Chapter 41

Zarda’s lips curled upwards as she watched Rain and Lafetti made love with each other. Though she was somewhat envious, she felt as if she was seeing the future. And this made her extremely happy and excited.

“Peeping is not a good hobby, Chief,”

A wry voice appeared behind her.

“I wasn’t,” Zarda replied simply. It's not peeping it if they are doing it in broad daylight, and public without care. “We are just safe-guarding that nothing would break in and disturb them,” And besides, not like she was the only one. After all, around this area, the other Lamians are surely watching in secret as well.

“She looks happy,” another voice muttered.

The voice made Zarda turned towards Lafetti’s face and saw her expression beamed, distorting in utter satisfaction and pleasure. Well, it’s something no one would find unexpected after seeing the unexpected huge length sticking out from Rain’s pelvis. Even her, Zarda was certain that she would be a hot, squirming mess if that was pointed at her.

With Lafetti’s tail around them, the tip coiling around his chest, Rain leaned his hips forward and fed his length slowly into Lafetti. Zarda’s always calm and aloof little sister gave a loud moan of pleasure, and Zarda watched as Rain’s eyes closed briefly until he was fully seated.

“I never thought the mating of man had progressed so far,” Drova giggled in amusement.

Stagna chuckled and added her own impression. “..and the way he went down, and suck on her hasjva, I’ve never seen a man do something like it. I always thought the mating of men is as simple as penetration…but watching them go on like this, makes me somewhat curious and interested,”

“And you said that peeping is not a good hobby,” Drova chided with a teasing smile.

Stagna rolled her eyes and didn’t offer any response. She turned back her gaze at the two, although far for a human, but with their eyesight, it was as clear as if they are doing it in front of them. Although she was not interested in mating, but the woman in her—no, the scholar, rather—was completely helpless in her newfound curiosity. She seemed to have an urge to try it, know it, and learn more about it...personally, if it's possible.

And she's not only one, for sure!

The low throb started inside, made Zarda winced as she watched Rain move within Lafetti. Long strokes…no hurried measure, but deep, tunneling thrusts. Her breathing was ragged, and her eyes stayed glued to the scene she was witnessing. She turned towards Drova; “Drova, can I ask you the usual…?” muttered, her eyes laced with thick lust that couldn't be concealed.

If not for her strong self-control, she would have run over and joined in that fun, and it would surely break all her plans. It's the last thing she wanted, especially now that it was going better than she had expected.

Drova turned towards Zarda. The surprise was only for a moment, however, as she immediately made her way over her.

“Always, Chief,” she said with a grin.

Stagna once again rolled her eyes. However, she was already used to it. She watched as Drova stopped in front of their Chief. Without saying anything more, Drova grasped Zarda’s wrists and ran her hands along her own thighs, up her sides to her breast.

“It seems like you hunger, Chief,” she used her other hand to cup the Lamian Chief’s jaw, one thumb stroking her soft cheek.

“Anyone will be,” Zarda scooted closer, pressing her breasts into Drova’s hands. The latter stoked her from nipple to side, slow, sensuous caresses that tightened her nipples and sent pulses of need into her own hasjva. Her hands in Drova’s shoulders, as she tilted her head and touched her lips on the other Lamian’s mouth.

There was no gentle invitation to this kiss. It began with more intent, with a sense of purpose, not out of love. Her lips were moving against hers, her mouth pressing harder than the first time. Their long tongues coiling around each other, licking and sucking. This was not new, as Zarda had passed her mating urges this way for a long time already. But she knows that this would end sooner than she expected. Rain will come to her, and she would make sure of that!

Drova's hand slid between her waist and thighs, then nudging the entrance to her body. The Lamian Chief was already slick with desire, wet, open, and swollen and wanting.

Drova captured Zarda’s lower lip between her teeth and flicked her tongue against it. “Does Elder Sister like that?” she grinned. She trailed kisses along Zarda’s jawline, not waiting about the latter’s reply. She was trying out what she had seen, and learned upon watching Rain's methods, and somehow it thrilled her.

The smile Zarda gave was at once amused, intrigued, and…hungry. Then she saw Drova’s gaze dropped to her mouth, her throat, her breasts. It seems like even Drova was aroused as well… Zarda mused as Drova feathered delicate caresses across her collar bones. Her fingertips stroke the Lamian Chief’s sternum to breasts, across her nipples. Then, she saw Drova lowered her body, her long fork tongue hissing.

She shoves her long tongue deep inside of her, giving a groan of approval as she pumps in and out of Zarda’s wet flesh.

Zarda let out a long moan as she felt a moist, wet tongue licking her hasjva. She bit her lips and her hips surge up against her hard. Drova pulls her tongue and brings her mouth to her clit and forms her lips around it, sucking her hard. Then, she brings her tongue in to play and circles it around her, harder, faster, rough…raw…

While being served by Drova, Zarda watched as Rain moved and thrust his hips on Lafetti…captivated, almost feeling his cock between her own legs. With her keen eyesight, she could even see Rain’s shaft glisten with moisture every time he pulled back from Lafetti’s body. His hips thrust back and forth with a languid pace. It went on and on and on.

Zarda just stared at the spectacle before them.

Rain…sooner…you will be mine, as well…

… …

On a few meter distances from the camp, Rain focused on swinging his sword. However, rather than just blindly swinging his sword, he also mixed in feints and released a blow with killing intent. He followed the training program which Drova had passed on him before and acted like he was in a desperate battle.

According to Drova, fighting with life on the line seemed to be one of the best methods to break one’s limit and become stronger. Rain agreed on that notion, and while remembering the fight with the Troll a few days ago—actually, just all the emotions he had felt at that time, at the same time, combining the battles he had seen on movies back in Earth—such as the battle of the Aveng*rs against Than*s, placing himself with Capt. and the others, he fought with the illusory Than*s that appeared like the Troll.

He did it this way because he thought that the battles that had occurred in the movies were much better than the moves he had made during his fight against monsters. So he tried to recreate those fighting moves and tried to analyze if he could do better.

With Sylphy’s support, Rain learned that he can remember everything, even the tiniest information that he had read or seen before when he first became aware of the world. According to Sylphy, although some were vague and a bit choppy, due to how old they were, but she can recreate his memories and stored them like a memory bank.

Even pictures, books, movies, and everything—Sylphy seemed to have an archive that she can easily access whenever. Though apparently, it seems like Rain possessing an eidetic memory made everything worked smoothly. Now Sylphy can access, almost all of Rain’s memories.

Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions.

Just like now, Rain seemed as if he was watching the movie The Aven*ers: End*ame all over again, reflecting on a blue window that appeared in front of his retina. Every moves that Capt. And the others had made during the battle, he observes it to the tiniest details and tried recreating them.

While imagining incoming attacks, he moved around to defend against them.

If you looked around you would see no one, but in Rain’s mind, there was an enemy, or to be precise, Than*s that look like the Troll that was projected in his eyes. Sylphy’s recreation of the movie inside his mind was much better than watching it 3D!

Rain can even feel the emotion pumping when Than*s swung that massive double sword at him. It was nerve-wracking, at the same time exciting. He can fight against monsters from superhero movies, cartoons, or even Anime and perhaps might be able to steal their techniques and skills. Though, not as perfect as the original, he can still be able to recreate.

Since Sylphy could make a nearly perfect illusion of the opponent, it was perfect for training alone. She not only able to recreate the movie scenes but also, made a perfect copy of the character based on her analysis and tried to move it as much as possible that it would help Rain’s training. Now, Rain felt as if there was a virtual simulation inside his mind, and that he can fight them in PVP.

"This won’t do, I was killed within 10 seconds."

After fighting for a while, Rain put down his sword as he felt a game over against the Great Titan Than*s in merely millisecond. He can’t even follow how Captain Amer*ca move during the battle without being hit, and finally was killed in seconds.

"I tire out pretty fast too."

Rain tried to stand up with the help of his sword while breathing roughly, but he ended up taking a rest while being sprawled on the ground. Trying to follow the Heroes movement and speed was much harder than he could ever imagine. He was already sweating bullets in just a few rounds of battle.

The speed at which the sword was swung along with the movement of his body could not keep up with the image he had. Although he should have a physical attribute that was stronger and more powerful than an ordinary human, his body, on the contrary, was still weak and unable to handle the burden of true battle.

Muscle pains will probably pester him tomorrow if he wouldn’t drink a potion or be healed by Gretia. Well, Gretia would probably help me without hesitation so there’s no problem there. Just the matter of potions being so bitter and medicine-like, in fact, energy drinks would be much better weighs his mind. However, if he tries to put flavor on it, such as honey or fruit extracts, the efficacy of the potion would be affected.

It seems like, that still needs to be researched first before he could turn his attention on creating another kind of potion.

“Haa, I’m still weak,” Rain unconsciously let out a sigh.

"No, I think you actually got better."

Suddenly hearing the voice behind him, Rain, who was lying down with his arms and legs stretched out, immediately got up.

The one who approached him was none other than Drova who had a two-handed sword strapped to her back.

Having a face with well-refined features which makes you think twice about approaching her, while also having a beauty which is reminiscent of a wild carnivore, that kind of a woman.

Even though she's supposed to be around the middle to late thirties, she looks youthful in another way. As expected of a Lamian.

“Sister Drova, huh,”

“What? Disappointed that is me?”

“Of course not, though I’m somewhat curious since when were you watching?"

"Since you were killed for the fourteenth time I guess? Rather than that, just what kind of monster are you trying to fight? Though I couldn’t understand anything but it seems like you have a rather terrifying enemy, since you are killed in just a matter of seconds. Even your expression seemed as if you’re facing a very desperate situation. It makes me wonder, what kind of monster are you trying to face,”

".... I was able to last an average of 10 seconds though." Said Rain wryly.

"It's fine if you challenge a strong opponent, but if the difference in power is too great it doesn't have any meaning you know.... Rather, what kind of opponent did you fight just now? You look as if you’re reproducing a memory. Even I can feel the desperate feelings coming from you,"

".... rather than a memory, it’s just from my imagination. I made an image of the strongest enemy I could think of. Anyway, Elder Sister, my fighting skills, how are they?”

“You’re progressing, that’s for sure.” Drova nodded with great appreciation. “There were even some movements and skills I haven’t seen before…it’s hard to believe that you could be so skillful despite not using Combat Arts. It’s like the way you fight is made with the absence of Combat Arts in mind. Purely physical prowess, flexibility, and skills…it’s fascinating to say the least,”

Well, it is made without the system of Combat Arts in mind. Rain smiled wryly. Back on Earth, there were no such things such as Combat Arts or Skills that have such supernatural effects on them like those in games. What Rain meant by Combat Arts, are the Combat-based special attacks that defy logic and reason. They had added magic and mysterious laws that enhanced or decrease one’s capabilities. It’s like a passive effect whenever the skill or Arts were activated.

"Anyway isn't it admirable that you're training even while Lafetti was away. Since it'd be a waste of your talent for you who is able to use everything I teach you after seeing it only once or twice, it somehow made me appreciates you even more,"

Lafetti and some of the Lamians were sent in advance to scout the area and the lair around the Killer Ants. Because they were now closer to the enemy’s colony, Zarda made a careful approach to gather more information first before moving. Although they were not afraid of the enemy, Zarda wouldn’t let her sisters’ fall into a dangerous situation because of arrogance. To this kind thinking, Rain can’t help but admired the Chief even more. She was not only beautiful but also smart and wise.

"Anyway, Rain you've certainly become more skillful."

In regards to physical ability, Rain surely changed a bit from what she saw before going on this expedition. But the level of his techniques has skyrocketed. As if he has been fighting in real battles for years. What he now lacks is physical advancement and experience. Right now he can't keep up with his high-level techniques, but if his body catches up he can grow even stronger.

Perhaps even stronger than her, Drova mused as she watched Rain trained and fight an invisible opponent. The accuracy, the strangeness, the precision, the elegance, his combat arts that seemed to have been honed to utmost perfection—if there was true Combat Arts without the reliance of magic or skills, then this can only be what they call a true Combat Arts that have been arranged or systematized to perfection.

Despite the enormous difference in power, strength, and speed between Rain and hers, still, she had to admit that she can describe his movements and techniques only as graceful dance.

[Power Strike], [Double Slash], [Dash Thrust], [Peerless Heavy Strike], [Consecutive Raging Strikes], [Beheading Moon Slash] and many Combat Arts are fighting techniques that are enhanced with magic, whether one is talented in Magic or not, as it’s a passive effect. It’s as if it has an auto-assist by some kind of invisible power while doing that action. Hence, rather than calling it skills, the people instead calls them [Combat Arts], or the Art of Combat.

Not relying on skills or magic, only the movements of body parts—it was an intriguing way of fighting that seemed to be designed for unarmed combat. It has some fascinating elegance on it that even Drova wanted to learn it somehow. His fighting method has movements and techniques that she has never seen before.

But what made Drova rather curious is that…why does Rain know all of this? Is this the result of his memory loss? He knows of them before but just had forgotten about it, though his body remembers it—if that’s the case, it makes sense why he seemed to know some high-level techniques but his body seemed to be unable to follow. And, if that's the case, then it can also be understood why there was no enhanced power behind his every technique. It's all because he was just mimicking them.

Then, another question… why does he know these high-level techniques?

His level is the lowest, at Lv1 at most with H rankings…this doesn’t connect with how he was knowledgeable with this kind of Combat Arts. Why is he so weak? Even if his Combat Arts didn’t conform with Magic, displaying the fact that he was not good in it, hence resulting in the dependence in the way that didn’t need skills and Combat Arts in his way of fighting, he should still possess quite better physical attributes, at least a D or C rank.

What made it even confusing is that… Rain doesn’t seem to be that untalented as it should have been. He was even able to learn all the skills she taught him once or twice the time faster than normal Lamians could. She had said this about him a while ago, even among the most talented fighters in the world, he’s probably one of those that can be considered a "genius that appears once every hundred years," that’s how much talent he possesses.

The truth is that after Drova began to teach him, his skills increased rapidly. Just like what Lafetti claimed prior, he matured so fast, and learn things as if he was absorbing everything she taught of him so easily.

He’s truly a talent that can evoke jealousy from others.

Then, why is he practicing this systematized but without magic basing Combat Arts? If he was this talented and a Genius, there is no need to learn this roundabout way of fighting. Although they are good and all, but Combat Arts has far better killing and destructive powers.

Drova has many questions she wants to be answered. However, she cannot do it as everyone has their own secrets, even Rain. Though, in Rain’s case, he has a memory loss and couldn’t give an answer even if he wanted it. Despite this, Drova was curious about Rain’s true identity—Zarda claimed he might be a son of a noble family, but surely, he’s not just a simple Noble.

Perhaps, even a scion among the most prestigious and most powerful Noble families in the world of Humans. But why is he here? How did he get here? What kind of situation had cost him his memories and led him to this kind of place…?

Whatever the case, since they had discarded him…the Amani Tribe would happily take him in.
