Sarina Sempress entered the barrier and an hourglass similar to that of the exterior appeared inside. Then, everything beyond the barrier became fuzzy until the barrier itself became completely white, obstructing the sight of all. This space was now sealed and the law of time inside of it was altered. To everyone outside, she would exit this space only a second or so later. But here, twenty-nine years would flow.
She looked at the body laying down to her right. She sighed with a grin. The kid wasn't awake yet which was perfect. She walked over and admired the state his body was in. Multiple fractures, multiple exploded veins... Quite a heavy loss of blood as well. Then, she looked at the corruption. It had taken over the entirety of his right arm, half of his neck and a small part of his face reaching his eyes that it absorbed and turned into his. The thing was obviously awake.
The grin didn't leave her face as she addressed it: "Oy, are you no longer going to laugh? Do you plan to remain mute?"
The corrupted being snickered as many mouths appeared on the arm and neck of Jin. It spoke with its many different tones: "What are you planning to do?"
She laughed before stating: "I like your fear. But I don't have the time to play mind games. They say you grow more patient as you age but they're wrong. I hate wasting time. So, let me ask you, what are you waiting for?"
It asked back: "What do you mean?"
She coldly said: "Your host will die at this rate"
It sneered: "And what of it?"
She continued: "You already assimilated with him. You will die too"
It stayed silence for a moment before answering: "Yes. I will. Because I failed to corrupt his soul after assimilating his body"
She teased: "Aren't you angry to have been pushed to such a state?"
It remained calm. It wasn't affected by her words. This gigantic moving stone couldn't do anything mroe to it. It knew he would die soon after all. Instead, as its final moments neared, it grew curious. Why was she here? So, it asked her: "What is your purpose?"
The grin was back as she opened her arms widely and said: "To give you a second chance!"

It remained quiet as if it didn't believe her. It didn't to be honest. It didn't see any reasons why she would do so. It stayed quiet. Then she added: "There is something I want and he is the one that should be able to do so. If you absorbed him, wouldn't you get his memories and abilities as well? Him or you, I don't care but one of you has to survive"
It stayed quiet as it weighted its options. In the end, a single thought prevailed. It didn't want to die yet. It wanted to live, to devour and corrupt much more. It wasn't yet satisfied.
The many mouths grinned in turn as they all spoke in one unified tone: "What is your offer?"
She laughed. Then, she spoke: "You will never win against him inside his soul sea. But what if he went in yours?"
It knew she was telling the truth. In his own soul sea, he would be able to destroy this puny human's remnants easily. Even in its state right now, it had the ability and the confidence to do so. However, there was a problem. It didn't believe that this human had the ability to enter its soul sea. It asked the stone: "How could he enter my soul sea?"
She smirked and stated: "I will teach him how. You only need to heal its body meanwhile and stay quiet about our discussion. What do you say?"
It pondered for a moment. It couldn't be certain she wasn't lying. But then again, it had no choice. If it wanted to live, this was the last opportunity left. Even if it was a trap, it was better than death. And it couldn't see a point for her to set such a trap. It didn't know this stone's goal nor did it know what she was but it didn't give a fuck. It would live thanks to her, survive her trap if there was and then, it would devour her to restore itself.
It agreed. Then, turned silent as it began to focus its energy to heal its host's body, Jin's body.
As she saw him start the process, she giggled. This was exactly as planned. She needed this body to remain alive if she didn't want things to end up in vain. She had a bigger goal than sharing her inheritance. She needed this kid alive. As for whether it would be corruption in charge of it? It would depend on the kid. She wanted to see him create one more miracle before making up her mind. If he failed, well, it would have just meant it wasn't his fate to survive. She would have to find a way to use the corruption instead or wait for eons again. She was a remnant, an immortal in a way though stuck there. She had time. She had patience contrary to what she said previously. You couldn't reach such heights and live so long without this kind of quality.
Anyways, since there would no longer be a danger of the body itself failing, it was time for her to work. And it began with waking up the young man. And what better way than a slap? A spiritual slap, of course!
She sent a very small wave of energy to hit his right cheek. It wouldn't damage him but would be just painful enough to trigger a brain reaction and wake him up.
It worked.
Jin awoke. The first thing he saw was a pure white ceiling. Then, he saw a giant stone statue depicting a beautiful woman bending over him. Its eyes were as big as half his own body... He got frightened by the sight and couldn't help cursing out loud: "What the fucking fuck?!"
