…a bit more to go, Rain thought as he look at his physical attributes which is already in the SS-rank.

In the pace he was making, he should be able to reach the Level Cap sooner than he had expected!

More so, if he grinds his level in this Dungeon, then that goal would be reached even sooner.

Now, Rain truly understands why this kind of Dungeon is said to be more precious than any priceless treasure, that even a Kingdom would try to monopolize it. This kind of leveling speed is cheating!

Though, perhaps it also got to do with being the first one to kill the Boss and clear the first floor, that the reward was twice as normal.

“Rain, did you get that?”

Lafetti asked with a somewhat surprised expression. Although she had heard it about it before, this was actually her first time entering this kind of dungeon. And the reward really surprises her.

“Hm, although the fight is hard, and almost to the point of being unreasonable, it seems like the rewards make the pain worth it,”

“I felt an incredible power surging through me. And even the voice of the world appeared, telling me I got a rare Skill: [Rock Golem], and a Common Skill: [Earthquake]!” Granite muttered with a beaming expression.

“I never thought this Dungeon would give such incredible skills!”

“Mine is a Rare Skill called [Water Snake Dance], and a Common Skill: [Healing Spring].”

“…as for mine, well, I got the [Exploding Flame Spear] and common skill: [Leadership].” Scarlet also gave out her skill as she walked over, with the Ant General loyally following behind her.

Granite’s skill: [Rock Golem] can basically let one summon Golems made from rock, while Earthquake is an ability to shake the ground, and causing damage over a large number of enemies. As for Lafetti’s [Water Snake dance], it let her summon quite a number of serpents made out of water—an incredible skill that seemed to be almost similar to her Bloodhound Unique Skill, but just a bit weaker.

Though, perhaps it was a skill-based on her [Water Serpent] which she had used when she was under Berserk mode. As for her [Healing Spring], it’s a good healing-type skill that summons a ball of water that can heal. It’s a very good skill that, despite being a Common Skill, was actually almost equivalent to a rare-tier skill due to its scarcity.

Scarlet, on the other hand, as the name suggests, [Exploding Flame Spear] lets her summon flame-type spear that exploded upon impact. It’s a very strong offensive skill, stronger and more efficient than her strongest Fire-type Magic Skill: [Meteor]. As for [Leadership], it’s a skill that enhanced and strengthened her allies, including her minions.

Rain also explained his newly obtained abilities, which, especially the [Beast Shadow] made the others somewhat interested.

After all, it’s a very strong skill if used right. even Lafetti was really interested in knowing how it works. Because of that, with Lafetti’s insistence, Rain walked towards the dead Goblin Champion that has yet to dissolve completely. Though, the monster’s colors had already started to fade. It would perhaps completely disintegrate within 2 to 3 minutes. Still, even without running, he immediately reached the fading monster with anticipation.

Rain didn’t know if the ability would also work for the monsters from the Dungeon, but he sure wants to find it out. And besides, the power of the Goblin Champion is something he would never want to miss out!

Rain stared at the monster’s body and gulped. Then, with great anticipation, he held out his hand.

Just a few minutes ago, this was an enemy that had almost threatened their lives. But now, the fallen champion was a top-class ingredient for his skill.

The power you aimed at us, I will be taking it! It should deal as a good compensation for the trouble you gave to us.

Rain muttered inwardly as he activated the newly obtained skill. Immediately after, dark shadows started to come out from its body.

[Do you want to extract the target’s Shadow? Yes or No]

Rain’s face immediately brightened, and without hesitation, he chose ‘Yes’. Immediately after, the shadow beneath the Goblin Champion began to quiver and move as if it was alive. It looks like black tentacles as it rose up in the air, and made contact with Rain’s hand. It was somewhat creepy, but Rain steeled himself as he felt magic power pouring onto his hand.

[Shadow Extraction has been attempted]

[Extracting… … …]

Rain’s brows furrowed and large beads of sweat started to appear on his forehead. However—

Crack!

With a sound of glass breaking, the shadow tentacle that was wrapping around his hand suddenly cracked and started disintegrating into thin air. Even the corpse of the Goblin Champion broke into tiny pieces of polygonal glass shards and disappeared.

[Extraction Failed.]

“What the hell!”

Rain’s expression fell immediately. And he couldn’t help but gnashed his teeth in frustrations.

To think he would fail… and there was not even a do-over!

“So I guess, it failed?”

Looking at his solemn expression, Lafetti and the others immediately understand what had happened. Though, not surprising, but still they somewhat felt sorry for him. After all, Rain must have been looking forward to it. Nevertheless, skills are not absolute. Sometimes, it would also fail.

“…especially, you just got the skill, Rain. So its level would be very low. It’s not surprising it would not succeed in your first try.” She consoled as she strokes his head gently.

“The monster’s strength would have been nice,” Rain smiled wryly. But although he felt somewhat bitter and utterly disappointed, what Lafetti said is the truth.

This world is not a fiction where the protagonist has almost an absolute success in everything he does. He was still a human. And the skill was still even Lv0. The chances of failure are too high than the chances of success. Not to mention, the shadow he was trying to extract was from a high level monster. The chances of success must have been very, very low.

“Well, at the very least, it left some good things behind,”

Rain shrugged his shoulders with a faint smile as he turned his attention the things that the Goblin Champion had left behind after it disappeared. One of it, of course, was the terrifying weapon of the Goblin Champion the spiked filled Club. A piece of leather, an earring, and a wooden tablet-like object.

[Titan’s Wreckage (Unique): Once held by a powerful Titan in the past. This weapon was imbued with dark magic and engraved with powerful runes. Giving 100 additional points in strength, and 50 points in Endurance. Its sharp, long spikes cause great pain and bleeding. And with a great slam on the ground, this weapon possesses the ability to upheave earth, creating a powerful shockwave that rumbles like a mighty war cry of the great titans. It also has an added skill attributes such as [Durable], [Weight Reduction], [Amplified Power Impact], [Fissure], [???], [???] and lastly: [???]. (Current State—Sealed)]

[Goblin Champion’s Tough Skin—Material]

[Goblin Lord’s Fang Earring (Rare): Made from the fang of a Goblin Lord who was once a terrifying figure in the Continent. Imbued with the hatred and power of the Goblin Lord, hence once the user received enough damage, or one’s emotion turned to anger, one would be able to enter [Berserk] doubling one’s status for five minutes.]

Rain grinned looking at the drops scattered in the ground. A Unique-tier but almost comparable to that of a Legendary Weapon. As expected of an ancient artifact. No wonder, the Goblin Champion could be so powerful.

Without saying anything he gave the [Titan’s Wreckage] to Granite who was already almost drooling, looking at the weapon. Granite hugged him in excitement. Though, fortunately, his physique had already improved beyond human comprehension, if not, with just this one hug, his human body would have been squashed by her strength.

“Thank you, Rain…!! I really, really like it!”

Granite laughed happily, kissed his cheeks and grabbed the weapon, before staring at it with gleaming, sparkling eyes.

There seemed to be a halo on that weapon. He felt as if the spiky club seemed to have glowed in light for a moment when Granite held it, in which he was certain, was nothing but a misconception. It couldn't be... right?

Still, the indistinct fierce killing intent and aggressiveness without any modest that he had felt from just looking at it, was true. It might be an incredible artifact, but it's no less to say it's a weapon of disaster. This kind of weapon is made for slaughter. Nothing else.

Even Rain had a feeling that he would not be able to control it even if he wanted to wield it.

“But are you sure you can control something like that? It doesn’t seem to be just a simple weapon…” Rain asked worriedly.

However, Granite just smiled without care. She then started swinging it around, “Indeed, it’s a bit disobedient. However, in due time, I will be able to control it just fine,”

Each swing she made seemed to give rise to a dim blood-red radiance filled with aggressiveness and murderous intention, that even Lafetti furrowed her brows.

It’s completely different than when the Goblin Champion held it—and it only mean one thing, it has yet to truly take control of the weapon. Perhaps, it was only able to tap a small amount of its true power?

Still, the Goblin Champion was already very strong despite not being able to completely control it. It’s already the testament of how powerful this weapon of destruction was!

Rain and Lafetti felt a bit disturbed and uncomfortable with the killing intent the [Titan’s Wreckage] was, but it seems like it was not for Granite.

Holding the [Titan’s Wreckage], Granite stares blankly at her new weapon and her eyes became more and more gentle as if she was looking at her sweetheart. In fact, the way she looked at it fascinatingly was like when Lafetti and Zarda were looking at him, so her expression made Rain couldn’t help but smile in relief and amusement.

Still, he tried to use his Empathy Link just in case to feel the Rock Lamian's emotions. if there's a strange change in her emotion, he would surely grabbed that thing out of her hands even if she get angry. But he was relieved to know that there seemed to be no sudden change in her emotions. No dark and negative feelings, only excitement.

Perhaps, the [Titan’s Wreckage] prefers Granite than the Goblin Champion. Hence, it was displaying this kind of Killing intent at anyone else, yet Granite was not the least bit affected?

“You think she’s going to be okay?”

Laffeti giggled in amusement.

“She’s fine… from what I know, there indeed weapons containing spirit. However, only those who are not qualified, or with a weak mental will, would be affected by the spirit and change. Granite is one of the strongest in her generation, in fact, much stronger than me. If I didn’t have a [Divine Blessing], she would have evolved quicker than me. So, don’t worry about it, and even if something would really go wrong, Elder Sister would do something about it.”

“I see,”

Rain nodded his head with a relieved smile. Still, he looks at Lafetti—despite not showing it properly, she truly had complete and almost absolute trust in Zarda. And even though she always calls her with her name, or simply Chief, but in front of him, she refers to her as Elder Sister. In this kind of moment, Rain felt that Lafetti is truly cute.

“What? Are there flower growing on my face?” she frowned.

She felt somewhat strange; embarrassed even from the way she was being stared at by him. To her frantic, she had even imitated the words she had heard from him, causing Rain to feel amused, and he laughed.

His laughter caused Lafetti’s expression to darken even more, but before she could say anything, he suddenly kissed her cheek. Lafetti’s body clearly stiffened, seemly not expecting Rain would suddenly do that.

As she was about to say something, Rain had already sealed her mouth with his lips, hence, she could no longer continue her resistance.

My lover is really cute~

Although he never had intimate experience before his transmigration, however, after being eaten voraciously ever since he had come into this world, he had been learning. And for that matter, he had had somewhat become confident and bold, much more than he used to.

If uncle Glen and all those people he knew, including those from the Orphanage and Mother Superior saw him now, they would surely hardly recognize him by now.

Lafetti facing the attack from her beloved began to gasp and responded as well, kissing his him like her life depended on it. She sneaked her fragrant tongue into his mouth in revenge, and feverishly sucked and teased him, completely trying to take the initiative from him.

Rain stared at her with his alluring, blue eyes, gazing at her with a love-filled gaze. Her figure was as slim as a cypress tree, but the parts which were meant to be full were full to the point that it was hard to know where to look.

Her heavy and ample breasts seemed just like luscious fruits, and from the slender waist to the perfectly curved back, this was arousing enough to be considered criminal.

Those luscious, cherry red lips, whispering those sweet words, looked so fresh and filled with desire. The wafting scent, mixed between a Lamian’s innate pheromone-thick fragrance, and her own charming scent, her warmth, and her softness to the touch, had almost made him dizzy with sensations.

“*cough!”

As Rain and Lafetti became engrossed with each other, suddenly an annoyed voice rang out.

“I know you love each other, and I don’t see any problem with that. But can’t you choose a better place and time for it?”

It was Scarlet who was watching them with a very annoyed expression. Normally, being caught like this, any couple would have felt somewhat ashamed, or embarrassed, but Rain and Lafetti were different.

Lafetti aside, who didn’t really care about anything, and was just rolling her eyes in annoyance for having her time with Rain being disturbed- Rain had already gotten used to over public affection that it doesn’t bother him anymore even if someone watched them going at it.

Tuly, an adaptation of a human being felt really surreal.

“You’re just jealous,”

Lafetti glared at her, irritated.

“I am, but what I am saying is still reasonable!!” Scarlet actually admitted it, somewhat startling Rain. “Can’t you see that we are still fighting the remaining enemies? And if you want to make out, not in this godforsaken place!”

“I can be intimate as I can, and anywhere and everywhere I wanted! What’s that got to do with the place and time?!”

Actually, Rain was also somewhat attracted to her—despite not being entirely human, or half-human like Lafetti, still, Scarlet, as an Antman actually also has her own allure.

She has a gorgeous, shoulder-length, red hair, and a pair of antennae protruding from her forehead. Aside from her lower body akin to that of a giant ant, at the same time resembling a fabled Arachne. And the big, compounded eyes, Scarlet were truly a beautiful woman.

A drop-dead gorgeous beauty possessing one of the most amazing bodies he had ever seen, probably a size 2, maybe a 4 tops, capped with a magnificent rack. Her upper body was lithe, but not skinny, instead, she appeared very athletic that can make any man start drooling on the spot the moment they saw her.

But still, although Rain felt honored and sweet being loved by them and that he had already gotten used to thinking and having a relationship with not just a single woman, he still felt somewhat inclined in his previous view of mono-love.

Because of this rooted belief, he had a hard time taking the initiative to approach other women by himself, even though the women in question were taking the initiative to display their affection for him. In the end, he became a passive character in terms showing affection to any women aside from Lafetti and Zarda.

Though, in this world where women are much bolder than even men in a liberated country, so even if he wanted to take a stand, it would still be a very long time to get used to it, even if he wanted it.

Still, Rain wanted to savor every moment, especially when he is with Lafetti and Zarda. Because of this, he just treats every affection thrown at him by other women like a passing breeze, and let what happen, happens in due time. And the others seemed to feel the same way, understanding that there was no need for haste.

Because of this particular reason, their display of affection felt like them spoiling him, or joking around, which made him really at ease.

Watching the centurion ant continued to banter with Lafetti, Rain just stared at Scarlet with a faint, sweet smile. He shook his head and stand up, somewhat amused by the two’s banter and arguments. He turned his attention back to the surrounding, and indeed there were still many Goblins. And in fact, not just Goblins but also other monsters as well, such as slimes and bug-type monsters—there were even giant mantises appearing from the entrance they came.

It seems like the moment the Goblin Champion, which is perhaps the leader of this horde, died, the place had become a free-for-all, and those monsters that avoided this place like a plague before had now come running in. But comparing numbers, it was nothing.

The seemly hopeless horde of the Goblins had stopped appearing.

The Ant General and the other Antmen, and Killer Ants left, and even Granite, for who knows when had also continued their fight as if they were not exhausted.

Granite was laughing wildly, seemly pleased with her new weapon.

I guess, the battle doesn’t need me, after all.

“Come on, guys. Let’s pick up the loots first!” he called out to both Lafetti and Scarlet who was still arguing. Though, if one looks closely, Scarlet seemed to be the one losing as she was slowly backing up in fear of Lafetti’s glare and cold gaze. Her expression distorted, and tears started forming at the corner of her, beautiful compounded eyes. She look vry pitiful.

Hearing Rain’s words, Scarlet felt as if she had heard the voice of salvation and she turned towards him with a moist gaze. If not for the long tail that suddenly appeared between them, she might have actually run towards him—this greatly annoyed her.

She turned towards Lafetti and see her, smirking coldly—‘Don’t even think about it!’ as if reading her mind, Lafetti’s expression seemed to say so.

“You!!”

“Come on, help me with them,”

Rain smiled wryly. However, seeing how Lafetti was acting, it seems like finally, she had started accepting Scarlet as their own person, which of course, made him extremely happy.

If not, Lafetti would have treated her even more coldly, or directly punished her. Although he would not want to see it, and perhaps even protect Scarlet when that time comes, but it’s not something he would blame his lover.

Although he couldn’t agree with it, the law of this world is far different than what he knows of. And he understands that the environment molded a person. It would never be her fault…

Well, even if she acts arrogantly, what gives?

Rain wouldn’t care about it at all, as long as it would not be aimed at him. Although biased, and selfish, he would not care about it, nor would he give any interest in knowing what’s right or wrong.

Still, up until now, he had never stopped trying to appeal to the others about equality in his own way. And it seems like it’s starting to bud, and this gave him some sense of satisfaction.
