an auction. If many guests came in, he would consider it a possibility to have nothing to do with his real identity. If he saw no one, he would give it up.
Time went by as Hymin and Jin hide on a rooftop watching over the shop. Close to an hour before midnight, people began to arrive at the shop. They were dressed in all kinds of extravagant ways. There was even someone wearing the atrocious gigantic dragon disguise and being rode on by a woman.
Some people were truly weird...
Little by little, more and more people began to arrive. After more than a hundred went in, Jin got up and stated: "Let's go"
Hymin sighed in relief. She was quite cold on this rooftop and remaining motionless was not pure delight... With her mortal body, she was not suited for this kind of shit.
She reluctantly let herself be grabbed by Jin once more as he jumped from the rooftop. Then, they walked towards the shop. At the entrance, two guards blocked them. They both had cultivations at the 39th stage which was very impressive. Yet, they were mere guards here...This showed the high standing of this place and its backing.
Jin took out the invitation paper.
As the guards saw it, they smiled and welcome the two of them politely inside.
Once inside, a grand hall was the sight greeting them. Many buffets with many waiters moving around with food and drinks on platter. Hymin gaped at the sight. It was even more luxurious than the previous time she came here... Pompous paintings, majestic drapes, incredible statues and a whole orchestra along with dancers...
As they entered, a clerk welcomed them and asked once more for their invitation. As he received it, he coughed once before whispering to them: "Please, go through the third door to your right, Sir. Welcome to the black auction"
Jin pointed at the other guests and asked: "And them?"
The man looked at the gathered people and stated: "They were invited to a 'gathering', Sir, not the 'event'"
Jin nodded as he took Hymin's hand and led her to the third door. He opened it and they were both greeted by a vastly smaller room. Within it was a barman behind a counter and a few disguised guests sitting at tables enjoying drinks. Jin noticed a few waiters moving around. One of them came to them and said: "The event will start soon. Meanwhile, feel free to have a seat here and a few drinks on the house, Sir"
